Slips Galore!

I spent the day making more slips… because it seemed like everyone was interested. I needed to get some things in my Etsy shop anyway… So… I’ll try and get them in there as quickly as I can…

Oh, you want to know who won the drawing for the Patriotic slip? Well, I had 27 people enter and the winner has been a subscriber to my blog since the very beginning, but I can’t remember if she’s ever won anything in a Giveaway…

I shuffled everyone’s name and laid them out…

… and the winner is…

Oops…it’s upside down…

Try again Jeanne…

Linda Doyle! Yay for Linda. If I remember correctly, she wanted a slip for her Betsy McCall… One of the Little Darlings slips I made will probably fit, but I’ll have to double check.

I have 4 American Girl slips now… 3 Little Darlings, 2 for Navi sized dolls and 1 for Bailey sized dolls. I need to work on her slips as it was requested quite a bit.

It just turned 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, and I only managed to get 3 American Girl slips listed, so I’ll have to get the rest listed in my Etsy shop tomorrow. I just didn’t have time to get them all in there now…

Thanks everyone! I hope you enjoyed participating… we’ll do this again…

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Congratulations, Linda!! How exciting, to win one of these lovely slips!! I haven’t been on the blog quite as long as you have; perhaps some day it will be my turn to win a drawing?

Wow, Jeanne, you have been Busy, making all those slips!!! I need to get busy doing some dolly sewing again (including slips)…lately I’ve been trying to finish some gifts for our new great-nephew, who turned 2 months old today!! I’d better hurry before he outgrows/doesn’t need what I’m making!! (Several items, actually; will be happy to send pictures when I’m done, if anyone wants to see)

  2. Oh my gosh, I actually won! Betsy will be thrilled to finally get her very own Jeanne Marie slip! Thank you Jeanne!

  3. Yay Linda!! Betsy will love her new slip!
Jeanne, the picture of your slips, and all those red, white and blue slips, is so sparkly.
    That’s a lot of slips!!

I’ll send a picture of the Swifter girl soon.

    1. Hi Paula, LOL! Swiffer girl! How will she ever live that down? Can’t wait to see her. It reminds me of a story from our homeschool kick off the new year picnic one year. A sweet new lady came and we were all to bring a dish to share. She brought deviled eggs. While we were getting to know her, friends would reference her by “oh, she’s the deviled egg lady”. Diane said later she should have brought cookies, pie, or cake.

  4. Congrats to Linda! They are very sweet slips. Hope Jeanne has lots of Etsy sales too.
I would love to see Charlotte’s and Paula’s photos and maybe Linda will have a July 4th dolly grouping too.
It was 101 here in northern CA yesterday, so we’re pretty wilted. Yard too. Headed out to water before it gets any hotter.

  5. Yay, Linda! You and Betsy deserve this. Maybe you can send Jeanne some pictures of the outfits Betsy wears with her new slip. You’ll have it in time for July 4, and Jeanne will have the many, many others in her Etsy shop so that more of us will be able to have them by then too. Congratulations again!

  6. Congratulations Linda! This is your Lucky Month and there is still a lot of it left :0)
The pictures of the slips all lined up by size makes a great display! They will disappear fast!
The Meadow Doll with her hands on her hips made me laugh out loud. Fun post.

    1. Hi Kathie, I laughed at Jeanne’s bailey with her hands on her hips as well. She definitely thinks she’s hot stuff. Of course, those of the vinyl persuasion can’t really be spoiled.

  7. Congratulations Linda! I know your Betsy will be delighted to receive her new slip. Be sure to send a picture of her in her oufit with the new slip under it.

I love the pictures of all the slips! Cute picture of Bailey.

I didn’t realized it got so hot in northern California. We’re having a lovely respite here right now with highs not above 90 and humidity low. Nighttime temps are in the 60s. Sadly it won’t last for long. They say if this type front comes through in the winter we would have freezing temps. I opt for something in between.

  8. Dear Jeanne, the girls all look adorable. I look forward to your next project.

    Congratulations to Linda.

Any word from little miss Sarah? Is she back home yet? She is such a sweetie.

  9. Congratulations Linda! I know your Betsy will be delighted with her new Patriotic slip. Can’t wait to see what you dress her in.

Jeanne you were very busy sewing all those sweet slips. Love seeing them all lined up in a row.

  10. Linda, congrats to you! Your Betsy will be so happy. I hope we get to see a picture!

I rushed right over to Etsy and purchased a slip for my American Girls. Can’t wait to try it on with a patriotic dress. My first article of Jeanne Marie Couture!

  11. Yay, Linda wins!!!! Congratulations! Betsy will be delighted with her new slip. I agree, you will definitely have to send pictures of her and I’m sure Molly and your other girls are getting geared up for summer fun and the 4th.
What a lovely array of patriotic slips, Jeanne. Now all dolls can be festively dressed

  12. Congratulations Linda! Your Betsy doll will be so happy when she gets her new slip. Jeanne has been very productive with the slip making.
