Not my girls, but Linda’s, will be featured today. They took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch…courtesy of their very good mommy… Linda. She never misses a holiday or a special occasion. The scenes she creates are always so fun to look at. I hope you’ll enjoy the pictures she sent me…Thanks so much Linda!
The first picture shows Betsy wearing her new overalls and Molly wearing her new hat she received. A few weeks ago Linda and her hubby took a trip to Kansas City and “of course Linda had to buy something to make the trip worthwhile!” *smile*
If you click on the pictures, they will enlarge.
Here’s a close up of Betsy in those adorable overalls.
Next, Molly decorated her table for Halloween. Linda said she used a cutout placemat from Kohl’s on top, with some netting …
…and then a close up of the dollhouse in that room, ready for Halloween.
Okay…now that I’m sure you’ve smiled, you can go about your Friday! *smile*
Thanks everyone,
Don’t forget about Felicity’s dress if you missed it… You can see it HERE.
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
What wonderful pictures!! Thanks so much for sharing, Linda, so we could all enjoy them!!
I’m curious about the scarf on Betsy’s head; is it a fabric scarf, or some kind of plastic thing made to look like a scarf? I can’t quite tell. (And of course, now MY Betsy thinks she needs an outfit like that!! LOL)
I love your idea of using that cutout placemat on Molly’s table–I doubt I would have thought to do something like that. The tulle and bows really make it festive, too! Your dollhouse decor is wonderful, also!
HI Charlotte,
Linda never disappoints us with her pictures, does she? I had to zoom in on Betsy’s head scarf too…it’s really adorable! Always thinking outside the box…that’s Linda!!!
I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures today, Charlotte,
Blessings, Jeanne
Thank you Jeanne for showing my pictures! I certainly don’t want to monopolize your blog, but thought you might like to see what is going on at my house!
That little kerchief actually came with a Wellie Wisher outfit, named Outdoors in Overalls. She can wear WW outfits very well, except for the shoes, which ar too wide for Betsy’s feet. It is cloth and matches the blouse that comes with that outfit.
Thank you for your kind words! I had fun decorating, and now am faced with changing everybody in their Halloween costumes! It never ends!
HI Linda,
I don’t think you have to worry about monopolizing my blog… you send pictures every once in a while and they always come at a needed time…
Your pictures gave us all something fun to look at and scrutinize all the details. :o) Thanks!
So now you are changing everyone into costumes… you are one good mommy, Linda! My dolls are all going in their “birthday suits!” The costumes were “very” easy to make! :o)
Thanks Linda,
Blessings, Jeanne
Thanks for the tip about the WW outfits, Linda! Will have to make a trip to my local AG store now, I guess! LOL
What fun decorating! Love the apple picking/pumpkin patch with all of the fall color. The overalls are perfect for the girls. Sweet pooches too. Didn’t realize that Betsy could wear Wellie clothes. Good to know. The table decor is fab. So creative. And the doll house porch is so fun. My kids, looking over my shoulder are making comments to me about our lack of decorations around here.
Thought I’d throw this out. We went to Costco yesterday, and I was Pleasantly surprised to see American Girls. I saw Kit, that newer girl with red hair (bad me I can’t remember her name), and Molly in a pink dress. On an end aisle in the toys. Had I not just bought a new Wellie, Willa for our grand I would have been tempted. They each came with an extra outfit I believe. I’m sure they will go quickly.
Have a fun weekend.
HI Joy,
Lack of decorations? My girls would just like to have something covering their naked bodies! HA!
I have never been to a Costco store and it’s probably a good thing…it seems like you can find just about anything there…and now AG dolls… How fun!!!
Thanks for letting all the Costco people they are out there!
Blessings, Jeanne
Linda’s pictures are wonderful. I know it’s a lot of work to put all of that together. I think my favorite detail is the corncob scarecrow in the wagon. What a great collection Linda has, all those great play clothes It’s a lot of work to put all of these scenes together and she takes great pictures. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see the girls in Halloween costumes. .
Joy, I bought the Caroline doll that I gave Riya at Costco a couple of years ago. It was a surprise to see American Girl there but I’ve seen them several times now.
Hope you don’t mind a health tip: There is a new vaccine against shingles but it is in short supply. It was just approved in March, so I need to get the new one, a two-shot process, another being given two months later. It is 95% effective as opposed to about 50% for the old one. I am number 163 on the list at Walgreens, believe it or not, so lots of people are becoming aware of this. One needs it if they have ever had chickenpox.
