I called Ebay two more times today trying to get things resolved as to why my pictures wouldn’t load when trying to get a Gallery picture for Navi’s outfit I was listing. The first lady told me to load Chrome and it would work… (my computer came with Microsoft Edge so I never changed it.) I downloaded Chrome as a new browser and waited and then tried it again… Zilch… nothing changed…
So I waited a little while and called again… and this time the lady was a little more helpful. She looked into my account and I did some troubleshooting and said she discovered a bug… or she “thought” it was a bug… She put an order in for tech support to look into it and then said to check it in 24-48 hours…
Well, I waited about 4 or 5 hours and tried again… on Chrome… several times no pictures would load… so I went back to Microsoft Edge and got 3 pictures to load so I thought I could use one of them for the Gallery picture (the one you see as you are scrolling through Ebay) and decided to see if they would show up if I finished the rest of the listing. They weren’t visible as I was loading the listing, but when I did a preview, the 3 pictures showed up. I decided to go for it… 2 of my pictures in the listing said there was NO IMAGE so I was able to delete those pictures and still have plenty for you to see.
My only concern is Ebay going in to check on things and seeing it listed thinking nothing is wrong, or messing around with things and losing my auction to some kind of glitch…
The strawberry fabric tile I put around the edges isn’t showing up and it shows that the “Image has been deleted” but I decided to go for it. On the phone version, most of the time the tiles are cut off anyway.

What a frustrating day you must have had, Jeanne!
The pictures and story are all darling. I do miss the border of “fabric” around the listing, but all the pictures seem to be showing up just fine. It’s almost 3 a.m. Pacific time, if that helps.
I hope they will be able to figure out the problem so things can go back to normal, though!!

I see the 3 pictures but the strawberry border is missing, too. However, your cute outfit is shown to full advantage! I bet most of your customers won’t notice that this listing doesn’t have the full Jeanne Marie treatment.

Usually I try to put about 6 to 10 pictures just under the Gallery picture, because some people only look at those and never open up the full listing… but this time I could only get 3 pictures, and decided to go for it… I didn’t want to wait any longer…

Interesting experience. I did notice when I just checked your listing that the photos below have a border, but instead of the strawberries, it is all gibberish saying the photo has been removed. I only saw a few photos above when clicking the right arrow. Not sure how many you usually have there. So sorry for the mess. Hope the sales part isn’t a bother too. And at least you were able to talk to a human about the problem.
It’s been pretty chilly here in northern CA, and we actually had a dusting of hail yesterday, but no significant rain. We are so far behind in water storage.
Other person has his birthday today, so we’re picking up a gourmet veggie pizza and chocolate eclairs for dinner. Sounds good to me. 🙂

I could have maybe gone back and “tried” to add the border, but I had tried so long to get a gallery picture, I didn’t want to lose it, so I just decided to skip the fabric border this time and not worry about it. It didn’t affect the listing and that was the most important thing…

Dear Jeanne, I am glad you got some photo to appear. I can imagine how frustrating this is.
I wonder if there is any information in any of the ebay community sites. You might find some suggestions for fixing this there.

I looked in the Community section on Ebay and there were a few issues like this but most of them were dated back in 2017 or earlier… I’m hoping Ebay Tech support will help figure it out. At least I got the listing up and running… I just hope it stays. I was concerned that the Gallery picture might go out and then there is nothing to draw people to your listing…

Joy’s upcoming dinner sounds good to me too.
The whole Ebay layout with your beautiful indoor and outdoor pictures looks great. Only your fans will miss the strawberry fabric. The red and green borders look nice — not as pretty as the strawberry ones, but perfectly acceptable — and the story and the turtle will keep viewers focused on the cute outfit.
I do want everything straightened out and working smoothly, but this will certainly do.
And tomorrow – something new. Whether it’s paint or fabric, we’ll cheer you on.

I checked before I went to bed last night and saw Navi’s outfit had been posted, but there was no story and only the four pictures were showing. I just checked it again and saw all but the background was there. Definitely an improvement over yesterday. I love the adorable outfit and the story is great. Looks like things are at least close to back to normal.

So glad to see the EBay listing at last! It looks great, just that the borders aren’t there like you usually do it, but most other auctions don’t use that, so it is not that noticeable to most people. Only your “ fans “ know what’s missing! The listing looks so cute, and no doubt Navi will soon have to send Timmy away! No wonder she is pouting!
What a beautiful day here in the Midwest! I have been out cleaning up leaves that have blown into the flower beds over the winter, and if anyone has a Willow Oak tree, you know what a pain those leaves are! They are tiny, thin, much like willow leaves and they get everywhere, and I mean I everywhere! The tree is over 45 years old, so there are millions of leaves!

Yes, I’m thankful the listing is on Ebay… and just hope it stays there okay… I am going to have to break the news to Navi that Timmy has to go to someone else’s house… I’ll have to give her a frog instead to keep her occupied, I guess.
