I’ve got to move….

…things out of my sewing room, because MY FLOORING CAME IN YESTERDAY!! I’m almost in shock…I had practically given up and was moving on to other things, but now it’s time to get all the things I still had in my sewing room moved out.

I was working on this…

but now I think I’ll be busy doing flooring…

I’m going to take off Saturday and even Monday so I can keep working and hopefully be finished by Tuesday…
Since Father’s Day is Sunday, I’ll be busy with “hubby” things.

Well, I’ve got some moving to do, so I better go…this is what’s left…

Getting ready to put the floor down has me cramming all the little things I still have out into every box and container I can find.

I’ll have to finish clearing out everything in the morning…

See you Tuesday,
Blessings, Jeanne

Woohoo!! Happy Dance!!! So glad you didn’t have to wait any longer, Jeanne!! (Now I just hope you can find all those “little things” that you crammed into wherever they would fit, before you actually need them!!

So, yes, take that extra day off. We know you’ll be working hard, not really a day off at all, but enjoying the look of your pretty new floor as it gets finished!

  2. Oh wonderful, Jeanne! I am SO happy for you, and now you can start planning again on what dolls you are going to be sewing for as you lay those beautiful boards! You have been more than patient while waiting, and deserve more than a day off! We will be here when you return, and tell George to have as good a Father’s Day as possible!

  3. So glad you’re doing the happy dance and hope it will be on the new floor soon. How exciting that it has finally arrived. Please take care of yourself too. Don’t want any accidents or sprains. Hope you can take some pictures of the progress. So excited for you.

  4. Yay! You must be so happy!! I’m sure you got a second wind anticipating your almost installed flooring after this long wait!
God speed as you continue your project!

  5. Great news!! I’ll be anxiously awaiting your finished sewing studio. We’ll be here when you finish. Take whatever time you need. I’m finally getting to things that I haven’t for months and now my guest room (except for a few things I need to find places for) looks great. A vast improvement from over the past few months when it was full of stuff to go to Goodwill. Unfortunately in my tidying up I found a few other things to go to Goodwill. They weren’t actually hiding out and I don’t know how I missed them. I know putting down the flooring can’t be any fun, but having your new room looking so lovely will be over the moon.

Dear Jeanne, I can’t wait for the “Ta-Da” on Tuesday.

Happy flooring! Happy Fathers Day to your husband.

  7. Hooray for your flooring, Jeanne! So happy that final piece has arrived! Be safe installing–you don’t want George to reinjure himself, or you to hurt yourself. I can’t wait to see the results! All this organizing has me itching to work on my own spaces (I have lived in this house for 30+ years, so there is a LOT to be done!), but I have been busy gardening–my first ever “real” garden–and I get so excited to just putter around in it. We have a 10×10 space, and a lot of things planted in there that are finally beginning to grow and sprout! We have such a horrible deer problem (they eat my day lilies every year) that the garden is enclosed in a fenced dog enclosure (hence the 10×10 space–trying to defeat the deer). Plus, hubby is in grad school (long story), and I am helping with his homework. Whew!

  8. Super news. This is going to be a chore, but the result will be wonderful and last for years.

  9. Fantastic! Your room is going to look great.

Putting down the flooring is a huge task best to take your time and not worry about finishing it all in one day. Hope George is recovering and feeling better.

    Happy Father’s Day to him.

?….do any of you ladies have a blog I can visit? Would love to see what you post.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the dads of their spouses “doll children.” Dolls need dads, and godfathers, and uncles too.
