I guess it will be “more pictures to make you smile” today…

REMINDER: Tonight the tiny little set on 8″ Ten Ping comes to an end. If you are hoping to win it, you can check it out by clicking the picture at the right-side bar or you can click HERE. Thanks in advance to whoever wins it! It was fun to put together… (not so much those first tries at the flutter sleeves… but everything else!) :o)

Okay… well, I spoke with Sarah at church this morning about my blog and not being able to load any new pictures… She was going to have to look into that. She was busy last week trying to solve the problem of me receiving 50 to 150 people daily trying to get into my blog who I DON’T want to get through. As long as I don’t hit the “accept” button to their comments to me, I’m fine, but it’s a hassle to delete 151 in one day… which I had to one day! UGH! I have a safety/security feature on my blog and it was supposed to stop the links to pornography, gambling, wanting me to accept new writers for my blog, dating, and lots of other things, but they decided to suspend my account because they said I was a “commercial” blog… meaning, I sold things on social sites… Ebay, Etsy, and on my blog sometimes. They wanted to charge me $9.95 per month to cover being commercial. She didn’t get the part solved about what I can use in it’s place, but she did find another way to get rid of all the people trying to get into my blog. So far, in the last 2 days, I haven’t had anyone get through and there have been no nasty comments… that’s a YAY! Sarah is still working on things…

In the meantime, I am going to just continue with my “pictures to make you smile.” It’s either that, or just ask a question…

I decided to just show some more pictures… as I have PLENTY left!

So I’ll scroll down through my Media Library on my blog, find out where I left off and show some more pictures that make me smile! I hope you don’t mind… As you could probably tell from the pictures on Friday, I’m essentially just going backwards through all my posts… :o)

So let’s get started…

I have no idea how many pictures I loaded but I’ve still got 30,000 still left in my Media Library… see I told you we could be here till July!

I hope you find something that brings a smile to your face again today…

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Congrats on four bids on Ten Ping’s outfit!! That is encouraging,.

I’m sorry you’re still having computer issues. Hopefully it will be fixed and back to normal soon!

You did have a lot of lovely pictures tonight. It’s hard to pick a favorite. It was fun to see the racoons again, and the irises are just lovely. There was that pretty table setting, and your Featherweight. Of the doll dresses/outfits, the purple one with a bunny in the pocket, and of course, Ten Ping’s pink and silver outfit, which MY Gigi just loves to wear! She says she feels like a movie star in it!!

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Looks like we won’t be getting the all day rain we were supposed to, but maybe a shower or two. It certainly is not warm enough to go swimming, although the pools are now open.

Well, what a mess for you, Jeanne, to figure out what is going on with the blog! I sure do hope things get straightened out before too long. So sorry you have to go through all that!

Well, smile I did, after looking at all those pictures from “memory lane”! I do remember all the doll clothes, except that one with Felicity in that gorgeous outfit! That is just beautiful, and you need to make more of those kinds of dresses!😉

It I was fun to see places that I remember, and those little raccoons peeping out from their nest is just plain precious!

So fun to see people pictures too, you and your sisters, Karen’s little girl, and oh gosh me and you! I don’t recall that one picture of you and a woman dressed in a costume at all, so am drawing blanks.

Susette’s Christmas tree is so elegant! And that room filled with dolls, good grief, that is some collection! Those lace pieces are beautiful, aren’t they from Kathie?

I could go on and on, and probably will say to myself, why didn’t I mention this or that, but I do have to stop sometime, so it will be now! But thank you for taking us down the Memory Lane Road, Jeanne! I loved it!

Oh dear, I just wrote a comment, and it did not go through or at least all that is here is Charlotte’s comment. Now I think I know what happened! I put my name first in the email line and my email address in the name line! It has been reversed just a few days now and I didn’t notice that.

Well, here goes again! I did smile a lot to see all these wonderful pictures and remember most of them! The flowers are just beautiful, then, those pictures of the tiny baby raccoons peeping out from their nest is adorable! The little white puppy is so cute, whose is that?

The people pictures, well, Karen’s little girl is so cute, then you and your sisters, you with a woman in some sort of costume, and then…….you and me!

