Hi everyone,
I learned how to use our new (used) zero-turn mower, but I wouldn’t call me seasoned just yet! My hubby gave some instructions and then went outside with me to show me a few things. I sort of stayed a little bit away from the bushes planted around the house and the siding on the garage. It’s a bit tricky to use these bars that you push and pull to make the mower go… and pull back to stop and if you pull back even farther, the mower goes backward! I didn’t do that too much, but I got pretty good at doing the turns at the end of a long stretch without having to make a big loop like on our old riding mower. Sorry, I don’t have any pictures of me on the mower… but just imagine me, with the wind blowing in my hair, as I glide across the yard making zigs and zags and turns all the while hoping I remember the most important thing… HOW TO STOP IT IF I’M HEADING FOR DANGER… or the gazebo! EEK!
What’s the last new thing you’ve learned to do?
I’ll see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
