It sure was fun seeing and reading all the comments under the post yesterday! It truly warmed my heart to see how happy you all were chatting with each other! Thank you for “missing” being together and sharing what you have been doing.
Just a quick sidenote… I saw all the comments about cataract surgery and thought I’d tell you about when I had mine a few years ago.
I had worn mono-vision contacts since I was 16. One contact was for distance and one was for closeup. Hard, soft, gas permeable lenses…I wore them all. So when it came time for my cataract surgery, it only made sense to get lenses that worked like my contacts always had. I’ve been told it’s more of a brain thing than an eye thing…your brain just figures out how to look forward and see close up and distant combined. It worked perfectly for me… George calls my eyes bionic… just my two cents worth.

Jeanne, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy seeing the pictures of others when they send them into let you know what is going on at their house! Rosemary’s quilts were just beautiful, Karen’s children are darling, and I really enjoyed their sweet artwork! Then too, Marilyn’s contribution about blue butterflies was excellent!
Here at my house, we are finally getting fall decorations out, because for one thing, it IS fall, and the weather has changed dramatically! Hope these will help!

Here are the 40’s girls, having fun at the pumpkin patch. Betsy is roasting marshmallows while Molly is entertaining everyone on her guitar. Susan and Ruthie are about to head out to pick apples. Later on they will go on a hayride!
Here is my hutch, decorated for fall. I bought a couple of gourds at the grocery store, and had all the rest.
Here is my tray I put together in the living room. My daughter gave me the autumn angel, and everything else is from Hobby Lobby, plus things I had.
Not my dining room table, but Felicity’s! My dolls never seem to go hungry.
