~ Colonial Stroll ~ is now listed on Ebay!

Happy Saturday everyone!

I actually answered everyones comments yesterday! Unbelievable!!!

I’m doing a Saturday post to let you know I managed to get Felicity’s dress set listed on Ebay! I did! I really did! I even took outside pictures at two different times during the day; some brighter than the others, but still it was nice to see her outside! In some of them you can see the pretty leaves on a few of our trees, in the background.

About the title…that came from Dorothy in PA and the story line came from Laura… I combined them together to get what I wanted. :o)

If you’d like to see the listing, you can click the picture at the right side bar, or your click HERE.

Ebay has changed the way the listings are… When you first click on the link, you’ll see my dress and a few thumbnail pics on the left side… but if you scroll down about 6 inches past the “sponsored items” you’ll see the full listing with all the pictures…

Here are a few of my favorite pictures…

…and of course, since we were outside, we had to pay the hens a visit… they were pretty curious about her…

Well, I better let you get started on your Saturday to do list!

I will see you Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne

I noticed that you answered everyone’s comments yesterday! It’s been a long time since you’ve had a chance t do that. (And thanks for fixing that one spot where my email address showed instead of just my name.)

Felicity’s ensemble is just lovely, and the outdoor pictures are really nice. I think the colors look richer somehow.

    1. Hi Charlotte,
Well, I answered the comments yesterday, but I think I may have been too late… we’ll see what happens if I answer on a Saturday! :o)
      Thank you Charlotte!

  2. Linda in St. Louis

What a surprise to see a Saturday blog! I’m so glad you were able to get this listed, since Thanksgiving is just not even two weeks away!

You certainly have gotten yourself in quite a dilemma now. How in the world are you going to top this set? The outdoor pictures are just beautiful and I thought the one with the chickens looked so cute and realistic! Good luck with this set, but I really don’t think you will need it!

    1. Yep, it’s really and truly me, Linda! Maybe if I keep up with them as the days goes by, I’ll get them all done!
The hens were quite curious about Felicity. Reuben was inside watching me through the living room window and George said he would not stop barking, so they came out too!
It was beautiful outside yesterday, wasn’t it?
Thanks for your nice compliments on this set!
      Blessings, Jeanne

My favorite photo is the one from the waist up with the lovely trees in the background. Felicity and her outfit are beautiful in that one and it is so realistic. 🙂
I didn’t realize that the chicken run was so secure. Looks great and the chicks so healthy.
Have a nice weekend everyone. 🙂

    1. Hi Joy,
I like that picture too… she looks almost real, doesn’t she?
I got a bid earlier, so I better start breaking the news to her that Thanksgiving better come quickly for her, or she’ll be one disappointed young lady!
The hens have quite a big pen to run around in now. My hubby joined the new hens with the old ones, and after a few days, all seemed okay… no pecking on each other!
      Thanks Joy,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. This outfit is just beautiful! And the name of the outfit and the story are great!
Felicity looks so pretty in it and it is perfect for fall. All those lovely colors together. The hat and reticule are wonderful not too forget that lovely petticoat.
Felicity will certainly feel special as she heads out on her walk to the church – enjoying the beauty of the leaves. 🍁🍂

    1. Thank you Paula,
Our tree leaves turned so quickly and the windy days followed, so there wasn’t much time to enjoy them!
Thank you for your sweet compliments on her set!
She looks radiant in these colors. Now I know why Linda loves her in her brown Christmas dress…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. Marilyn in Colorado

The outdoor pictures really bring Felicity and her new outfit to life. Everyone seems to agree on that. Everything harmonizes.

    1. Thank you Marilyn! The Bradford Pear trees are still holding onto their leaves! I wonder if I could squeeze in one more Autumn dress?
I might have to think fast!!!
      Thanks Marilyn!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  6. Dorothy in PA and the World

Dear Jeanne, thanks for using my suggested title! I try to contribute where I can (laugh). I think the photos are lovely.

Happy Weekend to you and the Sofa Sisters.

    1. Hi Dorothy…
As soon as I read your comment. I KNEW you had the winning title! Thanks so much for your contribution!!!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  7. How are you ever going to make anything better than this set. Every part is so pretty and looks perfect. Your eBay add is such a good one too. Glad it has a bid already👏

    1. Thank you Kathie!
I so appreciate your kind comments about Felicity’s set. I have to admit, when I started it, I never dreamed she would look this pretty in it!
I’m already working on the next one… believe it or not!!
      Blessings, Jeanne
