Some tidbits from several of my readers (make that my friends!!!)

Hi everyone,
I thought I’d share a couple of the comments some of you have made recently. I’m sure you would have said these things to everyone and not just me.

Dear Jeanne,
Can’t comment on the blog yet, so will comment here.
Oh, how wonderful to see pictures of Karen’s children again! They are certainly growing up. Those two little ones looked thrilled with their new dolls! That was so thoughtful of you. I wish Karen had put names with the picture with all the children. I remember the oldest girl is Marion, and there’s a Lilly, but I can’t recall beyond that!

I hope you’re able to get your blog working normally again soon. I miss being able to comment (and read the comments of others).
Hang in there, girl. Keep trusting the Lord; He knows what you need. I (and I’m sure many others) am keeping you and George in prayer.
love, Charlotte

Please relate to Linda her shared school photos are beautiful! I love the scenes
I hope you and George are doing super great, and George is feeling good.
We love both of you very much.

Jeanne, I have been hoping your weekend anniversary was a good time for y’all. I am
praying that the new meds will be the miracle for George.
The photos of the kids and dolls are so cute. What a great thought to give them to those sweet
girls! I hope we can all talk about every thing together soon if the blog can get back. Just know that
we are all thinking of y’all, and praying all the time.
Love,
Sissy

I am so pleased that Rebecca and Karn are with both of you. Happy Anniversary to both of you.
Our anniversary is on September 11th. My husband was at the Pentagon that day!
This is a long dramatic story but now, I am just very fortunate.
I hope the 4 of you have a fun time doing something fancy.
Love, Rosemary
ps: my daughter Christina and her hubbs Jason and the girls Sarah 11 and Lauren 8
are coming up from Richmond tomorrow and staying for the long week-end.
I am happy to have them.

to me

I hope all of you are doing super wonderful and there is a lot of laughing and hugging
over at your place.
I will send photos soon of my latest sewing escapades
I am almost done with my “American Sweetie” quilt, a pattern I bought from a sweet quilter.
The rows are pretty much straign across, sort of, maybe off about a half inch at most
and I am going to be satesfied with that. I will put white border around the whole
quilt, and then maybe a colored border. I am not sure what color…. First I thought
about blue, but what color blue? purpley blue? no, light blue? teal blue?
GREEN? So I will let is simmer a few days after I get those pesky white borders around the edges.
Christina/daughter just texted me and suggested dark blue.

Okay, the questions.
I want to go back to the 1990’s. That decade was a gem. I want to hug more.
My oldest sister was still living (she died from smoking at 48 from an aneurism)
and the girls and I played with dolls all the time, every day.
So that is that.
Chores. I do not like doing bathrooms, but I would rather do them myself than have someone else do them incorrectly. So, DUSTING is so annoying. I would love to have a dusting fairy come to my house every day.
I have been praying for all of you. I hope the weather is not too horrible.
It was nice here last week, in the 80s and lower humidity, but this week is awful. Very humid
and intolerable outside!
Love always Rosemary

I got this email from Joy and forgive me if I showed them before, but I don’t think I have.

Hi, Jeanne. I finally was able to take some pics of my latest two Ruby Reds. I did send a pic of a few dolls for size comparison awhile back. I’ll send them along again as I’m sure they were lost in the shuffle. You don’t need to use these, but they are here if you might need them.

The doll comparisons are from the left, a Ruby Red Siblie, 12inches, Regular 14 1/2 Ruby Red, and the one in the checked dress is a Ruby Red Jolli Buddies doll 12 1/2 inches. So, you can see that the Siblie and Jolli dolls are close to the same size. However, the Jolli’s do not have bendable elbows or knees, but are very cute and reasonably priced.

Lancelot aka Lance. and Felicity, are the latest here. Lance’s, Guinevere, won’t be ready for several more months, so Felicity, the 250th USA anniversary girl is filling in. No idea why she was named Felicity, when AG already had a very popular girl with that name. Lance is cooking some marshmallows using his sword. Good idea. 🙂 He brought along the little pony as he doesn’t have a horse his size yet. They are celebrating the last days of summer and enjoying a lovely day outside.

Thinking of you and George.
Take care,
Joy

Remember when I asked you to sing a song that you knew all the words to? I got this from Joy:

I just sang the Star Spangled Banner!! And it’s only 7:30 AM. It will be interesting to see what others sang. 🙂

Then I got this from Sissy!

Jeanne, the song I can think of the most is Amazing Grace.

Blessings for your Anniversary and wishes for many more.
Still hoping, praying and waiting for the miracle!
love you both,
Sissy

I love you ALL for helping me out and for your continued prayers!
Blessings, Jeanne AND George
