Hi everyone,
I read your comments but didn’t have any time to comment… but thank you for yours!!! I was busy all day, working on other things, but found time to do a little bit toward the next dress. I won’t tell you who it’s for yet, but I already have the name! “Bunny in my Pocket!” I was in the Dollar Tree the other day and saw these cute little bunny erasers… and viola… the next dress was on my mind…
Here are the pieces and a few ideas I’m hoping to bring to life.
Here is a close-up…
Right when I started cutting it out, I glanced over at Frieda’s “Vibrant in Violet” set and thought I must be on a purple roll… I had pink fabrics laid all over my cutting table, but my eye caught this purple print and that was that!!
I hope you’ll stay tuned to see what it turns into!
See you tomorrow!!
Blessings, Jeanne
The little bunny eraser is so cute, and I am really loving your fabric choices (and the shoes)!! The little flower appliques are just perfect, too.
I am guessing maybe it will be for Lian or Isabelle, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Darling choices, Jeanne! Sometimes a little thing, like the bunny eraser, can give you a good idea of what to make at first glance! I love the fabric choices, and I too am guessing it is for one of your smaller dolls, since the shoes are the giveaway!
How fun. I have no idea of the size. Since Ten and your Boneka have just modeled, perhaps it may be for a RRFF Siblie or an LD. Both close in size, I think. I would like to see embroidered flowers rather than the felt on any jacket if made. A full coat would be nice with a collar and that pocket for the bunny. 🙂 Can’t wait to see it come together. Fun.
This is going to be a fun outfit to watch. The title leaves much to the imagination wondering where the pocket for the bunny will be – jacket, coat (as Joy suggested) or dress. I love the fabric and I love purple. Can’t wait to find out who will have the pleasure of wearing this new ensemble.
The other “in my pocket” dress had a turtle, didn’t it? You probably have a picture but may not have the time to look for it.
This was the fabric I was hoping for last time, but I realized that the shoes were going to work better with the material you chose. It looks like I’m getting my wish.
Joy may have a point about the embroidery. Your silk embroidery is beautiful and uncommon.
I think you are making me start to like purple🤭..everything goes together so well. Maybe the flowers could go on a purse since they they are an absolute perfect match?
Have always loved a square neck too. Yes, the bunny is darling …this will be adorable.🥰