Oh my, .Felicity’s outfit is just the most beautiful one on her that I have seen and do not remember that one at all! You need to make more of those!😉

I can’t believe that room FULL of dolls! Unbelievable! And then Susette’s elegant Christmas tree, the picture of various laces, from Kathie, the darling picture of a tea party set upon a big table, all are lovely to see!

Thank you for showing these pictures from “Memory Lane”, Jeanne!
    Happy Memorial Day everyone! 🇺🇸

    1. Hi Linda,
Some ladies from church went to a Honey Festival in Saint Genevieve, Missouri a couple of years ago. There were all kinds of vendors selling flavored honey, honey candy, embroidered towels, etc. And the town even had their very own Queen Bee. I got my picture taken with her.
The tea party was one that Dorothy went to. The dolls had their own party…

The little white poodle is Deb and Mike’s dog, Jeffy. He had a toy lobster that needed repairing and he watched me like a hawk as I sewed one of the claws back on. Sad news… just last week they had to put him to sleep… he hurt himself somehow and his back legs became paralyzed… it has been very hard for them.

  4. Blog problems are unrelenting. I do not know if there is any way to block spam accounts, it is difficult to isolate them and put them in junk.
All of these writing platforms are getting attacked with junky fake accounts. I know it take a lot of the fun out of managing your own lovely account, but there are the headaches behind it. I hope you can resolve it to at least a manageable level.
i love all of the happy pictures today, all of them are sweet.
The patriotic dress at the top really caught my eye, so sweet with the fringey edge.
Happy Memorial Day to all of you.

Well, so sorry to hear about the blog spam problem as well as being unable to load new photos. Here, I’m still receiving two blog posts. One yesterday, 5-25 at 11:01PM, Titled, I Dream Of Jeanne Marie and then the usual 5-26 at 3:05AM, Titled, Jeanne. Is it possible you have two accounts as I’m getting both although, they both are your usual blog?
Anyway, I really enjoyed the “Lots of Smiles” photos. Little Dazzle here would love a little dress like the first photo. It’s perfect for today and for the 4th of July as well. I would love to make her a dress, but so far, all I’ve done is cut out paper pieces that look like they might fit and then a fabric top that does not fit at all. The pieces are so tiny. Ack! I was thinking I’d be able to make a usual sleeveless top and be able to turn the pieces, but nope. The tiny shoulders would not allow for turning. And I really hate to sew half of the bodice front/back and have to try to tuck and hand stitch the lining. But, I may have to do that. And I’m not even sure that the thing will fit her anyway. Ugh!
We’re heading down to the cemetery at ten when the memorial program begins. All the small flags are up on each Veteran’s gravesite thanks to the Boy Scouts, and many more flags flying all around. We were there yesterday when I put out flowers on my parents, grandparents, and uncle and aunt’s gravesites. I’m sure we’ll see lots of neighbors, friends, and doggies too. We have a tri/tip to BBQ tonight and last night we had our own homegrown artichokes. Delicious. 🙂
    Have a wonderful holiday everyone.

Another set of great smile photos, Jeanne. I enjoyed seeing them all. Nice to see Linda’s and Susette’s sweet scenes, you Jeanne, the sweet raccoons, Deb’s sweet little poodle (so very, very sorry to hear the sad news, please tell them so), you and your sisters, that doll room again, oh my, of course you and Linda, as well as all of your sweet dresses. I love that one on Felicity and I do recall it complete with that lacy pelerine. Happy Memorial Day, everyone and thank you to all who were/are in the service.

I’ll be sending you something for tomorrow if you’d like.

  7. Sissy Lingle on the GA coast

I loved your smiles photos again, Jeanne. So many different fun photos. I have looked at them 3 times, and love them all! I hope you get everything fixed on your blog soon and stop having all that mess to deal with.
Wishes for a special Memorial Day for you all.

  8. Susette from Southern California

I’ve really enjoyed seeing all the pictures. Such a lovely variety to look at and to get ideas from. Hope your computer problems get solved quickly. It’s challenging enough to put the blog together every day, so you certainly don’t need hackers. I’ll be watching the bidding this evening. Always good to see pictures of you, Linda, the girls and other followers
