My goodness, what a day… it’s 10:10 p.m. and it seems like my day is just getting started. Too many things on my plate… but one thing I did accomplish, sandwiched between a few interruptions, was to get Rozen’s dress set listed on Ebay. It ends a bit later than what I generally end them at…this time, after 9:00p.m. I was hoping for some outside pictures to try and capture the colors of the fabric and leather a little better, but she would have needed an umbrella… *sigh*
If you’d like to take a peek at the dress set, you can see it by clicking the picture at the right side bar, or you can click HERE.
Here is a new picture to entice you to look at the listing on Ebay…
Yep, I’ve turned to bribing you with candy! :o)
Okay, now want to see Linda’s picture of her girls around the May Pole? It’s adorable.
This was what Linda said about her pictures:
Jeanne, here are two pictures of my Maypole setup. Actually just one, since the other is a picture of Molly in her new dress. It is the Garden Party dress from AG’s Love shack Fancy line. I think it is really cute on her! Michael helped me put together the Maypole, which was really just a dowel in a base. I wrapped the dowel with glittery ribbon, stuck a bouquet on top, and covered the base with Easter grass and flowers.. I decided to use different colored ribbons for the dolls to hold. Use it whenever! (How about today, Linda?) Thanks so much!!!!!!
Well, I’ve got to get to bed… I have something early in the morning…
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
Congrats on getting Rozen’s outfit listed on ebay, Jeanne–I see it has one bid already! I have a feeling this will be a popular outfit–everything is so beautifully coordinated, and the colors are so pretty.
Linda, thanks for sharing the May pole picture, and the closeup of Molly’s pretty new dress. Does your Molly have a different wig on, or were you able to curl/wave her hair some after you took the braids out? I have Molly, and have taken her braids out occasionally, but her hair doesn’t wave as prettily as your Molly’s does!
HI Charlotte,
Yes, there WAS one bid and now there are 2! Whoopie! Thanks for your sweet compliments on it! Rozen is really beautiful in these colors! A match made in heaven! :o)
I noticed Molly’s hair too and want to take my Molly’s braids out now!
Thanks Charlotte,
Blessings, Jeanne
Rozen looks especially enticing with that yummy chocolate bar Jeanne, as if she isn’t enticing enough!! I love the pretty blue of the dress, it makes her look like she is floating on a blue cloud! She looks SO happy, and, oh dear, what happens when it comes off?
Thank you, Charlotte! No, Molly has not been rewigged, but I keep her in braids most of the time. What I do, after braiding her hair, is mist it lightly with water, which kind of “sets” the braids. When I take them out for something like this, they are wavy and I hardly brush at all, except maybe for the back. I just separate the strands with my hands, since her hair gets kind of fly away when brushed.
Dear Linda, thank you so much for sharing these photos. You have made the start of my day joyful! I love seeing your girls dancing around the Maypole.
Thank you, Dorothy! Who knew a couple of pictures of dolls could make your day so joyful? So glad they did!
So, I was looking at white dresses, but couldn’t find that lovely lace one. Details? All of the dresses are wonderful. 🙂
Joy, I bought that white eyelet dress off EBay about 8 years ago from a woman who lives in Canada. Not sure if she is still making them, but she featured eyelet dresses in all colors. I preferred the white one, as I used it for a First Communion dress. I believe a year or so ago, I used it for an Easter dress and I included a close up of the dress. It really is a beautiful dress and wonderfully made. I have a love affair with white eyelet lace it seems!
Hi Linda,
Rozen is very enticing and I just undressed her and put her new items away for the new winner. Maybe when Rozen wakes up, I’ll tell her it was dream… and the dress disappeared!
Thanks for the tips on the braids… I’m going to try that and when it’s Molly’s turn again for a dress, she’ll have lovely hair like your Molly does! :o)
Thanks Linda… your girls are very sweet and I do love Molly’s new dress….that pink print is SO pretty!
Blessings, Jeanne
Dear Jeanne, Rozen is certainly the model/spokesperson as she poses in her lovely outfit and holds the candy package. She appears to be saying, “this candy can be yours.”