HI Susette,
I’ve never asked her, but I wonder how many hours a day Linda “tends” to her girls? Maybe she’ll answer me here… :o)
I can’t believe she dressed them up for such a short time and now it’s time to change them into their costumes… What a mom…
The other day m hubby had a dr. appointment and they asked him about the shingles vaccination. He declined, but maybe he shouldn’t have… hmmm…
#163…wow that’s a lot of people ahead of you…
Thanks for the tip, Susette,
Blessings, Jeanne
How many hours a day do I tend to my dolls? Are you kidding, Jeanne? I certainly don’t dress them every day, but when I do,I may spend an afternoon with them. Since I now have ten dolls, I have to do it in shifts. It certainly Idon’t spend as much time with them as you may think. Some days I spend no time with them, just enjoy looking at them!
Thanks Linda… inquiring minds wanted to know!

King Sooper’s (called Kroeger’s elsewhere and Ralph’s in CA) also has shingles shots, but it’s hard to get them. They get vaccine every 3 weeks and it’s gone in 18 hours.
Linda’s pictures are super, especially when they are full screen, which is the way they come to my computer. I especially liked Betsy’s scarf, so I was glad Charlotte asked about it.
The sun is out here, a lovely change. It should get up to about 60, 20 degrees warmer than yesterday. I hope the good weather is in as many places as possible. Stay away from hurricanes, or I hope this one avoids everyone on the blog.
HI Marilyn,
I’m going to have to check into the shingles shots… We probably should as we aren’t young chickens anymore…
I think everyone must have noticed Betsy’s scarf…it really is a cute one.
We had overcast skies today and the temp never made it to 60. I think last night’s low was 47 degrees…It’s been very cool today as we worked on sorting out the Old German Owls… It’s time to sell some… (many!)
Thanks Marilyn,
Blessings, Jeanne
Oh my, Linda does the cutest scenes with her dollies. They are perfect for fall! I just wish the weather would cooperate so we could all get in the fall mood. It is still hot here. I did change my front door wreath today to one with pumpkins, so maybe that will help me get in a fall mood! Thanks to Linda for sharing the cute pictures.
HI Carolyn,
I’m glad everyone enjoyed Linds pictures today. I knew they would.
It’s turned very cool here today…definitely cool!!! We had to get out a little heater this afternoon…it’s supposed to get down to 38 degrees tonight…bbbrrr
Thanks Carolyn,
Blessings, Jeanne
I always enjoy Linda’s scenes and am in awe of the time she must have to put them all together . A pumpkin patch visit is so appropriate this time of year, and what a wonderful assortment of props you have. Your girls must have the most fun of any dolls, Linda. They always seems to have something new going on. Oh my, even the dollhouse gets all dolled up.
I hope to continue to share your ever revolving displays.
On a funny note, my one little boy kitty has taken a great liking to my customized Nellie doll. It’s so sweet, he lies against her or rubs his face across hers and then snuggles down across her to take a nap.
HI Laura,
Fixed your name…
I can’t tell you how many commercials I have seen on TV advertising pumpkin patches in our area. I never realized there were so many.
Linda definitely is queen of props and display pictures…I think we’d all agree!!
Oh, if you can send me a picture of your kitty with Nellie…that sounds adorable!
Thank you, Laura,
Blessings, Jeannr
Thanks for sharing Linda’s pictures. I truly enjoyed them. All the pumpkins the girls have gathered from the patch must have been hard work.
Linda, I appreciate the work you go through to send these adorable pictures…. and creative scenes too.
Thanks Paula,
I’m glad you enjoyed Linda”s dolls at the pumpkin patch. I think everyone did. Yes, Linda certainly does a great job with her displays!
Thank you Paula and have a great weekend!
Blessings, Jeanne
Such a great display Linda! We all enjoy seeing what others do for the seasons and their dolls. I did a bit of one this year but nothing as cute as yours. It does take a long time to put everything “just so” and you do a beautiful job. I always try to get my Little Darlings to stand without a stand attached and they will if you fiddle with them…but then a door slams or something brushes by them and boom…on the floor they go.
Have a nice weekend everyone..hope the sun is shining where you are!
HI Kathie,
We’d LOVE to see your dolls on display if you have any pictures… :o)
I always worry about my dolls doing a face plant and skinning up their nose or chipping a finger…so I am very careful about how I pose my dolls for pictures. It’s almost like they need pillows all around them to catch them if they fall over.
The sUn isn’t shining here today…it’s in the upper 40’s but it feels wonderful to me. I was waiting for some Fall sweater weather.
Thanks Kathie,
Blessings, Jeanne
