Flip Flop… Time to Shop!

Great news, if you haven’t seen it already… I was able to list Sydney’s brown and red “Monkey Business” dress on Ebay… I managed somehow to find an old URL address for the software program I use to make my listings on Ebay. I’ve been using it since 1999 and the one time I go to list Sydney’s dress, they decided to change things up. It was a whole new way of doing things and was going to take me a long time to figure out how to do things the new way. I had to figure out a way to get into the old program, which they said you could use if you still wanted to… the problem was, none of their links were working for the old program… but I persevered and got things working… just in time, to get her dress listed on Ebay, Saturday evening. It ends Thursday evening. If you want to check out the Ebay listing, you can click on the picture of Sydney at the right side bar, or you can click HERE.

I received a sweet picture from Joy and she emailed this…

Well, here are my two new girls from Rose Lacefield -RoseBB Flockling. Winnie on the left and Remmie Raindrop on the right. These girls are much smaller than the RRFF Siblies. The silver shoes belong to the Siblies here as a comparison to their tiny feet. Here are my first pair of boots for the girls. What do you think? Probably for the Christmas season, but I wanted to share. They are pretty tiny. I actually reduced a pattern from Wren Feather’s Sew Along to fit them. Of course, Remmie wants a pair as well. We’ll see if my eyes can take micro sewing again. 🙂
Joy

I think your boots are very cute Joy… You need to set a penny or a quarter beside them so we can see JUST HOW SMALL they really are. Those feet on Remmie look teeny tiny… almost like Navi’s feet! But great job on the boots… have you gotten that second pair made yet?
Your dolls look like my Millie, by Kaye Wiggs… she was the skinniest doll I had ever seen, but your two might have her beat!

I ALSO know a thing or two about making tiny shoes… the ones I’m going to show you are tiny but not THAT tiny… Yep, it’s the day I’m listing my FLIP FLOPS for the Ruby Red Fashion Friends Siblies 12″ dolls. (For dolls like my Sydney, I just received!) See I told you I’ve been busy… every spare moment I’ve had, I’ve been cutting out soles and gluing elastic cords to the ribbons and doing lots of things like that. I have a dozen pairs of flip flops and sandals listed in my Etsy shop now… You can take a peek by clicking the link below…

Jeanne’s Etsy Shop

Here are 10 pair of Flip Flops/sandals and I’ve made 2 more as well. 2 pairs are discounted because they didn’t meet my standards…
There are also a few pair left for the 13″ Dianna Effner dolls… so make sure you read which shoes are for which dolls…

Have fun shopping!

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Congrats on getting Sydnie’s outfit listed, Jeanne! I knew you’d be able to figure out a way. And I see it has one bid already!! Yay!!

Joy, thanks for sharing your picture. They certainly are “petite” dolls, and such tiny feet! The boots turned our really cute, and would wokr with Valentine and patriotic outfits, too, I would think! I’m glad you put the Siblies’ shoes next to them, for comparison. Although I don’t have a Siblie (YET–I think Minnie might be calling my name!), I can imagine their size from comparing to the RR’s size.

Yay for Jeanne’s Etsy shop! Let the shopping begin!

Goodness sakes, talk about tiny! AG dolls are tiny enough for me! Just wondering, Jeanne, do you wear glasses to do all this tiny stuff? I have never seen you in glasses, but maybe you do use them to sew! I actually see better without glasses, actually don’t really wear them, except for distance driving, but now threading a needle is getting quite challenging!

Joy, you certainly do tiny things well! You must have slender fingers, which I do not!

Glad to hear your Etsy shopp is now adding all those darling sandals and flip flops, Jeanne!

Had to laugh when you mentioned slender fingers. Ha ha. Not me. Big hands and big feet as well. 🙂 Linda, you too can make a pair of boots/slippers for your AG girls. With the free pattern from the sew along and a felt square, you’re all set. The AG size can be done on the machine as well. You should try it. Felt is so easy to work with. Some of your girls could have fun holiday slippers. 🙂

Wren Feathers annual Sew Along. She does the sew along and posts patterns weekly. Then those participating make the outfit and post photos. It is over for this year, but you can still view her blog and get the pattern.

So glad Jeanne’s Etsy shop is open for business. A pair of Siblie sandals for the boys are now heading this way. 🙂
I cut out another pair of boots for my Rose BBFlockling girls. I plan to use them for the holidays with red/white striped socks. The girls are elf like. 🙂 And I finally finished the top for the 4th of July for the RRFF kids. Definitely behind here. Ha ha. Not like Jeanne, who can whip out an outfit in no time at all. 🙂
And on to another lovely summer day. 🙂

  4. It’s a shoe Monday☺️ Joy your boots are just darling…they fit that tiny foot so well! Ice job….how many tries did it take to get them right?☺️ Tiny Remmie and Winnie are a darling pair.
Jeanne you are a machine…how you can do those so quickly is amazing! Hope your Etsy shop will be very busy. Your listing looks great.
Have a wonderful summer week. It will be a hot one here all week.

  5. I love the photo of Winnie and Remmie! I also have a Winnie and Remmie! 🙂 Oh dear, they want me to try making shoes for them… The flipflops for the sibbies are wonderful, unfortunately, I don’t have one…yet. 🙂

What adorable wee ones you have, Joy. Cute as can be and the outfits are adorable. You did a great job on the boots! Thanks for the link. Must check that out.

Jeanne, I love all the cute shoes – as was proven because I bought a couple pair before I commented today.
