Hi everyone
I have to admit, this outfit came together pretty quickly and I received a bid on it this morning! I was sitting in church this morning with my purse touching my leg, when I felt a “buzz” from my phone. I looked at it a few minutes later and saw it was a bid! Yay!
I really did enjoy making this romper even with the hiccup on the waistline.
If you’d like to see it on Ebay, you can click on the picture at the right-side bar, or you can click HERE.
I wanted to get something new started but I needed to work at getting my sewing room back in order before I figure out who is next.
If you haven’t seen Ten Ping’s extra few pieces, I’ll show you…
First, I think it was Joy who asked for a hairbow in case she didn’t want to wear the cap, but wanted to look a little more girlie!
Then, how about a book bag? Well, it’s not a book bag, exactly, but a book strap. I made a leather strap to wrap around the two books she picked out.
I made the leather strap long so it could just be wrapped around your doll’s wrist. I wouldn’t leave the black leather wrapped or tied around her wrist for long periods of time… or if you do, wrap a small piece of saran wrap or a piece of tape around her wrist. I’ve never had any of my black leather stain anything, but I sure wouldn’t want to start now!
Well, I need to get to bed… I have lots going on this week.
Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, this just turned out so cute, Jeanne! I love it all! And those books!! Well, you know *I* would love those books!! And of course so would Gigi, as they would be just the right size for her. I’m glad she hasn’t figured out how to use the computer yet, or there would be some “issues” here!
I’m not at all surprised you already have a bid. It just has so many things going for it.
This turned out so cute, Jeanne, and you just don’t see many outfits like this for dolls this size! All the pieces and even the cute little bootstrap and books just make it so special! I’m not surprised that somebody wants to “scoop” it up already!
I guess everyone is getting ready for fall festivities now with their dolls. This could also be worn to the pumpkin patch, and would make cute pictures there too!
This is the most adorable ensemble ever. I love each item, but especially Ten-Ping. She is the cutest little doll, and she really models these cutie pants and shirt so nicely, perfect!
I love the little shoes too!
I guess bleeding from dyed leather is something everyone needs to know.
I know it can happen with any plastic dolls – to some degree, or maybe just a tiny bit.
I know this will sell at a very high price, what a treasure
Happy Monday dear ones.
So, yesterday, I happened upon a cute little Ten Ping outfit on Facebook. It was Jeanne’s, of course. All of the adorable little accessories are perfect. When I checked, I was delighted to see that there was a bid. Go Jeanne, go!
It seems so long ago, but I was so glad to get out and back to deck work. I think it was late Friday, when I could focus again after my eye appointment, but I did a power wash on the lower deck to get it ready for painting. So, yesterday, back to work for other person late in the day. I had other plans after my lab appointment. Great time for an appointment Sunday afternoon. Just a few minutes of wait time. Presume everyone else was watching a game. 🙂 Finally, had a few minutes to sew on the collar/facing of that dress I’ve been working on ever so slowly. Hoping to zip up the side seams today.
It’s only in the low 50’s right now, but going to heat up again the next few days before more rain. I’m trying to hard not to turn on the heat, but I did put in new filters the other day. And we’re really behind on upkeep at the other house. Always something.
This is just darling. And Ten Ping is ready for school with her books too.
I just love the fall color of her outfit.
I’m sure the buds will be busy.
Charlotte will have to guard her computer so Gigi doesn’t see this outfit!
I’ve been dealing with a very sore wrist and will most likely have to have surgery on it. After therapy last year, it was ok hitchhike but now it’s do fire and difficult to use in ordinary situations. Today, I have another appointment that will lead to a specialist.
Right now I have a new project – I’m converting a room in our home into my “ she shed.” Part dolls and other family treasures. I’m calling it the Scottish Highland because our ancestors came from Scotland ( G.Britain) obviously. It’s been fun reorganizing things but my wrist can only do so much. Hopefully I can manage to get the hard work done before any surgery.
Have a great day ladies!
Oh, so sorry about the wrist. Is it from arthritis or something else. Let us know how it goes.
Your she shed room sounds wonderful. Pictures? When done? 🙂
Well done, Jeanne, and a bid already! It is well worth it and I believe there will be more bids!
Paula, I am so sorry about your wrist! I do hope you can manage it, maybe it will get better and you won’t have to have surgery. I hope so.
We got our pool exercise today. Came home, took care of the swim suits, put in some laundry, and I started moving stuff out of the bathroom part of the laundry because the pest control found that the window in there had termites. So now we may have to have a new window. They are coming back on Thursday to put stuff in to kill the termites. What fun!!, NOT!
Yikes! Termites are not pleasant at all. Hopefully, they have checked the foundation as here they come up from the ground. In fact, many have to have their houses tented to get rid of them. Not fun.
What a perfect outfit for Fall and back-to-school. I thought that you meant the fabric was pumpkin colored but see where it’s not the color but the design of the fabric. Silly me. I like the option of having both the choice of a cap or bow. I like the new shoes. I really love the fabric of the long-sleeved tee shirt. Of all my different knit fabrics I don’t have anything like that. Wonderful outfit. Not surprised you already have a bid. I’m sure they’re more to come.
I didn’t know that there were pumpkins on the fabric either! I just had to go back and enlarge to see them. Adorable fabric. Thanks for the tip. 🙂
Dear Jeanne, Ten Ping looks adorable. Another award-winning outfit completed!
