A little “post-Springfield” decorating…

When Cindy and Tom got back to my house, Cindy helped (well, she pretty much did it all) decorate a few areas of my house that I was struggling with. It was fun to watch her in action and “try” to figure out how her mind works when putting things together. The china cabinet was changed, the top of my blue cabinet in the hallway was, my mantle was reconfigured, and a few other places “spruced” up! :o) I’m happy today!

Next, the fireplace mantle…

This is the top of a narrow blue cabinet in the hallway…I only took a picture of the top because I am still searching for some doors…my towels are all exposed right now.

The other day when Cindy was here, I found this water color picture and hung it back in the sitting room…

Cindy brought this oil painting to me…it too, is in the sitting room…

Rebecca and Karn will be here Monday, so I have plenty to do this weekend!! Hope you have a great one!
See you Monday!
Blessings, Jeanne

Everything in your home looks so lovely, Jeanne! I’m particularly taken with that little Dutch pitcher (I assume it’s Dutch, because of the windmill) with the couple kissing on the front! I like the artwork you have on the walls of your sitting room, too.

I finally have Freida’s dress put together; she is impatiently waiting for me to finish it now–hems, lower edge trim, and snaps are all that remain to do. I promise pictures! Also of Gigi and her bright pink coat! I haven’t forgotten, but it’s been a busy month; in addition to all the other stuff, March was my month to clean the church (which I do with my friend Elizabeth, as Ron isn’t able to do that sort of thing any more). So….SOON!!

Absolutely love the decorating. You have some wonderful pieces. Cindy has a great way of bringing everything together. Wish she would publish a book on how she goes about doing this. The watercolor and oil paintings are a perfect touch as well.
Nice that Rebecca & Karn are heading to your place too. Kind of a spring vacation. I’m sure Reuben will be pleased as well. 🙂
Don’t work too hard, and have a lovely weekend.

Everything looks so coordinated and pretty and warm. When I see the rooms and homes in the latest magazines I just shudder and shiver….they are so plain and cold without cozy inviting spaces like you have. Love the flow blue pieces on the mantle! You and your sisters are a talented group!
I found those cute blue flocked birds at a nice shop near here….but quite a bit more $ so putting them on my list….for maybe Mothers Day🥴
Have fun with the newly weds!

I was looking for the birds also. They have them at Michael’s, mail order, and Wayfair. But, they all appear to be sage green. I like the blue. 🙂

Dear Jeanne, I love how your sister has decorated the spaces. She really does have that special touch.

How wonderful that the newlyweds are coming for a visit.
