There’s a little gloating between Ten Ping and Navi

I was determined to make a pair of tiny silver boots for Ten Ping…and I did!

Trouble was…they didn’t fit her! But faster than a lightening flash, Navi jumped down from the dolly shelf and said, “maybe they’ll fit me!” And they did!

The soles aren’t completely finished, but I will get them finished…

Poor Ten Ping!

I had to do something to lift Ten Ping’s spirits, so we looked for a different wig and put on this sweet little bob.

I’ve already made some adjustments to the boot pattern and cut out a new silver pair.

Stay tuned for them!

We might possibly get several inches of snow this week. That is a good recipe for sewing!!! :o)

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Sounds like a little sisterly rivalry at your house, Jeanne! I’m sure Navi was pleased as punch that those boots fit her; of course, that means that eventually she’ll have to have an outfit to go with them!

Perhaps Ten Ping would feel better if you made a little purse or hat for her, if you are having trouble with boots?

I love Ten Ping’s new “do”, Jeanne! Happy Chinese New Year to her and all of us! So sorry the new shoes did not fit her, but at least Navi has the start of “ something” new! I know you will get everything fixed up and both dollies will be happy! Nothing like a little “sisterly” rivalries to keep things interesting!

It looks like we are in the crosshairs of a winter storm! Just the thing for doing inside activities, like sewing!

Cute boots for Navi. Lucky one. Hope you can make another pair for Ten.
Maybe Jeanne and Linda can load a boxcar with that forthcoming snow and ship it here express? Every bit of moisture helps around here. We’re due for some more winds from the north which does not help the fire danger.
The outfit I’m developing for RRFF Dawn is moving very slowly. She’ll have to celebrate Chinese New Year in her formal attire which is very cute, I might add. Valentine Hanna is supposed to arrive late Thursday. I wonder if Linda is dressing her girls for Valentine’s Day? I’d love to see her pictures. 🙂

Ha, ha, Joy, you bet I am dressing my dolls for ❤️Valentine’s Day!❤️Pictures coming if Jeanne wants them, but don’t expect Jeanne and I to be loading a boxcar of snow for you! I don’t know about Jeanne, but I’m not quite that athletic, especially in snow and ice!

Oh, hope we get to see the photos. 🙂 I can still dream of that load of snow though. 🙂

  4. What cute little girls. I’m sure Navi was so excited to get those cute boots.
Jeanne, you amaze me with your various talents!
Hopefully Ten Ping can get done thing out if the trade. I’m sure she’s generous but maybe disappointed!

  5. P.S. I love Ten Ping’s wig.
Sorry about the mistakes in my wording up there. I keep hitting the wrong letters.

  6. Navi was certainly delighted that the boots fit her. Ten Ping does look disappointed so it’s a good thing you’re making another pair for her. Maybe some Chinese fortune cookies would lift her out of the doldrums. She does look a bit happier in her new hairstyle.

Dear Jeanne, you may have to make “twin” outfits and shoes to make the girls happy.

Happy Black History Month and all of the other February celebrations.

There are several doll conventions coming up this Summer. I am wondering if any of the Sofa Sisters are planning to attention some of them. I probably won’t be able to.
