Time to vote for your FAVORITE Doll Dresses of 2025!!

Hi everyone,
Thank you for ALL your wonderful compliments on the dress parade yesterday! As I looked over my list of dolls who modeled, I can see I was a bit partial to a few of them… 6″ Mini Bailey, Ten Ping and Mae, each got 3 turns at modeling! That’s just what happens when you have happy dolls! They get picked again and again!

Today is the day for you to cast your votes for the dress set you think deserves First, Second and Third place. If you could just put either First, Second, Third and then the name of the doll outfit, it would be perfect… or you can do #1, #2, #3 with the names you want for each of those numbers. I have to make a grid to keep it all straight because I don’t want there to be any issues…

You can either leave your voting preference below in the comments or you can email me (using the “Contact Me” tab just under the header of this post!)

I’m going to use 2 of the pictures of each outfit that I showed yesterday. I’ll have the name of each dress set still in bold lettering.

I’m excited to see which dress wins for 2025!!!

Let’s get started!

6″ Mini Bailey in “Waiting for Easter!”

Mae in “Easter Charm.”

Ruby Red Fashion Friend Rozen in “Easter Blues”

Ten Ping in “Little Lambie”

6″ Mini Bailey in “Easter Essentials.”

Little Darling, Emmie in “Charming for Easter.”

Traveling back to the 1940’s, Molly modeled a dress set called “Picnic Fun.”

Mae in “Pretty in Pink!”

Ten Ping in “Birthday Fun!”

6″ Mini Bailey in “Pint Size Patriot!

Kirsten in “Home Sweet Home!”

Rebecca in “Summer’s End”

Mae in “Sweet and Petite”

Stella and Freida in “Autumn’s Arrival.”

Ten Ping in “Little Punkin”

Emmie in “October Charm”

Rebecca in “Holiday Helper!”

Effner, Little Darling, Natasha in “Christmas Charm.”

I hope that wasn’t too hard to narrow down your top 3 choices. I hope you picked the winners! :o)

I need to decide which were “my” top 3!!

See you tomorrow with the winners!!!
Blessings, Jeanne

    Okay, here are my choices:

#1 Little Lambie. What can I say, it’s lavender (my favorite color) and has a lamb (I still have my “lambie-pie” from when I was very young; she was much loved), so that makes this choice easy! I don’t remember what happened, if I meant to come back and check the bidding the last day of its auction or what, but somehow I missed it.

#2 Pint Sized Patriot. I own this one, that’s how much I like it.

#3 Picnic Fun. Everything about this outfit just sings, to me! It’s perfectly Molly.

There were a couple of other items I really liked, too, but you can’t have everything!

    1. Theresa in Indiana

I had a feeling you would vote for this one, Charlotte. 🙂 I love the little lamb – I have a rather large collection of lambs and sheep so this one appealed to me because of the lamb.

  2. Sissy Lingle on the GA coast

This is very difficult, Jeanne, but since I love Meadow dolls and also wish I had a Ten Ping, They are the ones that grab me most.
#1 Mae in Pretty in Pink
#2 Ten Pink in Little Lambie
#3 Little Bailey in Pint Size Patriot

  3. Happy Tuesday everyone
Believe it or not, I went through these little sweeties all afternoon yesterday and examined each carefully. …. and made notes, I tried not to look directly into those adorable piercing eyes and delicate faces…
I am certain everyone looked at every detail, the shoes! Jeanne, those are always so precious.
This was very difficult for me 😂😂 because I took it so seriously.
The dresses! I focused on the dresses. Oh this was so hard and I still doubt my choices but I am biting the bullet here!
    my #1 Pretty in Pink
    #2 Christmas Charm
    #3 October Charm.
I do not have any of these tiny adorable dolls. I do not know why. They are so incredibly beautiful.
I have two original 1990’s AG dolls that belong to my estranged daughter (Felicity and a doll with blond long hair and bangs we named Christina) and I have a at present, naked Target? Sparkle doll? my daughter gave me last year to use as a model for making clothes for Laurens dolls, and she has WW Emerson this year. These dolls are wonderful. I do have them upstairs in my sewing “rooms” and I have a few clothes for them, Christina has most. I should be making them some adorable pajamas and slippers.
This was a very difficult choice. All of your dresses are #1.
    Have a nice day everyone.
I have a video appointment with Cindy my NP-C today about perhaps some assistance in clearing out this head of mine.
Yesterday hubbs drove my car (we have three old cars, my Acura rdx is 18 years old in April this year), we drove to Leesburg Virginia via Evergreen Mills Road and delivered the last (small forgotten account) of the Estate paperwork of my fathers. It was a pretty drive. I was the passenger. We got some bagels on the way home.
I hope everyone has a spiff and sunny day!

Don’t forget I sent you my email if you want to know more about staying in Helen, GA.

  4. Joy in northern CA

Well, I really did not have any trouble choosing my favorite at all because, it is a lovely special design composed of a tiered skirt, detailed trims and buttons, a matching bonnet with flowered detail, and a matching brooch. The color is fabulous with the black detail. And my number one is Rebecca, in Holiday Helper!

Although the other outfits are lovely and the special hats incredible, I can’t make any further choices for a two or three. So, I’m only choosing a number one.

Today, we awoke to sun and clearing. After all of the clouds and rain what a gorgeous view. We’ll definitely be able to get in a walk today as it rained all day yesterday.

