After a rocky set of instructions on day one (my fault for not thinking things through all the way) surely this will be pretty easy. You all were asked to pick your favorite doll dress of 2019 on Friday and then look at the dresses on Saturday and pick your favorite there. There were actually 34, not 35… I duplicated one.
There were lots of different likes, but 2 clear winners stood out… I’ll show them below and you’ll have to VOTE FOR THE ONE that you think should be the TOP Doll Dress of the Year for 2019!
On Friday the Big winner was Addy’s Blue and Yellow dress, “Cookies from Addy.” It received 8 votes!
On Saturday the BIG winner was Molly’s “Waiting for Christmas” dress. It received 6 votes!

What a tough decision! Especially since I do have Molly, and she does love red!
However, I’ll stick with my previous choice, Addy’s gray/yellow dress. I’s just perfect for here!
Thank you, Ali, for your kind words and concern (yesterday’s blog). I’ve been kind of surprised at how tired I’ve felt the last couple of days–two naps yesterday and one today! I have finally learned to listen to my body (most of the time, anyway! LOL) when I get tired, and not push too hard.
Ron did much better today–still napping, but seemed more perky and in a better mood, generally. I took a nap, too, but also got some things done that needed doing. He wants to try to go to church tomorrow, so I may skip teaching SS (I warned the pastor I might) so that I can take him–he’s not allowed to drive until he sees the cardiologist again on Tues., and I wouldn’t have enough time between SS and church to run home and get him!

Hard choice indeed! Well, I guess I will vote for Molly”s Waiting for Christmas, since Molly is my favorite and I love dressing her. I do understand we are supposed to vote for the DRESS, not the doll, but it’s hard to separate the two! They both are lovely, Jeanne, and all I can say, is they both deserve it!
Oh Jeanne, am I tired! Our son, wife and 3 boys are here from Colorado, and we have been running around all day! Today we go to see the Arch. If there is any time I feel my age, it is now!

Voting for Molly Waiting, although I really like Molly in pink from day one. 🙂 Guess you might say, I like the simpler look of 40’s and 50’s for my doll girls.

I have to say after all of those beautiful outfits, and choosing 2 of Addy’s dresses yesterday, I can’t help but go with Molly’s Waiting for Christmas today. . It’s just so sweet, a pretty plaid and the white accent is so crisp looking. I love both the Addy dresses but will go with Molly’s adorable dress.
You probably worked the hardest on Addy’s, and it is so perfect for the era, but Molly’s “Waiting for Christmas” is my pick. (Was it because I had a similar dress and it brought back good memories?????)

I noticed Deb’s Adorables is back. She has great prices on Wellie Wisher clothes. Feel I may need some help keeping up with my WW Camille and my two Fashion Friends, since I have to sew for others also.
