~ Easter Charm ~ for American Girl, Molly, is now listed on Ebay…

Molly is SO excited to see herself on the big computer screen. Yep… I did it! I managed to get her dress set listed on Ebay this evening. Of course, my poor hubby had to fend for himself when it came to dinner. He’s used to that look when he comes back to the computer area and I’m sitting there frantically typing away. He gets that “look” from me and just turns around and usually starts his own dinner. It doesn’t happen like this ALL the time, but it never fails… he gets home from a job right when I’m trying to get my listing finished and hears this… “I’m almost done… a few more minutes… I’ll be done in just a bit!” Those are the most common phrases coming from me.

Well, he’s happy now… he found some chocolate ice cream in the freezer!

I’m happy now, because I got the dress set finished, some new pictures taken, edited, and then listed on Ebay… YAY!

If you want to see it, you can click the picture at the right side bar or you can click HERE.

I finished the loops on the end of the elastic cording…

I removed the tacked stitches on the back of the collar and flattened it out just a bit so it lays somewhat more flat to Molly’s shoulders. This way, it doesn’t stick up in her chin, as Joy pointed out… I think it’s better…

I made new anklets…

Made an over sized hair bow with a snap clip on back…

AND added the candy to match this set… YUMMY!!

If you want to see all the pictures, I hope you’ll take a peek at the listing… It would make Molly’s day! :o)

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Everything is just lovely, Jeanne. The new anklets are a nice finishing touch to the outfit. If my Molly didn’t already have such a huge wardrobe, I’d really be tempted–although, when I think about it, April Eleanore might be the one to end up wearing it, as she likes pastel colors, while my Molly’s favorite color is RED!! (When I first got her, I made her a lavender print Easter dress. She wore it once and then reminded me, “lavender is Your favorite color, mommy, not mine!” 😂 April Eleanore has that dress now, and just loves it. I haven’t tried to talk Molly into lavender since then!)

These dolly girls do have minds of their own and somehow seem to convey it – not sure exactly how but they do. Some of my girls like pink and others hide when I mention it. Some like frilly things and others say no way and are more into classic lines and sporty wearing attire. I’m guessing Molly is the AG Molly but who is April Eleanore? I love her name but not sure what she looks like.

April Eleanore is a modern girl that I bought at our AG store when we still had one. She has wavy blond hair and green eyes. Thanks for asking.

Could Molly be any cuter than this? This a perfectly adorable set that any Molly lover or really anyone who has a doll would love! The bow is perfect, with the two sided look, and Molly looks so happy in this darling outfit, Jeanne!

The cute anklets just add to everything good! And the candy!! What’s not to like??

Oh yes, now it’s perfect. I should keep my trap shut, but I can’t help it. I do like how the collar looks now and that blue bow is lovely under it. I’m impressed by the two fabric bow which is so perfect worn by Molly or any of the AG clan. Molly’s sweet little fancy socks are a delightful addition too. Now, she’s ready for Spring, Easter, or even attending that end of school special picnic. I do hope one of those on Jeanne’s blog is able to snag this set so we can see it again soon. It’s my very favorite. 🙂
And our new highspeed internet is roaring. It took other person three calls to sonic, but adding my devices was a piece of cake. So nice not to be cut off or have a crawling connection. Yay!

Congratulations on your high speed internet. When we moved to Sealy almost 35 years ago it was pretty much in the early days of internet and we could only get dial-up out here for years until the businesses started complaining. It is a relief to not be in the middle of a long e-mail only to lose the connection and everything I just typed. I still out of the paranoia I developed back then copy things before I send them if they are long.

We too started with dial up. Seems like so long ago. But, love the speed now. Wow, what a difference. )

  4. Each item of this outfit is perfect – from the petticoat outwards, upwards and downwards! Your creativity is inspiring – using the buttons and bow on an elastic cord – who would have thought of that?!

Molly always seems to come off as adorable whatever you make for her. This outfit is so pristine looking and every piece of it is absolutely perfect. I loved the way you did the bow and her socks are very nice. I have that elastic in several colors and use it for headbands when I’m feeling too lazy to make anything else. This outfit is surely a winner.

  6. Such a sweet outfit and I love the oversized bow made from the same fabrics as the dress. That’s a style I always like. Blue, yellow, and white together are perfect. Those lacy socks are a must.

Dear Jeanne, the outfit is adorable. I am sure the dolly who receives it will be happy and her Mama will be happy with the chocolate gift.
