Wow, just think the winner of this sweater (and all the others that will be won) will be able to say they have on an International Fashion from Anne’s Boutique in New Zealand! This was the sweater up for this drawing…
…and the winner of this one is Sissy, down in Georgia! She was hoping to win it for Mae… guess you’ll have to start planning what you will make to go with it and show us when it’s finished! Congratulations… I’ll get this out as soon as I can… I’m not sure what my Saturday holds.

Oh, congratulations, Sissy! When I read your post on yesterday’s blog, I was thinking, “I hope she gets it.” And you did! What will you make for Mae to go with it? I was thinking a rose-colored dress or skirt/blouse. But perhaps Mae would do better in slacks or overalls, if she’s a very active little girl!
Ingrid, you mentioned “morning brain fog”. Actually brain fog is a very real thing, often caused by grief. Since you lost your parents not too long ago, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it was grief-related brain fog. I have found, since losing Ron 17 months ago, it can come of go, even after this much time. Be sure to be good to yourself, and don’t try to do too much all at once if you don’t have to. Take frequent breaks, have lunch with a friend, do little things just for you. Hugs.
Wow, Mae is jumping up and down and will be so glad to have something new to wear, especially something so special!! She will have to wait for a bit because we just got back from Helen yesterday, and there is a lot to do around here.
Anne, thank you so very much For your generosity to us. My sweet Mae has gone right to her pencil and paper to write you a thank you note. We are headed for water aerobics soon so I will see if her writing is up to her best when I get back.
