Ten Ping doll fans will love her new pet…

I think the second clue totally gave it away… I was going to take a picture of the tail, but decided to do another hoof…and you all know what it is now… yes, a little lamb.

That’s not all that is new today… I made a new pair of shoes…that look RED, but they aren’t… they are dark pink. I used some Ultrasuede and modified my pattern for a much better fit. I threw away my other pattern… this one went together much better. I tried every which way to make them look pink and just couldn’t get it to work… They compliment the jacket perfectly to me…

I also made a half slip to wear under her dress… it has a couple of ruffles so it works great at holding her dress out.

Ten Ping wanted a hat like she had in the lavender set a few times back, so I did the best I could to replicate it….only decorating it differently!

And of course the lamb… Ten Ping wants to name her Lambie. She was a Christmas ornament at Joann’s that was on clearance and I snagged her, thinking of this very kind of scenerio… Little Ten Ping with her little lamb… :o) I added some decorative trim around her neck, but if the winner doesn’t like it, they can just snip it off…it’s not glued down.

Well, I think that’s it… how about a picture of everything? I took 94 pictures tonight to narrow down for Ebay… You might see some of these again on the listing…

(I’m going to have to put a little note on the pictures with the shoes, saying they are NOT red, but pink.)

I’m going to try and get this listed Friday evening, but again, no promises…

Thanks so much,
Blessings, Jeanne

Ten Ping’s outfit is complete now, I think! And just lovely. The first picture of the shoes look more what I’d call a light red, but I agree–some colors are just hard to photograph!! And we all know you’ve worked with this issue in the past, too–trying to make colors look in photos that way they are seen in real life. I think people will understand.

Her Lambie is darling! My own Lambie-Pie stands like that, too, and is rather stiff (Very Firmly stuffed), but she is more a cream color, or at least is now. I don’t remember her ever being white-white. Yes, I still have her! She’s been thru a lot these past 77 years!

    1. You are a speedy creator of darling dresses lately! Give you a day or two and WOWZA a new ensemble. This is so sweet…each detail makes it perfect. That new shoe pattern is outstanding.
      Have a good weekend everyone🫶

So sweet, Jeanne! I hope I didn’t let the cat out of the bag mentioning the “Baaa” part, but I just took a guess, and it turned out to be right! Oh well, what a cute little lamb, and the perfect size too! That outfit is just the sweetest little outfit any tiny girl wold love to have! Yes, the shoes do look to be a light red, but I’ll take your word for it, that they are pink! You have a good eye for colors, and some are hard to photograph, not to mention dealing with different computer monitors.

What a darling little hat, all decked out with scallops and a perky flower! Just perfect, and a little slip too! This outfit sure does brighten a rainy day like today!

  3. Such a really cute outfit. The hem lace is stunning by itself, and has a scalloped edge that the jacket edge mimics The slip especially with twice the ruffles is pretty enough to wear as a tutu, maybe for dance class? I visualize a tee shirt type top or tube top. It’s so easy to see options with most everything you make.

When I was looking for pinking shears some scalloped edge scissors also showed up in my searches. Just thought it might be a helpful suggestion if anyone tries to find them
    Have a great day all.

Glad to see that the little lamb has all four hoofs on the ground. After my first view of obsidian in a snowbank, very glad to see a whole intact lamb. It is sweet with Ten Ping. Love the pic of her holding the lamb. 🙂
I can see why the shoes look red in the photos, because next to the bright pink they do look red. However, when the fabric is enlarged, the tiny dots in the flowers are the same color as the shoes. Maybe in the auction photos, the note should say that they are the same color as the tiny dot in the fabric? Although I’m sure most won’t care as the set is sweet.
I keep forgetting to look for scalloped scissors. Didn’t think to look for pinking shears. Thanks Dorothy.
    On to the weekend! 🙂

Jeanne, this outfit and lamb are totally perfect!! Brava.
Getting close to your next Christmas; I took down our tree Tuesday, the first full day of spring. I miss it.
Have a splendid day, and again, wow.

  6. This whole outfit is absolutely adorable!! “ “Wear” to begin??? The shoes are perfect- the hat and jacket! Oh my!! So cute!!! Wish I had a little dolly to put this outfit on.

  7. Give you a day or two and up comes another awesome ensemble. Ten Ping knows the drill but she still won’t be happy to let go of this cute set. This pattern of shoes is perfect…what a good fit! Love the hat of course and that lamb is just what she needed. Good luck with this auction🥹👏
    Have a good weekend everyone🌷
