Molly’s “First Day of School” set is listed on Ebay…

Good Sunday morning to you….
Just a quick note to let you know I managed to get Molly’s School outfit listed on Ebay last night. You can see it by clicking the picture at the right side bar or you can click HERE.

I pulled up some images on Google of some 1940’s books and made her a few… She’s all set now! :o)

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. Oh, I’m so glad Molly has some new books to read! She can bring her current favorite for show and tell!

I remember reading The Doll’s House when I was young, and Help! I’m a Prisoner in the Library! looks familiar, too!

Laura, I replied to your comment on yesterday’s blog post!

    1. Hi Charlotte,
Yes, I know your husband has fallen a couple of times, so I wondered. I also thought that perhaps you had a ranch style house and the time painting you meant was just around the windows that could be reached from the ground.
It’s so nice you have someone who can do it and probably better and less expensively than a “professional”.
I feel like summer just started and here we are about ready for some leaf raking in a few weeks. What a year this has been.

  2. As a life long bookworm, I love the idea of our dolls having books. I have some books that belonged to my Dad and his sibs so I want to make some Bobbsey Twins and Cherry Ames.

After church we are going to Mr. Red Shirt’s (In my dinner party pic) house for lunch. That’s always fun.

  3. Happy Sunday, everyone. Molly is all set. I also remember reading “The Doll’s House”. Tasha Tudor’s illustrations are lovely. I still have my copy of “The Secret Garden” that she did.
The book “Tasha Tudor’s Dollhouse” is charming since she made the items herself. I also like the books that show her garden etc.

Have a nice time at “Mr. Red Shirt’s”, Julia.

Dear Jeanne, Molly is all set for school. She will definitely be the best dressed in her class.

Favorite children’s books: Little Golden Books, Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew (later on)

Favorite children’s magazines: Highlights for Children, Seventeen

Favorite Movie: In Search of the Castaways (with Hayley Mills – I really liked her)
