~ PINK PERFECTION ~ is now listed on Ebay…

Hi everyone,
I did it!!! Yu Ping’s new pink dress set is on Ebay and will end Saturday evening… I’m not too sure the night before Easter is a good night for an auction to end, but it is what it is.

Here are a few pictures of it and then you can click on the picture at the right side bar to be taken to the Ebay listing.

Well, I’m off to work a little while in my sewing room… it’s a wreck again. Too many projects going on at once!

I’ll see you tomorrow!
Blessings, Jeanne

Congrats on getting Yu Ping’s outfit listed on ebay! It’s such a cute outfit. I hope it does very well.

I’ve gotten my stuff ready for taxes–I have an appointment at 2 tomorrow (Tuesday). It took me a while to get all the 2025 stuff pulled out of the files, and the appropriate things separated. I’m also going to take Ron’s car in for an oil change in the morning, too. It’s been over a year, I think, but I only drive it about once a week, so it’s probably in better shape than if I did drive it often! The dealership will have to give me a ride home so I can take my own car up to my appt. And then the dealership will come and get me on Wed., so I can pick up Ron’s car at that time.

I meant to add, the board shorts came today, and now Nolan is begging for some time in my sewing room so he can pick out shirt fabric!! He can’t wait to wear them, but when your high is 46, it’s a little to cold yet!!

I finally got all my stuff together for taxes (two businesses and personal) and took it up to our tax guy on Friday. I usually take it myself but was glad to have David with me because my tax guy’s office is in a weird location. On a main street but the street is elevated with steep steps up to it and the sidewalk in front is uneven so getting there with a cane could be a bit scary so David took it in for me. I sure do hope my orthopedic doctor can remedy this situation. Some of it involves straightening my right lower leg so everything else will fall back in place. But their specialty is sports medicine so I’m sure they’ve seen it all. David told me to stop fretting over it since I don’t have any real idea of what he will need to do. I try not to but…

Darling outfit, Jeanne! It looks equally cute on Bailey as it does on Yu Ping! Good luck with the auction!

Have to get going here since this is the last really good day to do anything outdoors, with rain coming. It will be 85 here, so swim suits and trunks would be good!

Charlotte, you are two hours behind me, just what in the world are you doing up so late? I can’t think of one thing I would be doing after dinner, and that. Is early for most of you!

I looked at the time of Charlotte’s post and it seems to me she is both a Nightingale and a Lark. My question is, when does she sleep?

  3. Jeanne, this listing is so adorable. The pictures are so cute with these precious poses. Oh my goodness, YuPing is a cutiepie.
Good luck tidying up the sewing space. My sewing space looks like an explosion.
So the routine here, if we can stick to it, is to go to the old house after lunch and continue to clean up.
At some point though we will have cleaned up and then we need to hire people to paint and such. So much to do
Yesterday we worked in the yard for over two hours cleaning up a severely over grown butterfly bush. — just chopping the large branches into small pieces for the trash guys to accept.
I also planted about a dozen plants in the gardens over there, ones that I rejected from this new yard: Liriope and Nandina. Today I will go over and water and feed.
Then I will happily come home and sew a bit.
I hope all of you are enjoying some nice weather, there is a lot of pollen out there.
Hubbs and I have been sneezing a lot!
Today is going to be 80º…. I think. We certainly could use some rain (for my newly planted plants at the old place)

Love the listing pics. Bailey looks adorable in the outfit too. I do love the shorter length as it seems more like what kids are wearing now.
Here, no rain yet, but it is raining in areas around us, so there is hope that we will get a little too. That moisture will help loosen some of those weeds hopefully. They were very stubborn yesterday when I was again trying to yank out some big ones. Hate it when one snaps off at the base and you know that it will regrow probably even larger. Ugh And the gravel or soil was too hard to even get in my weed digger. So, we’ll see how it goes today.
I have my eye appointment today which is late this afternoon. I like them in the early morning, but that was the only available time so, I probably won’t be able to see any tv or read anything this evening.
A friend dropped off a pot with seeds planted yesterday. They are from a rare Japanese maple tree that he has in his yard. I’m hoping that they may sprout as some others I had planted appear to not have germinated. It was so nice of him and I hope to see some sprouts soon. 🙂

In the past I was the one to do the weeding around here and usually tried to attack it after a rain so it would be easier. My grandson does the weeding now and since he’s not always available after a rain, he often has to run the hose for awhile to loosen things up. I also hate to go to pull a weed and end up with half of it in my hand and the rest firmly planted in the ground. I just know it’s laughing at me.

Barbara and Joy, one of my burning questions every year is why do snails eat plants but not weeds? There is a garden full of lush dandelions and other weeds but my Hostas look like skeletons!

I’d love to know the answer to this too. We have lots of succulent weeds here but I once had an English garden and between the slugs and the moles eating the roots my garden was gone in a flash.

Dear Jeanne, she is adorable in her outfit. I am sure that the Mama who gets the ensemble for her dolly daughter will be so happy.

Jeanne, I love both girls in the outfit! I would be surprised if you didn’t have more that one person wanting one.

I have to work in my sewing room, too, we live far away from each other, doing the same things, LOL!

I envy y’all working in your yards, I used to be able to do work in our yards for hours. Yesterday a guy came by to check out what we need in ours and gave a decent cost. I will be glad when his worker comes to work. Don’t y’all work to hard!!

    Have a good day all.

I don’t really miss the yard work I used to do but I do miss the ability to do it if needed. Right now I can’t even wash my windows so I will have my grandson do that for me once he’s on summer break from school. My orthopedic appointment is May 1st and the kids get out of school around the middle of May so I’m hoping I can “employ” my granddaughter to come do some vacuuming for me while my grandson does the outdoor things. I’m thinking some surgery may be required to fix my problem so I’m getting all my ducks in a row. Skyy will do whatever I need wherever it is but Jaiden will only work indoors in the summer, but I may need help with that too.

Oh, Barbara, I do hope you can get some help that will make you better. At least you have help with the young folks, but I do wish you could find a way to get better!

  7. The outfit is super cute. It’s great it fits two dolls. I especially like it on Bailey because she’s smiling.
Up in the 70s already. The yard and weeds are calling.

I love this adorable outfit. I just noticed the self-fabric hatband. Very nice touch. I saw where you posted Bailey wearing this outfit on the Meadow Fan Page. Looks great on her too.

I’m still trying to get into my sewing room. I think I might make it this week. All my “have tos” are taken care of and I’m trying to catch up on some other things – even laundry takes me more time these days and I have to wait for someone to carry it into the bedroom for me so I can put it away. Using a cane makes a person one-handed. Hopefully that will be over soon.

Warm day here but overcast so it’s at least tolerable. Think I’ll go sit a spell on the porch (on my new storage building) this afternoon. Get me some fresh air.

It is 6C here this morning which is about 42F. It is way too early to be this cold. I missed winter last year, I wish I could miss it every year and just enjoy spring and summer.
Yu Ping is very cute in her pretty pink outfit. I hope she does well for you.
Asher has an appointment today at the university to assess her for autism. This is her last week of school before the Easter term ends and today would have been her last day of classes. She will be home for 2 1/2 weeks. Unlike US our kids have 4 terms with a break of two weeks between 3 of them and the fourth, Christmas/Summer they have 6 weeks.
It is a long weekend here, for people in 9-5, Monday to Friday jobs anyway. Friday and Monday are Public Holidays.
    Have a good day everyone
