Another day gone and still no comments…

My day was packed from morning till now… (9:50) so everything is still the same. No comments can be made, no “contacting me” tab working, no pictures can be added to the side menu, and now my dashboard is vertical… not horizontal, which it’s supposed to be. Man, does my blog need help. I never got a chance to call Sarah today, but I’m going to try and reach her tomorrow and see if she can just point me in the right direction on how to get things fixed… just someone to talk to and tell them what’s going on. Surely, I can do that…
BUT, Rebecca let us know they are planning to come home after my hubby’s next appointment. We can’t wait for their visit! So there will have to be house cleaning and bedroom shuffling too. The guest room has become a catch-all room.

I don’t know how to let everyone know what has happened to my hubby, and is going to happen. My hubby asked for me not to talk about his health on the blog, and I can’t blame him, but so many of you have emailed me and asked… and I wouldn’t mind letting you know, but I just haven’t figured out how to do that yet.

I will just give you a quick update for now and then go from there. We saw his new oncologist yesterday and she was VERY sweet and nice. She said my hubby was the most complex case she has ever seen in her practice, but he wasn’t too thrilled about being that special! :o(
It is a long road ahead of us (we are hoping) and even when things look bad in the natural, we remember how many times the Lord has placed his healing hand on my hubby and let him live. We are praying for a miracle, and just like Sissy has been telling me in her emails, she is believing for one for him! Me too, Sissy!

This is the hardest thing we have faced in our almost 45 years of marriage. Our Anniversary is on September 5th, and we have been trying to figure out what to do… right now, it’s stay at home and eat a light meal and maybe watch a romantic movie, with popcorn! Rebecca and Karn might still be here, so we can maybe celebrate their anniversary and ours on the same night… because they got married on the same day we did!

I haven’t taken many pictures lately, but I found one on my phone from when I was staying in the hospital room with my hubby. It was such a quick decision for him to be taken by ambulance, and I was driven up to the hospital the next day by a friend. I didn’t realize we would be gone 15 days, so I packed a few things, but not what I would have, had I known. Anyway, I wanted to show you a picture that I had saved on my phone… I guess one of the few memories of that trip that made me smile.

I slept on this pull-out bench, and when it was made into the bed, my sheet hung down close to the floor. Well, long story short… I ran out of panties and washed them in the sink, spread a towel down on a ledge back behind the couch, next to the window, and dried them when the sun shown through the window. No one but me (and now YOU) ever knew they were there because the bench hid them.

Well, that’s a first… hoping drying panties makes you smile!

I’ll see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
