My Little Blarney Bailey is charming in her St. Patrick’s Day set…

I looked up the word Blarney and it said used as a verb, it means “Talk that aims to charm, pleasantly, to flatter or persuade.” So I’m thinking maybe if I call this “Blarney Bailey,” I will “blarney you into bidding on this one!” Just a thought…then, there’s “The Littlest Leprechaun” or I think Kathie called her an Irish Lass… I’ll figure it out… or you can help me… if you do it quickly!
I have all the pieces finished…

Want to see them?

Well, today I went on a search for some gold coin (candy) and it was VERY hard to find… but I did find some “Bunny Bucks” and it was even the right colors… green and some of the blues, like in her dress…

I looked for a little gold pot to put her coins in, but I only found black, but you had to buy several in a pack and I decided to pass.

I did however find some glittery green hats on a stick… I took off the stick and sprayed them with a sealer on the inside and out, so the glitter wouldn’t get on everything… (you’re welcome!) :o)

Then I used a piece of green elastic cording I had, and hot glued it to the inside of the hat, and covered the glue areas with a piece of green felt…

Then this evening, I realized I had NOTHING for her in the way of shoes… so I used some white Ultrasuede (Kathie sent me!) and made the teeny tiniest pair of white slip-on shoes for her. They are a perfect fit and slide on her foot and stay there! They are only 1 inch long so they are adorable too! I punched out a few white leather flowers and sewed them on the shoe vamp and added a pearl. The bottoms have green felt… what else? :o)

Here are the new pieces for today…

Marilyn mentioned I should show her sitting in my hand, so you can see just how tiny she is…

Now, here are a few pictures of our photo shoot…

What a little charmer she is!

Thanks for all your kind comments…
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

This outfit is just adorable! I love the accessories, and her shoes are wonderful

Today was the first day of Expo, and I’m having a wonderful time! My back and right knee have not been especially happy, though, and I had to sit down frequently and rest. Tonight, though, my knee is finally feeling back to normal (yesterday when I arrived at the motel, my knee gave a sharp jab of pain and almost collapsed under me. I wore a brace on it today, and it seems whatever it was is improving quite a bit. Looking forward to tomorrow!!

Yikes, Charlotte! That’s scary! Be careful! Glad you’re feeling better mostly and that you are having a great time at the Expo!

Oh, how CUTE little Bailey is there nestled in your hand, with her sparkly top hat, and green teddy bear nearby, Jeanne! I’m all for the title Littlest Leprechaun! She’s almost cuter than the real thing! This outfit really shows her personality and cuteness! Is the word “cute” the word of the day here?

Those shoes are perfect, and so nice that you have R and L on them showing the right foot they go on!😊

I guess her teddy needs a name, it could be Shamrock! That top hat says it all, a sparkly, St Patrick’s Day outfit that is better than a pot of gold!

The Littlest Leprechaun Lass! The hand picture is super. I hope you use it. If someone says, “I wonder if it will fit [X],” seeing Bailey in you hand will give them a clue. But the last picture has the leprechaun spirit,so maybe it should be the lead. The shoes are wonderful.

I’m ready fora Spring in Virginia Felicity dress. Do you have dogwood for a prop?

She looks great, Jeanne! I’m especially liking the green felt on the bottom of her neat shoes.

Hope this adorable outfit is listed pronto as the Green Day is coming soon. Very nice that you marked Bailey’s shoes with R/L. I’m sure it will be helpful for her. 🙂 And a great idea for the hat on a stick! I’m surprised that you were able to find any green things left. Twinkles everywhere will love this.

What a charming outfit. It definitely shows off Bailey’s adorable personality. Love the shoes. You are getting so good at cobblering you can whip up a pair of shoes in no time. How great you found the perfect hat. It really completes the outfit. I agree with Marilyn that the last picture needs to be the lead.

  7. This little doll is so adorable and I love her outfit! I don’t have any dolls this size but wish you the best of luck with the outfit. I can’t believe how you made those tiny shoes!

  8. That whole ensemble has to win the “speedy award”. It came together so fast and couldn’t be a better fit or look. I forgot I have some of those hats only bigger so must get my LD out and get her dressed.
Charlotte hope your sore spots are improving. I have used the Salon Pas with Lidocaine and they REALLY helped. Hopefully there is a Walgreens or Walmart close by. Please try them.😍 The first time I used them was at a UFDC convention. One member watched me walk down the hall and stopped me, reached in her purse and handed me some… it was so nice of her! Doll people are so nice❤️

  9. Well naturally when it come to St. Patrick’s Day outfits I think of the song, “When Irish eyes are Smiling” and Bailey does smile.
Love her sparkly little hat and cute shoes. The dress and pantalettes are so sweet. Kroger has gold coins here, but yours are nice with all the colors.

I know Felicity had a turn already, but Marilyn is right. She should have another or two 🙂 to make up for being passed over entirely last year.
