Tiny 8″ Ten Ping is looking P-R-E-T-T-Y Patriotic in all this red, white and blue!

An update on our Sofa Sister… She has sent 2 messages and said she is in minimal pain and managing it with Tylenol…and her bruising is changing lots of different colors! She said her son is taking very good care of her and her only complaint is a very sore and swollen throat from the tube that was down it. She should get her biopsy results on the 16th! She appreciates the prayers!

I have been preoccupied with a few things going on around here and didn’t get a chance to ask the “master gardener” any questions yet… but I will!

I did find a little time to make a few more pieces for Ten Ping’s 4th of July set!…

She’s gotten a new hat!

I made her another pair of long pants as those first ones seemed too baggy on her… I’m still going to send them along with the winner.. so another doll can have a pair too!

Here was the first pair…a bit too loose to suit me…

Here is the pair I made today… a little more streamlined…

She picked out the bear she wanted… a blue one and then I tied and red and white checked bow around her neck.

I found my little Flags so she got one of those too…

I have one more piece I’d like to make before I call it quits on this set…

I will see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Thanks for the update on our Sofa Sister; I’m glad to hear she is having minimal pain, and continue to keep her in prayer, as well as the biopsy results.

The new slacks do fit a bit better, although the first pair wasn’t really that oversized, I didn’t think.

That little hat is darling!! What a great piece to add to this ensemble! TenPing isn’t going to want to give it up, I’m afraid!!

Oh my goodness, another great set from Jeanne’s Boutique! Each piece is just darling, and that hat tops it off perfectly! You always seem to have the perfect little stuffed animals, and this blue bear is no exception! Both pair of pants are cute!
Another piece to add? What could it be?

So glad to hear that our Sofa Sister is having minimal pain, and I will continue to keep her in my prayers for a good biopsy report.

Dear Jeanne, prayers continue for our Sofa Sister.

Whichever little dolly wins the auction will have to make room in her closet for all of the ensemble pieces you have made.

Love that hat! So cute. And I’m glad you fixed the pants. The new ones look so much cuter with the top. 🙂 With her sweet bear and flag, she’s off to the parade. Or maybe she in in the parade. 🙂 I’m wondering what else Jeanne, has in mind for this set? Maybe another top without a ruffle to go with the shorts and skirt?
Have a doll out for delivery today with the regular mail. Other person looks very alert, so it will be tricky trying to pull off this caper.

Dear Joy, I have every confidence that you pulled this off. Please give us the details!

    Hi Jeanne,
Wow what an adorable outfit. The hat makes it so summery and special… and you are adding more! I wonder what it could be? mmmm
Continued prayers for our sweet sofa sister. I wish I knew her name, but God knows who we are sending prayers up for. I can sympathize with the sore throat after surgery and the waiting on pathology too. May God calm your mind and give you peace as you wait dear sofa sister.
A few days ago, we were picking up my Mother’s Day gift (a new Honda van) (happy dance!) Driving out to the dealer there was such a terrible haze in the sky, hubby and I wondered what was causing it. A day later we heard its smoke from the wildfires in Quebec. The wind is pushing it this way. It is not like Quebec is all that close, the air quality is not good, I feel bad for those that have issues because of it. The fires made me think of Caroline and Joy and how awful it must have been with fire so close to them, yikes!
Sending hugs, hoping everyone is well.
    Ingrid

Thanks Ingrid. The fires were terrible. And we didn’t even know then to wear a mask. They turned off the gas so they could get the fires out further up the line, so we had no heat. To warm up, we sat out on the deck in what would have been sun, but was orange sky raining little bits of ash. Not too smart.

So glad to hear our Sofa Sister is doing well and not experience much pain. Continued prayers for healing and a good report.
This little set is so cool for hot weather. It will be perfect for the 4th of July parade, picnic, and fireworks. Love the little hat with the ruffled edge. Those little bears are so cute. The Dolly Toy Box must have an endless supply of them.

  7. Kathie from Omaha

Such appropriate styles for Ten Ping! The hat is a perfect addition too. I hope you have time to take a pic with her wearing the skirt….it was my favorite combination.😉 Hummmm what else will you add?

Continued prayers for our sofa sister. So glad her pain is manageable and praying that she has a good outcome from her biopsy.

What an adorable little hat. This outfit is totally precious. Can’t imagine what piece might be missing but I’m anxious to find out.

The grandkids are here today and we’re preparing to start working on the dolly pools (one for me and one for Jaiden). These pools are for 18′ dolls so they will be really great for the smaller dolls. I will take pictures as soon as they are completed – hopefully I might have a chance to make some bathing suits otherwise it will be shorts and tops for the grand opening.

Hope you are taking some step by step pics of the pool construction. Would love to see that. 🙂

I never think of that. Thanks for the suggestions. We did the whole addition and never took one work-in-progress photo and I’m so wishing we had.

I keep forgetting to mention this, but all the lace I am getting right now seems to be incredibly stiff. Have any of my sewing sofa sisters noticed this. Lace used to be soft. Any ideas how to soften it up? It’s hard to work with and not terribly flexible.