Who will be the next model? Hmmm.
Dear Dorothy, I would love to come and help you organize if you lived closer and then we could go for afternoon tea. *smile*
That’s exactly what I was thinking… Rozen was having a “The Price is Right” or maybe a “Vanna White” moment with her hands! Either way, she sure looked pretty in that dress. She is undressed now and it’s time for the next girl… except I’m not sure who it will be just yet.
Thanks Dorothy,
Blessings, Jeanne
Well Linda, the Maypole turned out just wonderful. It is the perfect height for the girls too. Everyone looks so springy in their dresses. I’m sure they all enjoyed performing. Was this Betsy’s first time at the Maypole? Looks like she was a great little dancer as well. 🙂 I’ll have to check out the Love Shack line. Didn’t know it was in existence. 🙂
Thanks for sharing the fun photos Linda and Jeanne.
Thank you, Joy, and I am waiting to see yours! Yes, it is Betsy’s first time, actually everyone’s first time, since the Maypole is new.
HI Joy,
Linda’s Maypole was really cute and I’m glad she sent me the pictures… we certainly needed some girls to pay tribute to the 1st (or 2nd) day of May! :o)
I like the name of that new clothes line for the AG dolls… Love Shack! It sounds fun!
Thanks Joy,
Blessings, Jeanne
Thanks Linda for the May pole picture. Their dresses are so feminine and springy and love the way their hair is all curly. All in all a fantastic picture.
Rosen holding the chocolate is a surprising addition to the auction. Her pictures are especially good ones! Good luck😉
Thank you Kathie,
I don’t think Rozen has ever taken a bad picture… maybe a blurry picture, but not a bad one! I think candy sent along with the doll dresses is becoming somewhat of a signature piece for me… but sometimes an accessory wins over! :o)
Thanks Kathie,
Blessings, Jeanne
You’re welcome, Kathie! I too think that’s what girls should look like doing a Maypole dance, pretty
and feminine!
Chocolate is bound to get anyone interested in Rozen’s dress even if it weren’t so lovely by itself already. My dad sent me a mother’s day package with marzipan and money for perennials at the garden store. Won’t hear any complaints here. 🙂
Linda, all your girls look so sweet dancing around the Maypole. I love Susan’s dress and pretty hair wreath.White eyelet is so crisp and feminine.
Hi Laura,
It sounds like your dad knows your heart and how to make it smile! :o)
Those girls certainly did look like sweet little girls, didn’t they?
Thanks Laura, have fun shopping at the garden store!
Blessings, Jeanne
Laura,I certainly agree about the chocolate! Thank you for the compliments about my dolls! White eyelet is one of my favorite fabrics for a summery dress!
Congrats on getting Rozen’s dress listed on eBay. The ensemble is wonderful in itself but add the candy and it becomes more tempting than ever. My favorite candy!
Linda, I love your Maypole and all your girls looks so wonderful. I love Molly’s dress and the white eyelet on Susan and her hair wreath are so perfect. I’m partial to white eyelet too and made my daughter several white eyelet dresses when she was little. Haven’t done any for my dolly daughters yet but I have some very pretty white eyelet that’s begging to be used.
Greer Adele’s hat is finished, and I will complete the embellishing this afternoon. She looks so cute. Then I’ll be ready to do my photo shoot.
Thank you Barbara,
I was racing against the clock trying to get it done, and actually burned the hamburger I was cooking on the stove because I got too enthralled in my listing! Oops!
All this talk about white eyelet and I’m getting in the mood for a white dress… I don’t do them very often, but maybe I will…
Congrats on getting some sewing done… it sounds like you have been busy!
I hope they are all ready to smile for pictures!
Thanks Barbara,
Blessings, Jeanne
Thank you, Barbara! I think we all love pretty, summery dresses for our dolls, and children! I too, made a white eyelet dress for my daughter! Those were the days!
My goodness, it wouldn’t let me finish the St. Louis part!
