Doll Necklaces from my “Favorite” jewelry maker!!

Talk about a crafting DISASTER! That’s what I’m calling my sewing room today! Just wait till you see these pictures. I wish I could blame it all on Rebecca, but it’s not her fault… We have just been digging and looking at things, and she’s got this big bag of alterations and things she needs fixed…some simple, some not so simple… So I’ve had to dig to find things…then there’s all the new stuff she brought me… new paper flowers for hats, doll accessories, felt flowers, appliques, ribbons, leather gloves to cut up for doll shoes, fabric, and LOTS more… you’ll see…

Rebecca brought home A LOT of her beads and findings and has already put some necklaces together for a few of the dolls. This is just a few of her containers with some of her beads… I wish I could open up all the containers and show you how pretty they look.

When she was here back in August, she got the bug to make more necklaces when she got home… These are some she made and brought with her this time… if you see one you like, they are all for sale… $8.00 each and FREE shipping! She told me to let you know IF you see something you like, but want it in a different color, she’ll see what she can do… If you want something you DON’T see, but would like something made, just let her know what you have in mind …as the jeweler is in the house for a few more days! You can either comment below of use the Contact Me tab at the top of this post, and send me an email…

Here are some pictures of some she brought and some she has made here… These all have magnetic clasps…and are glass beads…

This was just a silly picture… she found this mink scarf with 3 different colors of mink sewn together… the girls wanted to model it for you… I’m trying to think what I can do with it…

Here are a few necklaces for the Ruby Red Fashion Friends dolls… you can just slightly pull them apart and put them on your doll’s neck… no clasps for them…

This is the only one she made for the Siblies so far…

So, did you see something you liked? Or something you are hoping for?

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

It looks like you and Rebecca had a fun and productive day in “Jeanne’s workshop”! Doesn’t look like a mess to me–more like WIP (works in progress)!

The necklaces are all lovely. I think my favorite (so far!) is the jade green pearls on Freida. So pretty!!

I was sick overnight, but feel much better tonight. I was able to get flowers to the cemetery today (daddy’s birthday), at least.

Looking forward to more adventures with Rebecca!!

If you could see it here, Jeanne, I have almost the same mess at my house, since I am in the middle of dressing my dolls for Easter! I had to pull out boxes and boxes stored downstairs to find their Easter baskets. I was so tired after finding them, I just left the mess there! The room where I pull out their clothes and put their clothes away from the previous scene, well, let’s just say, it is a complete disaster right now, since nothing is put away!!

I do love those necklaces, and will look over them more carefully later today. Right now, I just scrolled through, and have to think! I need more coffee too!

  3. Looks like a lot of fun to me!! Jeanne, you’re a great organizer so I agree with Charlotte- it’s work in progress.
Ohhh the necklaces- just beautiful. Love the pearl with the diamond!!
Have fun with Rebecca and Karn!

Everyone/ keep safe with all these storms.

Love your mess. Means that creativity is happening! 🙂 Great necklaces.
Sounds like Rebecca will soon have a new wardrobe after the alterations are complete. 🙂
Such a fun and productive visit from your family. Now, how about some visits to thrift stores? 🙂
Around here, I’ve been making carrots. Well felt carrots. Why? Have no idea, but they looked fun and since they are dolly size, don’t take very long. 🙂

I’m glad we’ve seen your sewing room go from mess to perfect before, so we have faith in its future perfection.

As for necklaces, remember when some of us on the doll blogs were hoping for an archaeologist doll? Here are pictures of Egyptian beads https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?hspart=trp&hsimp=yhs-001&grd=1&type=Y61_F163_200477_102720&p=ancient+egyptian+beads

In the Elizabeth Peabody Emerson books, Amelia and Nefret are given some necklaces in Egyptian faience https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?hspart=trp&hsimp=yhs-001&grd=1&type=Y61_F163_200477_102720&p=egyptian+faience

  6. I’m glad I’m not the one having to organize all those items! It makes me tired haha.
I did spy an adorable little gray chair, is it a new one or have you used it before?
I love all of Rebecca’s necklaces, I’ll have to check if I can use one. She’s so talented.

    1. Wow the necklaces are all gone already! Congratulations Rebecca. I should have been faster.

Georgina.

I love it when, my daughters come and look in all the boxes; One looks for buttons, the other for ribbons. My little girl, tells me, that she loves everything in my workshop! And then, it’s true, you have to tidy up; But it’s such a joy to spend time with them. And then the mess is life!!!. Enjoy these precious moments. Friendships since the France. Georgina.

    1. Thank you Georgina,
I couldn’t agree more… the room is a mess, but I’ll get it straightened up later…right now, it’s time to play! And play we ARE! :o)

      1. Oh what fun you are having! The necklaces are all just lovely! Everyone has their own personality, I’m trying to find Easter Dolly pictures too

Several of my dolly girls are wearing necklaces from the Jeanne & Rebecca craft collection. They look so lovely. I know others would like one too so I’m checking out the possibilities. So many lovely things make it hard to make a decision.

I have been having major computer issues the past few days and got a tech to work on it remotely yesterday. He didn’t think he fixed the problems so I made an appointment to take it to the Geek Squad today. After rebooting and trying things out I realize he fixed most things and the one that still doesn’t work (he had bigger fish to fry) is supposed to be an easy fix so I’ll see if I can get an answer online because I just cancelled my appointment. It is pouring down rain and expected to do that all day and driving to Houston in the rain is a no-go if I don’t really need to. One of the things I can’t open is my 2021 Turbo Tax but since I had a hard copy and I’m not doing them myself this year, that, thankfully, isn’t an issue or I would have to tough it out and make the drive. Instead I’m going to hang out in my sewing room today and maybe get on with making my curtains for the windows in the addition. Yay!.
