Hi everyone,
Yesterday we saw Linda’s darling baby doll and today I have another one to share. Priscilla sent me a sweet email and wait till you read what she wrote and see her bundle of sweetness.
Hi Jeanne!
Linda’s doll is sooo pretty! She did a wonderful job making her and adding the lovely dress with the blue too!
(Actually, Linda didn’t make her doll, Priscilla, her hubby bought it for her.) :o)
I also made this doll. The doll’s mold name is “Sugar Britches.” I made her in December 1987 when I was almost 9 months pregnant with my second baby. She was the first porcelain doll that I ever made. I wasn’t too good about painting and she looks very pale compared to Linda’s doll! I did make her dress and after trying to make many more porcelain dolls, I realized that I am much better at sewing than painting! I stuck with my God given talent instead and just make doll clothes now! Lol. Anyways, I just wanted to share a picture of her.
You and George are always in my prayers. I think of you guys often!
Love to all,
Priscilla
Thank you, Priscilla! Your doll is very pretty and I’m sure she brings a smile to your face every time you see her. Her christening dress and bonnet are beautifully sewn and she looks thrilled to be wearing it!
See everyone Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne
