Hi everyone,
Nothing feels quite as nice as being with my sisters and it doesn’t even matter what we do. We spend a lot of our time just talking, but yesterday Cindy made her “famous” Homemade Chicken and Dumplings for dinner! We were loving every bite we took! (I wrote down the directions as she put them together.)
We had wonderful leftovers tonight and I think we enjoyed them just as much. We had some crispy cucumbers and sliced tomatoes from our garden on the side along with a salad. Simple but delicious!!
My hubby and Tom did a few things at the house. Tom even mowed our grass in the heat! Poor guy!!
Cindy and Deb and I went to the Goodwill and TJ Maxx and to Panera’s for lunch! We all found a few things to add to our Fall wardrobes. Cindy also brought Deb and I a couple bags of clothes and shoes that she passed onto us! Seriously, it was like Christmas for Deb and I!
Before we left to go shopping, Tom took our picture… we didn’t know what each other was going to wear, but look how it turned out…
Well, that was my day! I hope yours was just as nice!!
