Hi everyone,
It’s official! I am SICK of BOARD SHORTS!
Probably because I’ve spent all day and now it’s tomorrow (Wednesday), getting pictures and redoing my listings done for the Swimsuits, Flip Flops/Thongs and Board Shorts for the 14.5″ Ruby Red Fashion Friends. There were duplicates and on Etsy you can copy a listing from an existing listing, but it can be confusing because I was listing the exact same board shorts, but the design was slightly different and I had to make sure I didn’t get anything mixed up… BUT I DID! I counted and stacked and put in piles, many times, and still I got a bit lost doing it… so I’d have to recount and match up everything on my table with what I had listings for. I still have a few pair of shorts to list, but I’ll see what happens and get them done another day.
Here is a picture of Russell laying among all the shorts and flip flops… I think it’s a pretty neat picture…
Here are the flip flops…
Anyway, if you’d like to see what’s been keeping me busy for awhile, you can check out my Etsy shop and see all the pretty colors! :o)
I decided to charge a flat shipping fee of $5.00 for the highest priced item that is bought and then .25 cents for each additional item bought after that.

I Dream of Jeanne Marie on Etsy
I will see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Oh, my, Jeanne, you have been busy! I can see why you are sick of board shorts, though–you have made quite a few pair! I was glad to see a few swimsuits for girls as well, and even some shoes that fit Ten Ping! (Shhh, don’t tell Gigi that! She’ll want them!)
Anyway everything looks lovely, and I hope you sell many items!
Our weather seems to think it’s still March–we had almost an inch of rain today. The good news is, a lot of it fell as snow up in the mountains. Our snowpack has been way below normal this year, and, since some areas depend on the melting snowpack for their water supply, people have been concerned. Our particular area relies more on the rain (of which we’ve had great plenty, thank you very much!), so we don’t have to worry about the snowpack so much.
Wow, Jeanne, what a great bunch of lovely summer things! What fun they would have in the pool or at the beach, or sliding down the big slides at a fun place…or riding down the water on a tube! I can’t wait until we go to a family reunion in Crystal River FL in July. We will be diving for scallops in the Gulf of Mexico and swimming in the clear springs in the river. I just hope the weather is good.
We are parched for rain here. Yesterday I spent 2 hours outside watering plants and then spraying them with “Deer Out”. I had sprayed my clothes and didn’t get any ticks for once!! Our friend the surveyor will be here this afternoon and I will ask him about the neighbor’s other trees. I know there is something you can write about next door trees that could be dangerous to our property. Some how that can help if you have things written down. We will see. Our neighbor on the other side is very kind. When I told him one of his trees next to us was dead he immediately had it cut down. I will talk to the other neighbors about checking their trees.
Oh Jeanne, what a darling array of summer fun items! I certainly do know what you mean about being sick of making something over and over! Making just TWO identical items makes me itch all over! I like doing one of a kind!
But, what a cute bunch of swim shorts and flip flops! And to see swimsuits for the girls too, makes it double the fun! So much to debate over!
As far as weather here, we need rain, and supposedly we will get some today. Seems like when we see it on the radar towards the west moving east, everything falls apart when it gets here. So instead of cutting the grass twice a week, we only need to cut it once a week. I guess there is an upside to everything!
Quickie note, good morning dear ones.
Jeanne, your summer shop is superb. Well done! Perfect timing too! I love the outfits
and the sandals are incredible!
Christina came yesterday and we had a fun time toiling through the stuff at the house.
It was misery and fun. – really.
I am getting ready now to go back to the house and help her load up the huge van. then she will eventually have to drive home 🙁
I hope every one of you has a very good day.
The Summer Collection is so uplifting. It’s only 43 here this morning. Love the swimwear and sandals. Every Ruby Red is going to be clamoring to be first to wear something from Jeanne’s Boutique.
Lucky me, but I somehow managed to get another delivery inside undetected. I knew that I had a package arriving yesterday in the mail. If it was our regular guy, it would probably arrive around ten. So, I kept an eye out and saw the truck driving past. Yikes! Now what? I ran through the house hoping to be first at the door to retrieve the mail. Other person was in the office and not on the couch. I heard the footsteps coming up the thirteen steps and hoped that other person did not. Then, a slight thud and the mailbox lid dropped too. No noise from the office. Good. I carefully opened the door with the intention of stashing the package under the bench, but in my panicking mode, I grabbed the box and brought it inside and set it by the door. In plain sight really. Not a good move. Then, I went back out and opened the mailbox and took out the mail. Then back inside, I placed the mail on the back of the couch and picked up the box. Then, a quiet sprint to the family room to stash the box in that secret holding spot. Back into the living room, picked up the mail and took it into the office. Other person had not heard a thing and quickly became engrossed in the Safeway ad. Shaking my head, I returned to chores. I couldn’t believe what I had accomplished. Shortly after, other person headed to Safeway, and I grabbed the box, opened the tape and pulled the box out from the shipper. There was little George in his wedding paige attire. I’ve always wanted him and my timing was right. He’s a cutie and may need some swim attire when the weather warms up. It was exciting to open a box right away. The timing was perfect yesterday. 🙂
Off to the dentist this morning.
Hope you send a picture of cutie George. Thanks for your opinion on the Tweens. Since I have Moppet Bailey still to pay for owning a tween is pretty far down the road. Have fun at the dentist.
Excellent immediate response and very fortunate execution, Joy!
I love pressies in the mail! Yippee