And no further racoon sightings. 🙂

  5. Linda in St. Louis

I’m back here for the second time, because theI first time did not go through! Like everyone else, I had one heck of a time picking out just three! Even now, I wonder if I wouod even pick the same three tomorrow!

    Well, here goes!
    1. Home Sweet Home, with Kirsten modeling. There is just no match for that lace!

2.Charming for Easter with Emmie modeling. That is just the sweetest dress and the straw bonnet is the cherry on top! Darling doll too!

3.Waiting for Easter with mini Bailey modeling. That is a darling, fully complete outfit, hat, dress, jacket, purse and shoes! And you can’t beat that smile!

Are you surprised, Jeanne that I didn’t vote for Molly? I LOVE that dress she is wearing! I loved the lavender dress too, and Summer’s End and Birthday Fun, but you only wanted three! You certainly did get a lot of Easter dresses in last year!

  6. This has been hard … I keep changing my mind. Really … this is tough.

I am lucky to have Picnic Fun as my own, so I will vote for the others. I too do not have any of those little adorable dollies and they are so darn cute in their wonderful created outfits.

So, I will go for :

    1. Pint Size Patriot
    2. Ten Ping in Little Punkin.
    3. Rebecca in Summers End.

Honestly, I could go on and on with some of the little ones’ outfits- I loved the two of Mae’s. I had to vote for Rebecca in her beautiful dress as I’m very dedicated to the American Girls. And then there’s Natasha in the beautiful red dress with the white jacket. And I must find a Ten Ping doll for myself!!!
    Oh boy, better stop here.

  7. Dorothy in PA and the World

Dear Jeanne, here is my list.

    First: October Charm
    Second: Waiting For Easter
    Third: Pint Size Patriot

From reading what the other Sisters wrote, I think we are all over the place with our lists (smile). That just means that you make such incredibly beautiful outfits that we can not come to a consensus (smile).

I just realized that I pick outfits based on the dolls that I have and that I would normally dress. That’s why the “crowd” behind me is shouting “pick that dress, Mama, pick that dress!” (laugh)

  8. Barbara in SE Texas

Definitely a tough task but I charged ahead and came up with the following:

#1 Charming for Easter (I have this pattern but have not made it up yet, but after seeing this dress I must do something with it).

#2 Birthday Fun (it was a toss-up between this and Little Lambie but the bows on the shoulder won out).

#3 Christmas Charm (what’s not to like about this totally amazing and “charming” outfit).

But I loved them all and picking only three was very difficult. Can’t wait to see he final results.

  9. Such an easy choice for me.
    1. Rebecca in “Holiday Helper!” (remember, I called it amber)
    2. Kirsten in “Home Sweet Home!” (I love blue and that lace is gorgeous)
    3. Rebecca in “Summer’s End”

    1. Dorothy in PA and the World

Dear Laura, I love how you wrote the names of the dolls first as if they were “starring” in a movie! That is so cute.

  10. Debbie in North Carolina

I thought the dresses for the American Girls were spectacular!

    1. Summer’s End on Rebecca
    2. Picnic Fun on Molly
    3. Holiday Helper on Rebecca

  11. Anne Coldron in Christchurch NZ

    My Picks would be
    1. Sweet and Petite
    2.Waiting for Easter
    3.Summers End
But it was very difficult to choose, all of them are special.

  12. Well, once again, my picks have disappeared. So, I will vote again. They may be different this time—I just don’t remember who I voted for, first time around.
    1. Red Christmas dress and cape
    2. Lambie pie.
    3. Pretty in Pink. I think it was an Effner doll modeling it.

    1. Hi Dianna,
I found your email in my Spam folder… along with someone elses.
I have your choices marked down… but just wanted to double check…
Actually “Pretty in Pink” was the name for Mae… but “Charming for Easter” was on a Little Darling doll… did you mean the Charming in Pink set? Just wanted to get the right vote for the right dress set.
      Blessings, Jeanne

  13. Karen from Kentucky

    First: Christmas Charm
    Second: Summers End
    Third: Holiday Helper

    Happy Feast of the Epiphany!

    1. Barbara in SE Texas

Happy Epiphany to you also Karen. We had a beautiful Feast of Lights service at church Sunday evening. Since the kids start back to school on Wednesday we decided it would be easier for more to come if we had it on Sunday evening. It’s also hubby David’s birthday today.

  14. Marilyn in Colorado

Congratulations to Charlotte! It sounds like you have the perfect outfit for the sweater, and it’s your birthday month besides. Two good reasons that you should be the lucky winner.

And more luck and another surprise — Anne is sending me an AG sized sweater. A package from New Zealand! You don’t get one of those every day.
Many thanks, Anne. I have 2 new dolls — one new from AG and one new to me. The new sweater is bound to fit one or the other and both are working on accumulating wardrobes.

Now for the vote. There were several that made me say “Oh” or “Ah,” but the one that made me say, “Wow!” was
    1) Christmas Charm — seeing it last was like seeing it for first time.
2 and 3 were pretty much equal, but I’ll go with
    2) Picnic Fun because this may be my all-time favorite Molly dress and she’s never looked prettier.
    3) Home, Sweet Home. The blue is lovely and the lace is unbearable.

After looking at these pictures, I think Jeanne could make a living making Easter bonnets.
