Linda, I was going to use your title ” A Valentine Delight” when I saw your first sentence in your comments… and I completely forgot to use it when I sat down to list the set on Ebay…BUT… all is not lost, I’ll use it for something else… Surely, I can make another outfit that will be “delightful” enough to bear that name! :o)
I had another busy day… being the driver for my hubby and our Pastor picking “up” the vans this morning. Then he wanted us to come to his house and look at his kitchen cabinets… he wants to paint them white, “he thinks” and wanted to ask me some questions. I just offered opinions not volunteering anything… My hubby worked on raising up two of the cabinets… so I had to wait on him before I could come home.
I had to hurry to get the listing for Noel on Ebay… but I did it. I didn’t sleep very well last night, so I’m going to bed early tonight… I didn’t get anything else done in my sewing room done… sorry…

Oh Jeanne, I had no idea that I was proposing a title to the EBay listing! No worries about that! But I will say that it certainly IS a Valentine delight! I don’t know who wouldn’t be thrilled to win this set!

Just a quick note to let you know my big laptop died tonight, and my little netbook (which is very old….) won’t let me post on your blog. Please pass the word to the Sofa Sisters, that I’m okay, just having computer problems! Hopefully I can either get it fixed or replaced sooner rather than later. This little netbook is handy, and I’m glad I have it, but it is So. Slow.!! Plus it doesn’t want to hook up to my wifi, so I’m having to use the ethernet cord! Glad I have that option, though!!
Your outfit for Noel is just darling, and I’m sure some little dolly is going to be thrilled with it!

I’m hoping that we see some sun later as right now, we have heavy tule fog. Very gloomy. Sounds about like St. Louis. Along with that, all I can see are spots of green sprouting where they shouldn’t be. Tons of weeds just about everywhere. They certainly have enjoyed the rain we’ve been having.
I wonder which doll will be up next at Jeanne’s?

Glad Charlotte is ok. Noel looks very sweet. It is very foggy here with a lot of mist in the air. It is hard to see far when driving. Avila turned 5 on Monday. Hope Jeanne gets enough rest.

Hallelujah the sun is shining brightly today! Another day of rain and gloom and I would have had to turn to antidepressants. Just joking but the weather was sapping my energy. I love a rainy day now and then, especially when I can spend it in my sewing room, but three in a row often with torrential downpours every now and then was two too many. It’s going to take days for us to be able to walk across our yard again. Everything is so soggy.
Prayers for David please. He is having dental surgery tomorrow. I’m the one who is nervous about it. He is on antibiotics as always before dental work so he should be fine, but prayers are always appreciated.

Your pictures of Noel (especially the first one) are wonderful. In later pictures, the boots show up nicely. The outfit is perfectly detailed. You just get better and better.
I have stood on a ladder and painted the insides of cabinets. In terms of painting jobs, I would rank it very low on my favorite jobs list. Giving opinions is nice and helpful, since you’ve had lots of experience. Maybe doing the actual painting would be nice for someone who wants to gain experience.
I hope you don’t have to paint those cabinets..if your hubby wants to do it have him rent a sprayer. Easier and the finish is nice.
