We have a winner for the Black Sweater!

Happy Saturday everyone,
Joy, I hope you are warmer today…and I hope none of your plants got too cold to recover!
Paula, I hope your new brace is much better than the cast… and try not to fall into any more rivers when riding horses…
Charlotte, I hope you love how your new purse turned out…
Sissy, I hope you are making some headway on selling your Kish girls… (please let us know where they are, if you can)… and yes, I did get your email, and let you know, but maybe you didn’t see it…
Sylvia, I’m glad you think my pink coat set is cute, and I’m agreeing with you… hoping it does well!
Linda, I’m glad you enjoyed Paula’s video of her She Shed so much! Wasn’t it great?
Angela, I’m with you… that view off the balcony in Paula’s video was wonderful wasn’t it? I’d be doing puzzles all the time!
Rosemary, Yes, I did receive your email about your address…and I hope you had fun at your old house… and didn’t work “too” hard!
Anne, Thank you again, VERY much for all your time knitting all those sweaters for us!
Laura, you and me and Angela and Paula can pretend to all sit on Paula’s balcony and work on a puzzle together or just drink lemonade! :o)
Dena, I saved you for last… YOU WON THE SWEATER!!! Congratulations… I already have your address so I’ll send it out to you ASAP

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
See you Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne

Congratulations, Dena, on winning that sweater! Enjoy!

Paula, I realized tonight, I forgot to comment on your video last night. Your she-shed is really lovely, and the two things I particularly noticed were the tiny tea set and your bears–several of them are by Boyds, I’m pretty sure. I have a few, also, and really love them.

I enjoyed reading all of your horse-riding adventures. I have been on a horse exactly once, when, in the early days of our marriage, we went to the ocean for a few days. I decided I wanted to try riding a horse (there was someone there with a few horses to rent and ride), so I did. What an experience! I was petrified. Just too high off the ground for me. (I don’t do well with heights,) But I’m sure Ron got a few pictures, anyway! From now on, I’ll stick to the ground!

    1. Good morning Charlotte.
I hope we get to see the purse that you finished. I remember ones you did in the past some of the items you’ve sold and it’s always fun to see them. since I don’t sew I really appreciate anyone who can sew such great creations.

I can understand how being high on a horse is a bit scary.
Even though I was taught how to ride a horse, it just bothers me that their bodies have to hold us while climbing hills or wherever it is we ride them
Horses are just special animals. I love them.

Congratulations, Dena! You will love that sweater and maybe send a picture of you doll wearing it!

  3. Congrats you Dena! I’m sure the dolly who gets it will be very happy.

I would like to have any of you girls come and visit me on the balcony to work on a puzzle. right now I’m doing a puzzle called “ Shop by Eiffel.”
it has a little coffee shop on the corner of the street or river that faces the Eiffel Tower. Some of my puzzles are so beautiful – I frame them – which is a job within itself- and I’ll put the winter ones up at Christmas time and some of the other ones I just like to put in other areas of our house.
    Everyone have a nice weekend!

  4. Thank you for all of the congratulations from everybody. I’m waiting for the doll to arrive who wear it. She’s one of the ones that Susette had. I’ll take a picture of her wearing the sweater and figure out how to send it to Jeanne so she can post it. Thank you, Anne, for making the sweater. I knit and appreciate how much work went into it.
