Who remembers Angelina Ballerina?

First of all, sorry about not answering your comments yesterday… but I did read them.. Joy, your bird story was incredible!

Today I have a doll for sale… well, sort of a doll… actually 2 of them! It’s Angelina and her twin sister, Angelina! I’ve had this set of 2 plush dolls for a while and decided it was time to let them go… I’ll try to describe them as best I can… they aren’t completely perfect, but parts of them are… They are almost pristine and are really wonderful except for a few things…

The whole lot is for 2 Angelina plush dolls, a plush Polly doll, 2 brand new ballerina tutu’s, 4 books; 2 of them are the same, and the box. Now I’ll describe them for you…

There are 2 plush Angelina dolls… one is absolutely perfect, the other one is perfect except she has gotten some kind of very faint spot on her head. I didn’t notice it until I was taking pictures of it. I highlighted the area with some computer dots around it to show you where it is. I took my pictures to show the spot, but it blends in very well.

The spot is very light and almost unnoticeable if it weren’t pointed out. It has no odor and may be an age spot…but I’m not positive.

The clothes have never been removed from either doll and are as nice as the day the dolls were dressed.

There are 2 tutu’s that are brand new and never put on the dolls.

Polly is included and is cute as a button… she’s like new…

There are 4 books… 2 of them are the Angelina Ballerina books…with dust jackets.

One is the Christmas book with a dust jacket and has a name written inside the cover…

The other book, Angelina and Alice, has the first page torn… There are no marks in any of the books except for what I mentioned.

There is a box with a scene inside for Polly. The top of the box is a clear lid.

I thought someone might have 2 granddaughters or nieces and this might make a fun gift for them.

I’m asking $20.00 plus the price of shipping to your address. The books make it pretty heavy… 4 pounds, in fact!

The first one who emails me or comments and says, “It’s mine” gets it.. I’ll let you know the shipping.

See you soon,
Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, I remember Angelina Ballerina–I think it was one of Pleasant Company’s (AG Dolls) products a number of years ago.

Some little girl will love these!

    1. Hi Charlotte,
Yes, they are from the line of the AG dolls. they are soft and squishy and will make some little girl or girls very happy!
      Thanks Charlotte,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. I do have two granddaughters, but at 13 and 16, I think I will pass on these! However, I had Angelina and Polly, plus Henry, and a few of the friends, clothes, buggy, and even furniture for them when they were small, and they loved those little dolls! We watched Angelina videos all the time, they are just darling, and I think she is still on PBS. I will say someone will find this to be a very nice Christmas present for some lucky little girl, or girls!
One thing, Jeanne, you didn’t say how big they are. I can’t remember exactly, but I know they are big enough to play well with, and yet small enough not to take up a lot of room.

    How about this wonderful weather???

    1. HI Linda,
Yep… I think your 13 and 16 year old granddaughters might think Grandma was a little kooky if you got these Angelina’s for them! It sounds like you had quite the menagerie of Angelina stuff. I think they are so adorable!

I didn’t put the size on them as I didn’t know how to measure…from their feet to their ears or the top of their heads… They are roughly 9 or 10″ tall. They have jointed arms and legs so they can sit or stand…

Yes, this weather is something to be happy about! I’m loving it… you can get so much more done outside in these temperatures!
      Thanks Linda,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. I sent Angelina and a lot of her wardrobe to my goddaughter Bella, not knowing that she loved the books. That was one of my most successful gifts. She made her family come into her room to watch Angelina dance. Someone is going to love this set.
We’re having another lovely cool day here too. I hope everyone is.

    1. HI Marilyn,
It looks like Shara is going to be the “successful grandma” this time.. I see that she wants them… They really are the sweetest little mice ever made… stuffed ones, that is!
It’s lovely here too… I think Fall is on the way… it got down to 57 degrees last night and today is starting out so wonderful…
      Thanks Marilyn,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. Jeanne..
I have 2 great granddaughters.. Charlotte is almost 3 and Ella wil be 5. They would LOVE your Angelinas if they are still available!
    Crossing my fingers❤️

    1. HI Shara,
I am thrilled that someone can use the Angelina dolls. I’ll send you an email with my paypal address, or if you want you can just send me a check… you can decide…
Thanks Shara… I’m sure they will be loved! YAY!!!
      Blessings, Jeanne

      1. I’m so glad that these mice are going to a good home and will be loved — I’m sure they will be. You are doing very well on your sales — and we are getting great prices for lovely things.

        1. Hi Marilyn,
Yes, so far so good! This is much quicker than listing them on Ebay.. .and saving all those fees is great too!
          :o) Jeanne

  5. Definitely remember Angelina. Her furniture is a great fit for some of my dolls. I have the buggy and several other pieces.
Fog is in today, but should clear by noon and be a lovely day. Definitely fall like.

    1. HI Joy,
I am glad they have found a home… they will be loved, I’m sure. I think the buggy is the sweetest piece of all!
It must be Fall-ish everywhere today… we are really enjoying the break from the humidity!
Have a great day! I plan to!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  6. Dear Jeanne, I am glad the dolls have found a new home.

Today, I am going to take Afternoon Tea at my favorite tea salon. Tomorrow, I have a doll play date with a friend who is in my UFDC chapter, my Iplehouse group, and my ning group. We always have so much fun! We will be taking photos of our Little Darlings. We both got new Bonekas so we will be photographing them also.

Taking tea and talking about dolls, my favorite ways to end a week!

    1. HI Dorothy,
Yes, it’s wonderful that all my dolls (and even the mice) have found new homes…
Oh how fun to have a play date with some other dolly lovers… that must be a blast when you all get together!
Take pictures you can share with all of us… you know how we ALL love everyone else’s dolly pictures! :o)
Have lots of fun and drink lots of tea!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  7. Angelina Ballerina brings back such sweet memories. Love by all the “girlies” in my family. How ironic that you posted about them just now…as I am in the midst of downsizing. Not something that I want done but needs to be done due to health issues. I cherish hardbound books and hate parting with them. A few days ago my granddaughter, age 20, came to start on the bookcase and take what she wanted. She left and on top of one of her piles was Angelina Ballerina. She has all of the books you have pictured and if she wasn’t 20 I would have made a bid for your dolls.

Dorothy in PA ….nothing is better than Afternoon Tea. We woke up this morning and the temps have dropped by 20+ degrees, nice wind coming on the ocean and best of all the humidity has dropped a great deal. It won’t last long though as heat and humidity is to return next week but I will take this weather anyday.

    1. HI Sandra,
That is SO sweet that you saw your granddaughter take the Angelina books. She must really love them, or maybe it just brought back fond memories of a while back! I hope she reads it again.
We’ve had spectacular weather the last 2 days, but I think rain is coming tomorrow… so much for our wonderful streak of nice weather. Oh well, such is the nature of the seasons!
      Have a nice week, Sandra,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  8. Yes, I remember Angelina Ballerina as well as Girls of Many lands and the Hopscotch Hill dolls. We never bought any of those things, went straight to the PC historicals when my daughter was five and she stayed that way. The concept was really cute.

Dorothy, afternoon tea and a dollie play date sounds wonderful!!

    1. Hi Laura,
I haven’t ever seen a Hopscotch Hill doll or a Girl of Many Lands doll, but I’d probably head to the historical dolls too… I just picked up 4 new pieces of Civil War fabrics when my hubby and I were out of town… I haven’t even had a chance to see what I have that will go with them… I mean lace and button wise… I’ll have to show you ….
      Thanks Laura,
      Blessings, Jeanne
