I’ve gathered the fabrics for the next doll dress…

At first, I thought I’d just show you the fabrics for the next doll dress…

I’m not sure I’ll use ALL of them, but I’m going to try…

They go so well together… pretty blues and beige/tans…

But then I found some time after dinner and managed to cut the main parts out…

I’m sure you can guess who’s up next… :o)

If you aren’t sure, tune in Monday to find out… I hope to find some sewing time over the weekend…

If you need a sweet dress for your My Meadow, Dumpling doll, don’t forget… I have one listed on Ebay. It ends Sunday evening, so I may send out a reminder…

Here’s the link to the listing if you missed it…

~ Fall is in the Air ~

See you Monday,
Have a wonderful Weekend,

Well, it looks to me like Kirsten might be next–blue is really her color, you know!! Will have to wait and see, I guess!!

  2. Yes, Kirsten, Jeanne! Not only is blue her color, but her dresses usually use several different fabrics in the mx. The neckline is another telling clue. How pretty she is going to look!

Fall has arrived, for sure with this cool weather we are having! Love it!

    1. Hi Linda,
Yep, it’s for Kirstem…I’m sire she “could” wear other colors, but she just looks SO pretty in those blues!!
I am LOVING the weather today. It was the first day of me wearing a sweater! It felt wonderful!!
      Thanks Linda,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. What a sweet fall outfit. I love the name- β€œ Fall is in the Air.” Your pictures and set ups are really cute.

    I’m guessing Kirsten too.

    1. Hi Paula,
You guessed right too! It’s for Kirsten!!! She is excited to get to model again!
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

Dear Jeanne, I vote for Kirsten also!

I love the colors you have chosen. The fabrics are so pretty.

    1. Thank you Dorothy
      I guess I’m too predictable…at least with Kirsten…
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. Speaks of Kirsten! Going to be adorable. However, I would love to see a dress with similar multiple fabrics in a smaller size for Bailey. Maybe there will be scraps? She would look so pretty in the blues. πŸ™‚
Been playing fix the computer game around here. First, my built in camera card reader and sound wouldn’t work. After much time and effort discovered that Windows updates knocked them both out. Got them fixed only to have the same problem with the card reader upon the next update. Woe is me. Fixed it again, but don’t know if the update from yesterday may have messed it up in yet another way. πŸ™ Then, other person’s computer wouldn’t print. Went to work on that and found that Adobe Reader/Acrobat needed updating. Did that and now it’s working. πŸ™‚ Might seem trivial to younger folk, but to those who didn’t grow up with computers, quite a feat. But, such a time waster. Anyone else ever have problems with Windows updates?
Anyhow, need to rearrange and hide stuff as daughter is coming up next weekend and will be spending the night in the “guest” aka doll room. She doesn’t like seeing all of those eyes! It’s her big 20th reunion.
Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful fall weekend.

    1. Hi Joy,
Thanks such for the suggestion of a Dumpling dress in a dirndl style…I might have to try one… :o)
I feel your pain!! I’m about as computer illiterate as they come. My kids on the other hand, can pretty much look at a phone screen or my desktop and tell me what’s wrong just by looking at it. I could only wish for this talent!!
I hope you get your doll room straightened up before your daughter gets there… I’m guessing she has absolutely zero interest in your dolls? What a shame she can’t share the joy with you! (no pun intended!)

  6. I was hoping for Molly. The consensus is Kirsten. THAT made me think quilt. Those fabrics would make a beautiful little pieced quilt top!

    1. Hi Julia,
I seriously almost picked Molly. Bu I got a glimpse of Kirsten in the back row, and she won out.
It’s fun to pick one fabric from my stash and see how many others can go with it!
I hope you’ll like it when it’s done.
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  7. I recognized Kirsten right away. Fall means the annual Air Show at Huntington Beach Pier, and although I live ten miles back from the beach, the Naval Air Station out of which they fly is within a couple of miles, so for four days, planes flying low and loud over my house. At other times, they are too high to even hear or almost to see them.

    1. Hi Susette,
I figured most people would have guessed her…especially when I cut out the pieces. I hope I can make it like I envision in my mjnd…

My hubby likes to go to air shows. We have them every so often around here…
      Thanks Susette!
      Blessings, Jeanne

      1. Does George know about flightradar24.com ? You can track any plane coming over and figure out where they are going or coming from. It is so fun. It is interesting at smaller airports, but when you get to the big ones, it is crazy. Amazing though. We had one come over pretty low the other day, and it was interesting to see that it was coming into our small CA airport from Minneapolis.

        1. HI Joy,
I can assure you, my hubby knows nothing of this… but I’ll tell him about it.
          Thanks, Jeanne

  8. Love it when you put all different colors and prints together! Those will be a knock out!
Her hair and eyes …and those fabrics…can’t wait!

    1. Thanks Kathie,
I hope it turns out as pretty as the fabric laying there look…
      Blessings, Jeanne

    1. HI Marilyn,
Great to see you on here again… I DID find some sewing time this weekend… You’ll see tomorrow what I accomplished!
