My tiniest Fall model… Navi, by My Meadow!

I finally finished everything for Navi’s latest dress set and want to get it listed on Ebay Thursday evening. I might even put a Buy It Now on the set, because I wasn’t able to get it finished any earlier. I’m going to call this one “Festive For Fall.”

There are 10 pieces included in this listing… the dress, jacket, thigh highs, panties, slip, hair bow, kitty ears, shoes, leaves and Candy Corn.

I redid the kitty ears and think I came up with a better looking pair. I did a little embroidery work on them and added an elastic loop on one end of the headband and a button on the other end. It’s pretty easy to put on the doll now.

Here they were before…

…and now…

It was very windy today and I couldn’t get any pictures taken outside. Poor Navi would have blown away… so I ended up taking my pictures in my sewing room. I think they’ll do fine for the Ebay listing. I won’t show you all of them, but here are a few…

Navi is excited to do a little modeling again and here she is playing Vannah, showing off the Candy Corn…

I scattered a few leaves on the ground and sat Navi in the middle of them. She is such a little sweetheart. I wish everyone had one of her! :o)

I have to make cookies Thursday for a student group on Friday, so I’m hoping against all hope to get this set listed on Ebay tonight. Watch for the picture at the right side bar to see when it becomes active on Ebay.

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

This outfit turned out so cute! I love how you did the headband, so it fastens with a button and loop underneath. Better than elastic, which could be tricky if the doll has a wig that isn’t glued in place!! Someone will have a lot of fun with all the options you provided!!

    1. Thanks Charlotte,
Navi was thrilled that she finally gets to show off her modeling style to everyone who sees her on Ebay. She really is so much fun to pose…and sew for!!!
The dress set will be on Ebay a little after 8:30 tonight.
Thank you for your kind compliments, Charlotte,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. Love it, Jeanne! Those redone ears are just perfect! No more mouse ears! The whole outfit is the perfect things for fall! That was genius the way your fixed the headband to make it easier to put on. I love the picture of her sitting on the pile of leaves! What a cute fall decoration that makes!

Talk about windy! Yesterday on our trek to KC, it was hard to keep the car from blowing sideways! Good thing Michael was driving! Everything was so perfectly displayed in the store, and I did buy a few little things, WW Christmas pj”s for Betsy, some mix and match things but wanted mostly to actually see the new things that came out in the last release, and to get maybe later. A few things I did observe, Rebecca’s new nightgown is just precious, and Maryellen’s new pink dress was beautiful! Rebecca’s new Sabbath set is exquisite, although pricey. And oh, Maryellen’s new diner is the CUTEST thing! Real china dinner plates, a real phone, a malt maker, and just everything so realistic. Not coming here though, no room, but I loved it!

    1. Thanks Linda,
I’m glad you like how it all turned out. Me too!
I hope the winner enjoys dumping the bag of leaves out and letting their doll play in them!

It sounds like we had the same wind as you did… today it was much cooler…snow with the rain forecast for Saturday we are trying to decide if we should move it to Sunday night…
They are going to make a decision tomorrow.
      Thanks Linda,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. Well turning off the power did not prevent another fire. Big fire to the north is already at 10,000 acres. Near my cousins ranch. Hoping they can contain it soon. We’re still in the dark but the new Honda generator is keeping the refrigerator humming. Other person had his hot tea from the coffee machine too. Just enough power to run a couple of things.
Navi looks sweet. Hard to believe that Halloween will soon arrive.

    1. Hi Joy
I’m glad you have your new Lolla to occupy your time while the power is off…
I hope your cousin’s ranch doesn’t become a fire casuality… how awful for all you Californians!! Stay safe…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. I didn’t think the ears could get any cuter, but they did. And the method of fastening the headband is great. What a wonderful ensemble it turned to be. If I had a Twinkle I would have to bid on this outfit for her. I really can’t do the small stuff anymore.

I think I’m going to head into Houston to the AG store tomorrow afternoon to view all the goodies Linda D. is talking about. Then I’ll make my way back west stopping at Hobby Lobby, JoAnn’s, Buttons and Bows (my favorite quilting/smocking store), and then stop for a massage at Bamboo Massage. Bamboo Massage does a Chinese backrub so you don’t have to have an appointment or get undressed. I select the half hour massage. It’s convenient, quick and feels so good.

I’m trying to figure out where Susette lives when not in California. She mentioned the winds and it sounded like around here when a front comes through. I do unplug my blow-ups when the strong winds are coming. They are on a timer and are only inflated during the evening and then they deflate overnight and during the day. If I know winds are coming I keep them deflated otherwise they would be torn to shreds. They can be a pain at times but the grandkids always loved them. They used to live next door. Now that they’ve moved I still put them up and probably will until they wear out. Susette asked for pictures. I sent some last year when I had everything up. A link to that maybe?

Lolla Rose now has eyes. Beautiful brown ones. She is so cute. Today I will start making some clothes for her and then send pictures. I couldn’t find the silicone ear plugs at Wal-mart, Tractor City or Ace so I came home figuring I would order them online. It said they could be found at Walgreen’s so when we went to supper last night I stopped there and found them immediately. Her eyes are so small but I think I got them right. Scared myself half to death when I took her head off and was having trouble getting it back on. I think I was trying too hard. I hope Joy sends pictures of her Lolla.

    1. Hi Barbara,
I actually thought the Lolla dolls were the same size as Navi…but I’m guessing they must between 6″ Navi and 11″ Bailey.

You’ll certainly need a massage after your day of shopping. I hope you find lots of bargains and fun stuff for your dolls.

Oh, I love a pretty little brown eyed doll… I bet you are swooning.

Send pictures of your Lolla too! Then I’ll have 2 to share…
      Blessings, Jeanne

      1. The Lolla I just received is a Dumpling 11″. She was a preorder from awhile back. I love her coloring. 🙂 I believe that she was also made as a Twinkle too. No girls inbetween as of yet by Meadow. So happy to have the power back. 🙂

  5. That turned out so cute! I think winning a 10 piece outfit would make it so much fun!
Whoever opens it will just have all kinds of fun dressing their doll and setting up a fall scene. The kitty ears are my favorite. Thanks for the apple cake recipe…. making it tomorrow🤗

    1. Hi Kathie,
I sure hope the winner feels that way…I would think 10 pieces would be a thrill to open.

Kristoffer just sent me a picture of his cake and said, “It’s outstanding! So good! I’ve just had 3 pieces!”

I hope you like it too…he’s taking a piece to a friend at work tomorrow. He asked Kristoffer what’s the big deal over an apple cake? Kristoffer can’t wait for him to taste it.

      Thanks Kathie,
      Blessings, Jeanne
