I hope you don’t mind seeing MORE Easter Doll Dresses…

I’m so glad you enjoyed seeing some of my previous Easter dresses for lots of different dolls. I certainly have made every style for every kind of doll!

I wanted to tell Linda, yes, the fabric used for Molly’s dress, the blue floral, is the blue version of that fabric. I don’t know if you noticed, but Elin, in the very first set of pictures, is wearing the pink version… and then my latest dress for Kate was the yellow version. I LOVE those fabrics and am out of the blue but have a little yellow and pink left.

Pink…

Blue…

Yellow…

I certainly have used those fabrics for many of my dresses in the past and will continue to until I run out… that will be a sad day!

Barbara asked if I still had my Wellie Wisher, Willa… Well, I sold her and she was given to someone. But I did find Emerson at a thrift store and gave her those new brown eyes. I haven’t made anything for her, and may sell her, but for now, she’s standing right there beside the other dolls. :o)

Okay, we better get started with today’s Easter Parade… I have some real oldies today… some from a very long time ago… I hope you can see I have improved on my sewing and my picture taking.

First up is Eden, in “Easter Charm” but there were SO many details on the dress set, I’m showing 7 pictures so you can see EVERYTHING!

This doesn’t look too much like an Easter dress, but I have it down as one from 2019! Kathie sent me that piece of lace used for her apron.

This was Ten Ping’s Easter dress in 2019.

Here is Molly in her pink and white checked Easter dress.

It’s Kit’s turn at her Easter modeling…

Here is Snow White Riley Kish and Snowboard Riley Kish in their Easter dresses from I don’t know when… :o)

Here is Riley again in another Easter set…

Well, that will have to be it for today…

I will see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Thanks for showing us the three colorways of that floral fabric. I think I like the pink one best

Wow, there really were a Lot of details in Eden’s ensemble! Her hat is wonderful, and I just love the little purse!

It was hard to choose a favorite, but I think maybe Riley’s last outfit–it’s so cute, and so cheerful!!

Jeanne, thank you for clearing up what I thought about those fabrics! They all are beautiful in their own way, and I can honestly say that I have no favorite, just all three are so pretty! Molly looks so sweet in her dress!

Eden’s little purse, Kirsten’s gorgeous navy and lace outfit, and Ten Ping’s darling Easter dress, are my absolute favorites! Can you do duplicates……..for free?😊. Just kidding!

I don’t recall that sweet felt bonnet that Molly is wearing at all! That would look perfect for some historical dolls, like Addy and Kirsten. Another sweet dress is the one that Snow White Riley is wearing, with the bunnies on pink. Betsy would love that!

Thank you so much for reminding us what a wonderful seamstress you are!

It must be so rewarding to think of all the dresses you’ve made that are on dolls in their Easter finery across the country this year and every Easter 🐣 forever. Thanks for reminding us of so many of them. It’s fun to see them again all in one place, especially for new blog followers. I’m sure there are even more.

I have enjoyed all the Easter photos in the last few days, just really busy with sewing orders and church activities. Yesterday was the only day this week we didn’t have to go somewhere so I used the time!
Jeanne, I never tire of seeing your lovely outfits, thank you for sharing. I am praying that your thumb will be healed very soon.
A blessed Easter to you all!

Well, it’s lottery day for dresses with special embellishments. So many great ideas here. In particular, Molly’s pink/white checked outfit has everything I like. The perfect fabric, sleeves that aren’t overly puffy, embroidery accents on the sweet collar and on the buttons, and that vest that matches perfectly too. Did I mention the hat? It gets a double wow, wow, from me. I remember another you made more recently, but this one in white is perfection. Love how the front scallops pop out and have amazing cutting. How do you do that? And the simple pink trim and single flower are perfect additions. Okay enough on this dress, but I really love everything about it. 🙂 I also like Eden’s fab purse which might also go with Molly’s great dress. It would definitely go with the cute hat as well. Here I am mixing and matching, but there are so many cute things. Kirsten, as always, is also an Easter parade hit. Love the navy and beautiful lace sent by Kathie too.
So glad to see all of the outfits today. Makes me happy, but also bothers me that I just cut out a little pink dress yesterday to go with the bunny ears I made last year. Well, maybe next year both will be able to be displayed together. 🙂

I’ll be anxiously awaiting the joining of your two sewing endeavors next year. Your comment made me laugh – it also hit close to home. Been there myself a few times.

I had not seen many of these beautiful outfits before. They are absolutely breathtaking. Really do enjoy the fashion shows.

All my girls are dressed for the Easter parade with the exception of about four that I still need to make something seasonal for them. I’m worn out. I told the girls that next time we do this I will lay out the clothes but they will be responsible for helping each other dress. I definitely heard a room full of gasps and saw many jaws drop. But then I think I heard sighs of relief when they realized I was only joking. They know me too well.

I can just see what transpires if your girls are left to fend for themselves. You know, nothing matches, two different shoes etc. Glad that you will be there to help them in the end. 🙂 I would love to see your Easter parade pics.

  7. I remember all of those dresses up until Kit’s. I don’t recall Kit’s or the ones that follow hers.
Love Eden’s sweet dress and that darling bonnet. I also loved Kirsten’s, so pretty with the lace Kathie sent.
Molly’s flower bonnet is adorable. Like Joy, I would love to know how that one was made, please.

  8. Oh my goodness.

Karen, I am just in awe of the beauty. The dresses and the girls that are wearing them are all so adorable. Your handywork of course it top notch!!
    Easter Blessings
