Hi everyone,
It’s Friday again and that means the weekend is upon us!
Barbara sent me the pictures of her girls in the swimming pool… and I plan to show them Monday. They are the cutest poses ever!
I worked like the dickens and got Lavender’s new set listed on Ebay. You can see it by clicking the picture at the right sidebar or you can click HERE.
I was working on it right at dinner time, so my hubby had to fend for himself! OOPS!
Here are some of the pictures that didn’t make it into the listing… there were just too many to use.
Well, this closes another week of dolly delights for you to enjoy! I hope you’ll check out the other pictures in the Ebay listing!
See you Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne

Another fabulous ensemble for our dolls! I’m glad you showed the pieces on two different dolls, and did some mixing and matching, too. With all the fun accessories, this is a good choice for someone who doesn’t yet have a lot of things for her dolls (or for someone who Does! 😂)
I’m looking forward to seeing Barbara’s pictures on Monday.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
These photos are just darling, Jeanne! I love how you showed them on two dolls! Now we have to wait and see how many dolly mom’s try to get them!
I hope to get some of my Kish doll’s outfits up for sale today after we get back from the pool.
I can’t wait to see the pool girls on Monday.
Happy Weekend everyone!
Superb photos Jeanne, I love all of the items together making so many styling ensembles! I think this will be an exciting sale!
Photos of girls at the pool is always lovely. I am looking forward to Monday’s presentation
Happy Friday dear ones. Enjoy a nice week-end. It has warmed back up here in Northern Virginia, going to be in the mid 80’s
What a perfect little wardrobe set for some lucky dolls! That is perfect how you showed the two different combinations and of course, there could actually be 4! I know how difficult it can be when you get a new doll and have no clothes for her, plus no other clothes that you do have fit! The pictures are darling!
Looking forward to Barbara’s swimming scene, although I’m afraid, since the pools have closed here, there won’t be anywhere for them to swim! Good think she has her own pool!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Both girls must have been happy to model this outfit in different ways. Some lucky Ruby Red will be wearing it soon. The girls did a splendid job in modeling it along with great backgrounds.
I wrote late yesterday and had asked Joy where she found the cute bowl of berries. I thought her little girl looked adorable in the new outfit Joy made too. The style and material choice was very pretty.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend- we were told the weather here ( Ohio )would be cooling off and I’m looking forward to fall weather.
I absolutely love Jeanne’s photos. My very favorite is the one of the girls sitting on the porch rail. They look like they are relaxing and enjoying the last days of summer. Good work Jeanne getting everything listed. 🙂
So, yesterday afternoon I buckled down and managed to scrub the flat surface of the upper deck stopping where we had moved the bbq and other items. So the flat part is ready for paint. But, those railings are such a pain with all of the little pieces attached to the posts, so I still have them to go. I’ll have to move stuff on the lower deck as well before I can get the ladder underneath. So, not quite done yet with my work. Then, after I cleaned up, I rolled in the awning as it was supposed to rain. No rain. A couple of hours later, I looked outside and saw the deck still wet. Well, it did rain a tiny bit, and we had some lightning too. This morning, it’s Trader Joe’s and Home Depot to pick up paint and get another scrub brush. I so want this done.
Hey, Paula, I did see your post yesterday and answered. No problem, I’ll repeat. The little bucket of berries prop was something I probably picked up at a thrift store some years back. No idea of the maker. Sorry. And Anne wrote late yesterday too, so everyone take a look if you get a chance.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. You know what I’ll be doing. 🙂
Just lost my reply! I’ll try again. Thank you for the info on the little bowl of berries. Some of those little treasures are found in thrift stores and I try to keep my eye out for them.
I also like some of your background scenes that you put your dolls in. I especially like the camp you did a couple of years ago and it would be fun if Jeannie could put that back on her blog for everyone to see again.
Jeannie and Linda both do pretty neat scenes too. To me, that’s the fun I enjoy – creating backgrounds for my AMG dolls, although I haven’t done a scene for a long time.
