Let’s see what Twinkle Bailey gets today…

Hi everyone,
I was working hard today, trying to get something substantial done on Twinkle Bailey’s new set… We already have the dress and the boots…

…but what else could I come up? Want to see? I made her a little jumper or maybe a pinafore to wear over her dress if she likes…

I drafted this pattern and it was a bit tedious… I lined the top of the jumper with tulle to keep it extra lightweight and reduce the bulk. It slips over her dress and has one snap in the back…

I guess she might be my little Anne of Green Gables…

As cute as that was, I made something else…

Yes, a tiny little straw hat… actually the tinest one I’ve ever made… and it is adorable on her…

I added some paper flowers in colors to match her dress and jumper…

She became quite the little “ham” when I got out my camera for some pictures…

Okay… that’s it for today… let’s see if I can figure out something else for her…

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, my goodness, I liked the outfit before, but adding the pinafore just elevates it all the more!! SO cute!! and then the hat….This outfit is sure a winner!!!

    Waaah…..I don’t have a Twinkle!!!

(Looks like things are heating up a bit on the current auction. Yay!!)

    1. When I saw that green at the cuff I wondered what else it would be. The pinafore is just too cute! Her flowery hat is perfect on her too. She won’t be in it very long but she will still be sad to see it go😲

      1. It did it again😲
Hi Charlotte…looks like it decided I should share with you today🤭

Oh, so cute, Jeanne! That little jumper/apron is just what she needed! And the hat! Now she needs a little satchel or suitcase to take with her when she boards the train to Grandma’s house! That’s exactly what I think she is going to do, and the first thing that came to my mind when I saw all the pieces together!

Love Jeanne’s pinafore pattern. Looks so sweet with the tiny Twinkle dress. Bailey’s such a cute model too. Wish she was selling both patterns on her Etsy page. Very hard to find those little patterns that is if my fingers could even sew that small an item.
Yesterday, we had to do some work at our other house. Digging out drains, pruning more oleander etc. So, my doll delivery was not priority. When we returned and drove into the driveway in the truck, I noticed a lot of mail sticking out of the box. Yikes, mail delivery. Did the mail person leave my box or will I have to go to the post office to retrieve it? I sprang into action. Grabbing my tools, I managed to make it up those 13 steps to the door before other person was out of the truck. Right on the mat was a doll box. I suppose that I could have unlocked the door and brought it inside, but fortunately, I did not. I bent down, grabbed the box and stuffed it under the bench in one swift movement. Back upright, I started pulling mail from the box. As I turned, there was other person right behind me. He hadn’t seen me moving the box under the bench. Phew! Had I bothered to find my keys and unlock the door with my garden tools in my hands, he would have seen the box for sure. 🙂 Anyway, after a drink of water, it was back outside to unload the truck. Took two of us unload a full can of garden cuttings from the truck and dump in our yard can. We had completely filled the can at the other house. Then, more garden implements and tools to unload. I made another trip up the stairs, hoping that other person would begin taking things into the garage. Nope, he had to unload rakes and tools first and pile them by the door. While I impatiently waited for a break, other person, finally opened the side door and went inside with some tools. Up on the porch, I sprang into action. Pulled out the awaiting Siblie box from under the bench and took it inside. Right to the hiding place it went where it remains for a more opportune time to open. 🙂 Very lucky that I wasn’t caught on this one. 🙂
    We’ve had some rain. Yay!

  4. I agree with Linda, a little suitcase would be perfect. The outfit with the jumper and hat is adorable!

Dear Jeanne, you have created another lovely outfit. Some little dolly is already cheering.
