Hi everyone,
I’m glad some of you were able to see the video of the lady trapsing up and down the stairs getting things from boxes and drawers to dress her dolls and set the most glorious scene up. I think the whole video was so feminine and dainty and sweet. I’ll try to find things in the future that everyone can see.
I decided I was going to get some shoes listed on Etsy if it was the only thing I got accomplished today. I have a container full of them and they were never going to sell, if I didn’t get them out. Well, I somehow managed to get 8 shoe listings done, which included 3 for Ten Ping and the other Mini dolls by Ruby Red.
I was out of the habit of listing things on Etsy, so it took me longer to remember what went where.
I’ll pick one picture of each pair listed and then put the link to my Etsy shop at the bottom if you are interested. I’m offering FREE shipping on whatever you buy.
The first 3 pair are for 8″ Ten Ping dolls:
These look light blue, but they are actually a very pretty light mint green.
The rest of these shoes are for the Ruby Red Fashion Friends:
Thanks for taking a peek.
Blessings, Jeanne

Well, first of all let me say that I finally got to see that video you posted yesterday! When I first clicked on the link, a white pop-up showed, telling you to sign in, etc., and I noticed a big X in the upper right corner. I clicked on the X, and voila! I had the video!! Now, if I want to add a comment, etc., I would need to sign in, but at least I got to see the video. Really fascinating, and I kind of wish it had gone a little slower so I could see more of the details!
Thank you, Rosemary, for the link to that lady’s web site. My goodness, she sure has a lot of dolls!!
We are definitely getting cooler her in the Seattle area–65 was our high today, and we had rain showers all day. Ugh.
Love the shoes, Jeanne! I am going to have to think about that. Not that my Gigi needs a single thing more–the little fashionista has FOUR Jeanne Marie originals now, I think (maybe 5?!)–but the Ruby Reds would enjoy some new shoes, I’m sure. Hmmm…..
We’re getting rain too Charlotte. Definitely will cut down on the fire danger for a bit. But, after this, I think we’re heading back into the 80’s again. I’m not ready for a lot of rain quite yet.
Hi Charlotte, you can treat Instagram videos just like any other one (YouTube) Click your mouse in the middle of the screen to pause it and then again to start it back up. Plus, by clicking Ctrl and the + sign you can enlarge it before you click the pause.
Thank you, Laura! I will try to remember that! Good to know about the Ctrl. and + sign thing, too!!
Good morning dear ones. Happy Tuesday already!!
Jeanne, these shoes are so adorable.
Your designs and styles are just what I like.
You could start making people shoes ๐ just kidding.
I hope everyone has a very good day!
I wonder where everyone is this morning?
No worries about the video, Jeanne. I just went to FB and looked her up. I wonder what her closet looks like with all of those 50’s type dresses and so many heels. Definitely not my style. Ha ha But, her doll stuff is amazing.
We were able to finish up the coat of paint on the steps and rails to the garage yesterday before the rain appeared. Then, took a walk. As we were almost to the top of the hill, I noticed a few raindrops. Rounded a corner with a friend coming the other way. We waved and said “Walk Faster”, as none of us wanted to get caught in a deluge. Fortunately, I had my umbrella, which I didn’t need because it stopped and didn’t have any more for several hours.
Managed to get the winter plaid fabric with pleats intact cut out for that repeat pattern jumper dress, I’ve been working on. Need to sew them down and then match up the back so I can at least get something accomplished. Then, as I was looking around the ironing board, I spied some green fabric in a pile. Or I thought it was green because another piece there turned out to be more bluish when I put it in direct light. The one I like the green color of is actually polished cotton. I haven’t seen any of that in a long time. The front being more shiny and the back the perfect green color. I’m going to have to put the fabric for the jumper next to it and see which side looks best. The polished cotton would definitely make the outfit more holiday like I think, but do I want that? Not sure.
Looks like more rain today, so guess what? I won’t be talking about that crazy deck. Yay! I think we need a break from that for a day anyway. ๐
Keep dry everyone!
I had a lot of polished cotton dresses when I was in high school. I mentioned my grandfather worked for Bancroft Mills. They finished fabric and a lot of it was for home decor. Since I sewed and the fabric was available and was very pretty, I made a lot of clothes from it. Would not have been my first choice for apparel fabric but it was free and going to a fabric store was a no-go at the time.
I like the sound of free! I’m sure that you came up with some cute things to wear. ๐
I made a dress for Easter one year using a pattern that had a full skirt. It was a flowered fabric. It was lovely and very spring-like. When my sisters and I were younger my mother made us matching dresses for Easter using polished cotton from the “stash”. It had bouquets of blue and gold flowers all over the fabric. It seemed every time we wore the dresses it rained. My mother said God must have thought the flowers needed watering.
Joy, green is definitely one color that AG is lacking for the holidays. People talk about that all the time on AGPT and wonder why they donโt use it more. Looks like the Christmas colors this year are gold pink and white, which really doesnโt seem too Christmasy to me.
The shoes are darling, Jeanne, but that first pair looks absolutely gray on my monitor! You say they are green?
Of all things, it looks like summer is back again for us. I was so looking forward g forward to cooler days, which we did get for a couple, but it is in the 80โs again. At least we arenโt in the 90โs!
Linda, I really don’t like your saying summer is back for you because that means it will still be here for me for a while. I use your weather as kind of a gauge when I can expect a front here. Our mornings are cooler but the rest of the day is still in the 90s (at least it’s the low 90s).
Sorry Barbara! I feel your pain though! We had a taste of fall last week, but unfortunately, it was just a taste!
I saw the AG Christmas colors which can be pretty, but I do love the red/greens myself. ๐
Well, I could not resist the temptation of purchasing shoes from the Etsy shop this morning. I was not greedy though so there are plenty left. The shoes were all adorable. Wish there had been some for the Siblies too.
I took a look too, but couldn’t make up my mind. Congrats on the new shoes. ๐
Well, I went back and also picked up a pair of red for whoever ends up wearing the outfit I’m currently working on. ๐
Oops, maybe that should have been whomever? Whatever!
Oh, Jeanne, I love the shoes, especially the red ones with the flowers. I wish I had a doll that would fit them!
We had a nice rain yesterday but in didn’t last very long. We think there will be more coming soon from some activity in the Atlantic.
We got out for our Water aerobics and grocery stores finally this morning. With all the goings-on with our bathrooms we couldn’t get out much.
Peyton bought some ground lamb so I will be busy working up a Shepherds pie
for dinner.
Have a good day, y”all!
