Today, it’s Joy’s turn to try and make us smile!

Hi everyone,
My sisters and Tom are still here helping with things that mean a lot to me… I love them so much! Several of you asked about Cindy’s Chicken and Dumplings… her dumplings are handmade, and I “will” share the recipe, but it will have to wait for a bit till I have more time. It was my Aunt Pauline’s recipe and Cindy is “probably” the only one in the family who can make them like she did. When we sat down to eat, it was a wonderful feeling eating them and remembering them from years ago. Linda, there were mashed potatoes in that one bowl. You put a spoonful of mashed potatoes down and then put the chicken and dumplings on top! YUMMMMMY! :o)

I happened to see this on Awkward Family Moments. I had to laugh. It is a little blurry, but I spotted the little pink poodle mascot? on the right. Maybe I’m not allowed to smile, but I found it comical. 🙂

Here’s my very latest Whister. She wanted to see the zinnias, so I said sure, and then she couldn’t balance on the table, but finally got her to hold still. She’s a little overdressed for the occasion, but we did leave off her little jacket as it was still pretty warm out there today.

You know how I’m always trying to explain how RRed does their tights, so I took some pics of Whister’s. They are amazing as they are black lace like but they are lined with fleshtone stretch fabric so any dye transfer to the legs will be avoided. As you can see, they are seamed down the middle and then across from foot to foot. When one puts on the tights, the foot toe goes to the toe, but the seam comes up the inside of the leg so it is seen minimally. You can’t see the seam from the back or the front.
Just wanted to see if these pics make sense to my babbling.
