I found some time for Ten Ping…

I didn’t spend a huge amount of time, but enough to show you what I did on Ten Ping’s jacket! Yes… I went in my sewing room and picked up her jacket and look what happened! I got her crest/patch sewn on.

And this is how she looks from afar….

See, I told you it wasn’t much, but it’s more than yesterday! :o)

Okay, that’s all I have… now you are free to talk with each other…

See you
Blessings, Jeanne

That little crest worked nicely on Ten Ping’s jacket! And I’m sure she was thrilled to get a little attention today, too!!

I am thinking a white blouse might be next???

Big news: Ron will be moving into the family care home TOMORROW (that is, Wed.–to me, it’s still Tues. night)!!! I had called Angela and told her Ron wanted the one closest to us (less than three blocks!), and a couple of hours later, the lady who runs it called me and said he could come tomorrow, right after lunch. If we need help, she can send one of her caregivers over to lend a hand, but I’m hoping our son and our friend Jon will be able to help. So, tonight I’ve been packing, and labeling some things, and making lists….

Ron still needs to have a nurse assessment, but Elizabeth said that could be done at their home, and that would be fine. So…

I want to thank you all for your prayers. It hasn’t been easy, this summer, but last night, when it took him three tries to get into bed (one of which he almost ended on top of me as he started falling backward!!), I know this is the right time.

He did ask me how long this was going to be for (as in, forever??) and I told him, “Only as long as you need the extra care.” (And thanks again to Marilyn for that quote about being “his family again”–that has helped more than you know.)

Dear Charlotte, this is good news that he will be so close. I was praying that that location would be the best fit. I know it will give you comfort to have him so close. Thanks for keeping us informed. I am continuing to hold you in prayer.

Ten Ping looks so cute in that outfit, Jeanne! The crest looks very “official” and I am sure she is wondering where her blouse is! Her new teacher is going to be very impressed with that outfit!

So nice, Charlotte, that Ron will only be a few blocks away! Much easier for you to navigate and go to visit! Things did work out and I hope they continue that way.

I hope George is doing better!❤️

Very glad that Ron, will be close by for Charlotte. It’s going to be great that he will have help nearby. He’ll probably get used to his new place quickly and enjoy Charlotte’s visits. I don’t think I asked, but does the care home have daily activities? Like musicians visiting, movie night, or ?
Little TP’s outfit is looking so sweet. A nice white tee or blouse would be a great part of the outfit to add. Then, she could also wear the blouse/skirt for things other than school. Like Thanksgiving. 🙂 I know, too soon.
Hope George, is doing better. How’s the garden? Chickens?

Dear Joy, I hope Other Person has made up with you for the untimely box arrival. That said, when is the next caper (laugh)?

Dear Jeanne, I think the jacket looks nice. Ten Ping will be a fashion plate at her exclusive private school or her local public school.

Ten Peng looks like the epitome of a vintage school girl. We were talking about uniforms the other day. This one is so classy😉 mine was so plain, no personality and the dullest dark green.😛
Will be fun to see what happens for a blouse. The skirt is primo. Everything about it is perfect.
Keeping you and George in my prayers.
Yeah Charlotte! That was really fast…Hope Ron settles in and likes his new room. You will be busy getting him all settled. Glad you have help doing it🫶
