One final day of this years costumes!

Hi everyone,
I received a few extra pictures from Joy and thought I’d finish up this week with them. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them. Joy’s family certainly is creative…ALL of them!!!

It’s all yours, Joy!!

I just received these pics from daughter and grands. No need to use, but I thought you’d get a kick out of seeing them as the kids look so old now. Brings back memories when they were so little. Oldest grand, Bennett on the left in the family pic is now almost 16 and is driving. The family went as Mario theme this year. Those costumes are pretty neat. They don’t make their own. Can you spot their kitties? Middle grands school friend group went as party animals. Grand is in the blue tutu in the middle.

I had to show you this pic of youngest grand. He and a friend went as Banana Cops. This is 5th grade boy mentality. Grand made it up. I got a laugh out of it.

Very fun Joy!! Thanks SO much for giving us our first smile of the day!!!

See everyone Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne

What fun today! Kids these days have such wonderful imaginations and sure do know now to have fun! Joy, you really do have a family that knows how to celebrate! The first group, the Mario group, makes such a colorful picture, and yes, I see the kitties! How cute! The party animals all dressed up in tutu’s seem oblivious to the two ghosts lurking on the front porch!

The Banana Cops,……hilarious! I’m sure they both had a great night of trick or treating!

Thanks for sending these in and to Jeanne for sharing them with us!

What fun to see your pictures, Joy! I used to love to play Super Mario Brothers on our Nintendo, back in the day, so of course I was attracted to that picture. and then the boys’ Banana Cops thing–so clever and creative. (I remember a neighbor boy, when he was about that age, fixed up a big box to look like a set table, with his head on the “plate” in the middle; if he crouched down you saw his head on a plate on the table!) I love when kids use their imaginations that way.

The Party Animal theme was pretty clever, too, and could be interpreted in a variety of ways. Adding the tutus was a fun idea.

Guess what?! I felt well enough to go to IHOP tonight, and to our great surprise, our friend Craig was there, too! He just had major surgery 9 days ago, and we didn’t expect to see him so soon–he just got home from the hospital two days ago! But Penny said he wanted to come, so they came. You could see it really exhausted him, though, so started to do the trivia questions while we were waiting for our food so we could finished earlier.

My cone trees are all done except for the stars on top of them, so hopefully I should get some pictures taken fairly soon now.
