~ The Littlest Patriot~ is now listed on Ebay…

I did it…Ten Ping is showing off her sweet little set to the world but I sure wish I could get her to smile. I think she was concentrating too much on posing for me.

I wanted to take some pictures outside but it was way too windy… so I had to settle for inside ones.

If you’d like to see the listing, you can click on the picture at the right side bar or click HERE.

I also lowered the price and relisted the Regency dress that didn’t sell… You can click on the picture of it at the right side bar as well, or click HERE.

We have 12 days until my hubby has his knee replacement (of the replacement) Ugh! There is lots to be done and I’m already behind…

I did make it to the cemetary today and it was very pretty with all the flags blowing in the wind…

I’ll see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Congrats on getting Ten Ping’s outfit finished and listed! It’s just darling, and I love everything about it. (So does my Gigi!!)

I didn’t get to the cemetery today, but I do go for things like birthdays, anniversaries, and most other holidays, plus my dad wasn’t a veteran (nor was Ron’s stepdad–our folks are all buried in the same general area), so I wasn’t overly concerned about “missing”. I did have one uncle who was killed in action, but he was buried at sea.

I’m sure, however, that our cemetery was well decorated with flowers and flags today, as was the one you visited, Jeanne!

Well, it seems like Joy is “expecting” again!! ๐Ÿ˜‚ More dolly adventures to look forward to!! But I don’t remember seeing or hearing about a RRFF Lisa; how did I miss that?! (couldn’t find her online, either…)

Charlotte, Lisa, was a special edition released in Russia, earlier in the year. You can find those only produced for other countries by checking on the RubyRedToys site under sales which lists dealers around the world. ๐Ÿ™‚

Charlotte, I should have said “Where to buy”. That shows where around the world you can purchase dolls and which dolls they have available. Laura has the archive page listed below where you can see all of the dolls worldwide. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh yes, Jeanne, Ten Ping would have had quite a time with all that wind we had yesterday! Everywhere you could see, flags were whipping back and forth, and I think little Ten Ping would have blown straight to China!

She certainly “rocks” that outfit! Another little Ten Ping will have something to wear for the Fourth of July, coming up sooner than we think! We will soon be into June; how can this be?

We weren’t there, but it was amazing to see on TV, the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery here in St. Louis, with flags on each of the over 250,000 graves decorated by the Boy Scouts. i remember well when our son did that. It was nice to see so many neighbors flying the flag, and i do mean flying! We had serious wind!!

Looking forward to more “new” dolly stories!

We had a lot of wind here too, but it was a pretty day, with the leaves sparkling in the sun. We should get much-needed rain today.

Yesterday we had 2 super-spreader events in our town — the Bolder Boulder marathon and the Creek Festival. Just a couple of days earlier, we moved from medium danger to high alert for COVID — I suppose it was too late to cancel but still a bad idea.

As for Ten Ping’s expression — Memorial Day is a solemn day so her expression fits. I remember taking my nephew to see the Declaration of Independence. I was holding him because he was only 6 months old. I told him what it was while he listened carefully. I loved that the guard then explained that the case that held the Declaration was designed to pull it deep underground in case of war or an attack. He listened to her with the same concentration Ten Ping shows here. He must have been interested — he grew up to be an engineer.

Loved your cemetery photos. It actually looks like the one a few blocks from here where my relatives rest, except there were flags on all the graves of veterans. Hopefully, next year they will have the Avenue of the Flags once again. Miss that.
Another package is still listed as arriving Friday. I spotted some great dollhouses as well, but am holding back for the time being. ๐Ÿ™‚

Dear Joy, I am already excited about your coming report when the package arrives (smile).

Hi Joy and Charlotte, I found this part of the RRFF site a couple of weeks ago. https://rubyredtoys.com/content/28-doll-archive Is this what you meant, Joy? I’m not finding a “sales” tab. I saw Daphne go up for pre-order. My lone RRFF is still waiting for a friend. I haven’t seen another must-have yet.:-)

Also, as I’m finally getting around to this, can you please tell me how to upload my Anaelle’s certificate onto Ruby Red Fashion Friends- Global’s Facebook page? Do I drag it from My Pictures folder or what? Thank you!!

      1. Joy in northern CA

I should have said, Where to Buy! It lists all of the dealers worldwide. You can see what dolls are available in different countries by checking their sites. Or some of the FB groups sometimes post when new dolls are out. ๐Ÿ™‚

And yes, the archive you mentioned above has all or close to all of the dolls produced. It is very helpful. Thanks for reminding me.

      2. Joy in northern CA

I can’t remember how I added the certificate, but think that I took a photo of it and then added it to the site. I’m sure I didn’t drag it, because I don’t know how. I’m old. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think at the time, there was something on the site page to get to the membership form. Then I added the certificate where they wanted it. Then it took a couple of weeks for them to add in people. Maybe Sally remembers. ๐Ÿ™‚

        Hi, Laura, Joy, et al.
Yes, that archive is very helpful and all-inclusive.
As for the application, since I only use an iPad, I took a photo of my certificate, the side that has the number, and where the application asks for a photo, I think there is something that gives you one or two choices to add the photo from. I think I clicked on something like โ€œadd a photo from your library โ€œ and then went to my photos on my iPad, clicked on that photo and I think there was something like โ€œuseโ€. Laura, if this fossil managed it, I know you can, too!
Looks like Joyโ€™s and my Lisaโ€™s are traveling together. While I donโ€™t like having my hubby see all the dolls coming here, I donโ€™t have to sweat the bullets that Joy does, which she describes in such an entertaining way. โค๏ธ
53rd anniversary here today. After a long weekend of family here and a graduation of oldest granddaughter, I have zero, zero energy.
Cute set for Ten Ping, Jeanne, beautiful pie, azalea, Gerorgeโ€™s amazing gardens, etc, etc. Wonderful things on this post always.
Good luck, Laura. I KNOW you can do the picture transfer!

Thank you, Sally and Joy,, I’ll give it whirl sometime this week. I’m sure it mustn’t be too difficult since there are a number of members. I’ll be working from my laptop so we’ll see if it’s similar.
I’m glad to hear the RRFF archive page is inclusive. Nice to have all the dolls on one page for reference.
Happy Anniversary, Sally, to you and your hubby.

      4. Charlotte Trayer

Thank you, Laura. I had no idea there were so many different special editions worldwide!!

  5. Dorothy in PA and the World

Dear Jeanne, I love the title you selected for the sale of Ten Ping’s outfit. It made me think of Shirley Temple.

Well, today we say good-bye to May for another year. I feel a bit sad but I am holding on to the promise of wonderful new opportunities and friendships and fun that the Summer will bring.

  6. Laura in Ohio

The cemetery photos are very nice with all the flags. One of the cemeteries in town has a lot of Civil War soldiers as well as other veterans buried there. The local group puts flags and flowers. The large amount of land to the right was a Civil War campground. There are Underground Railroad houses and Lincoln’s funeral train came through the railroad station that still exists.

Ten Ping’s outfit made me think of Shirley Temple as well, Dorothy.

Joy, I can’t wait to hear how Lisa makes in in. Hopefully, you have devised an “undercover” box.