Oh, Camp Meadow. That was awhile back. 🙂 I would love to see one of your scenes. Get right on that eh? I know, so much time to do. 🙂
Dear Jeanne, I am happy that you got the outfits finished and posted. Now you can have a restful weekend.
I just saw on the calendar that Monday, September 22 will be the first day of Fall. Nooooo! I want May back (smile).
Wishing you and the Sofa Sisters a lovely weekend.
NOOOOO!!! I love May too but what follows here is nothing I look forward to. Being a Yankee born and bred the first day of Fall means cooler weather is coming. Unfortunately I still think that even though I’ve been in SE Texas since 1969. I face day after day of disappointment but I’m programmed to think cool at this time of year and I can’t seem to change that. Halloween costumes have always been a problem for me here. One year I dressed my daughter as a Care Bear. It was so hot she walked around with the head under her arm all evening. It was too hot to wear. Once it was a furry bunny. Too hot that year too. Then one year Sean was a Ninja Turtle and he should have been something much warmer because it was frigid and he trick or treated by me driving him around, him jumping out of the car and doing a few houses and jumping back in the car to warm up. In short the weather here at this time of year can be unpredictable but Fall-like is rarely one of them.
Dear Barbara, don’t forget about us here in PA (smile). It will be cooler here soon also.
My rooms stay cool year-round. That would be a good thing if I liked cold weather but I don’t. In the Summer, I turn my heater on some days for a few hours just to take away the chill. It is definitely not fun being a “cold” person and craving warm temperatures when most people are happy for a chilly clime.
When I go to doll conventions, my roommate and I always argue (in a funny way) over what temperature the room should be. When she leaves the room, I turn up the thermostat to about 76. When she returns, she “sneaks” and turns it down to about 72.
Hotels are always freezing so I like to come back to a comfortably warm room. I may have to get one of those stadium blankets that have heating coils (laugh).
Have a nice weekend.
I’m cold most of the time, too, Dorothy. I’m most comfortable in the mid 70s to low 80s temperature range. I think this year I’m going to get an electric blanket or maybe an electric mattress pad for my bed, because if I’m too cold, I can’t sleep!
I loved the way you took pictures of the entire outfit using two dolls. Both ensembles are adorable. I really love that blouse with the ruffle. It can go with so many things especially when the shoes are included. All the pictures are too cute. I’ll be checking out the listing.
Jeanne….Wonderful ensemble you have posted…I especially like the sweet blouse and the cross-body leather purse! And the shoes that really tie in with the other green colors of the outfit!
I just emailed my photos of the Siblie doll and the closet full of outfits that I finished in time for my Great Granddaughters 10th Birthday. There are photos of my Great Granddaughter, Delilah, opening the doll and the wardrobe, photos of each outfit with accessories, the doll bed I made, with a cushion on the doll-sized chair and a little dog bed for the puppy. I can hardly wait to get back to more sewing for the Ruby Red dolls, and hopefully for another Siblie Doll again when I am able to order one for myself to keep! Already, I’m thinking of a few more outfits for Delilah’s doll as Christmas is around the corner…and maybe a school room setting for her Siblie Doll! Delilah liked the little book-bag that had three books and a little pencil that was a real lead pencil! It would be fun making and shopping for little school room accessories before Dec. 25th!
Been doing artwork for my youngest daughter and college-aged Granddaughter’s Birthday coming up, and have two more paintings to accomplish for son-in-law and middle daughter’s Birthdays in Nov. and that will wrap up the family Birthday’s for 2025! Nov. and Dec. will be devoted to seeing what I come up with for this year’s Santa figures for family!
Thank you ahead of time if you decide to share my photos on your site! It makes my days to read about other fellow doll lovers who also enjoy sewing and/or collecting dolls displayed in their outfits.
I think a school scene would be so fun. Hope you can find everything and put it together. Then, share it here of course. 🙂
Can’t wait to see your pictures, Elizabeth! You always put so much time and attention into everything you make!
