~ VALENTINE SURPRISE ~ now listed on Ebay…

Surprise, surprise! I’ve been busy working a little bit each day for the last week or so, and today was the day to get it listed. Yep, Frieda was the new girl in the house, so she got dibs on the top spot of modeling.

I’m not going to show you a picture of it here… (so I don’t spoil the surprise!) You’ll have to check it out on Ebay… by clicking the picture at the right side bar or you can click HERE.

Have fun looking at my latest creation! :o)

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

What a gorgeous outfit, Jeanne! I love the boots–such a pretty color, and they work so well with the coat and hat! The petticoat is wonderful, of course, and I love that little bralette. Such a nice thing for these RRFFs which seem to be a little “older” than the LDs and AGs, and might be starting to “need” such a thing (or want, at least!–I remember being in That category when I was about 12 or so!! And a couple of years after that, too!! 😂)

Well, I thought sure my Frieda would be here by now, but apparently she WALKED from Tennessee to Nebraska, as it took her a week to go that far!! However, as of about 8 tonight (Tues.), she was in Oregon, so perhaps she managed to get a flight out of Nebraska! So…M-A-Y-B-E tomorrow, but I think Thursday is more likely, or Friday. Trying to be patient here!!

Sorry Freida is taking the scenic route to Washington. I too have a couple coming from the east coast that are taking their merry time. I believe they are coming by ox-cart. My Freida, ordered from RRToys in Hong Kong, arrived within three days. Crazy delivery system. The wait will be worth it because Freida is wonderful. 🙂

    2. Hi Charlotte,
Your sweet little Freida visited Nebraska on her way but honestly she didn’t get trapped at my house😉 My very own Freida was delivered the week after Christmas! 🤗🤗
I do think she is sooo pretty! I’m sure you will be thrilled with her too. So far I’ve been just looking at her. When I decide what to make her I will take her out of her little case. ( She will probably be glad to put her arm down too🥴)
Enjoy your new Dolly! Hugs, Kathie

Freida wears the pinkish so well. Love the matching boots too. What a great set. Some one’s RRFF girl will be thrilled very soon. The girls standing around here in their undies are waving, and exclaiming, “Buy it for me! Buy it for me!” 🙂

  3. Linda in St. Louis

It certainly WAS a surprise to see you already listed something on Ebay, Jeanne! I did see your comment to someone yesterday that somewhat referred to that, but still, it was a surprise!

Another RRFF is going to have a sweet coat and accessories made by Jeanne Marie! Lucky her!

If any of you west coast people want to have your dolls spend the night at my B&B here on their way west, fine with me! ( No, I really don’t have a dolly B&B, but wouldn’t that be fun?)☺️

I’d let my “couple” know about your fabulous B&B, if I had an idea of their lo-cal. Last in Delaware and were due here Friday, but that changed to next Monday. I’m sure they would have loved a stop over in St. Louis. 🙂

Love love love this coat set! The color is so perfect for Frieda or is it Frieda has perfect coloring for the fur?! Again you’ve created a stunner. She looks so Dr Zhivago-ish! Your photos are beautiful, and would compliment any ad campaign, but please keep sewing.

  5. Frieda looks absolutely lovely in this soft, pretty in pink, coat and hat. Plus the undies and stockings and boots are a wonderful bonus.
It’s been the perfect time for all these beautiful coats.

It’s exciting to hear about all the RRFF’s travels – both of Joy and Charlotte’s are certainly taking their time – maybe they’re sight seeing? Just wait till they get to their new home and see how many friends they will have!
I’m waiting for little Sydney. She’ll be a sister to “By the Sea Kayla.” I’m not sure where she is right now. Did I say I was only going to get three RRFF’s? Sydney will be my 4th and then that’s it! Really.

    1. LOL, Paula. Famous last words. I was having a PC Samantha and a PC Felicity with a small amount of their collections and now I have triple that with six PC/AG dolls and stuff from multiple historical collection PLUS an RRFF. So far I haven’t seen another RRFF I can’t live without.

Your new coat is perfect with Frieda’s coloring, and the new boots are wonderful. I’m glad the stockings contrast a little, and any doll would be happy with the pretty underclothes — and 2 bids already. I think you have another winner. I’m now seeing mid-thigh coats that are full or wide being worn over leggings or narrow pants and boots. If you have small amounts of fur, a short coat might work over knit pants and JeanneMarie boots.

The coats are doing so well that it would be too bad to stop making them yet, and developing patterns that could be used for spring coats as well (or for the book Susette keeps hoping for) would save time later — though I think pattern development is one of your favorite things,

  7. Freida looks lovely in that dusty rose. It’s a perfect choice for her complexion. The boots are very cute and the “unmentionables” are nice extras. Plenty of dollies are getting new warm coats this year.
Maybe all the en route RRFFs have met up for sight seeing and shopping. Hope they make it home soon though.

  8. Oh yes! LOVE the pink fake fur! Her coloring is perfect with it. The undies and shoes are the perfect accessories.
I think you should put sets of undies with slips like those in your Etsy store ( if you still have an Etsy Store) for the LD’s, the AG’s and the RRFF☺️. They are just so well done and everyone needs nice undies🥰
