I won’t make you wait too long to find out what the story line is on my Ebay listing, but these few pictures might keep you guessing…
I was hoping to get my auction on Ebay Friday evening, but ran into some picture issues that made it too late for me to get it listed. RATS!
These were some “leftover” pictures I didn’t use, but you can make up your own story and see if someone gets it right… The auction is scheduled to be live Saturday evening around 8:40… I think… I’ll post a picture of it and a link to the listing at the right side bar when it’s active and will include a link as well.
I ran out of space for my pictures. There’s a software program that I use and it gives me 60 MB of space…and I had used it all up… so I’m not sure what I’ll do next, but for tonight’s auction, I had to compress each of my pictures to be able to get them to load. I have been using this since 2006 so it’s no wonder I’m out of space.
Anyway, here are some pictures for you to enjoy…
Have a wonderful weekend…
See you Monday,
Blessings, Jeanne
She wandered over to where some lilies are about ready to bloom…
The outfit turned out darling, Jeanne, and I’m glad to see that she has a little doggy friend to take for a walk. I would think the story has something to do with Freida doing that, anyway. And making discoveries in the garden (or maybe the woods?).
Update on our plumbing woes: the drain has been unclogged! A different company came today, and the plumber, Caleb, actually Listened to the sound when he snaked the pipe–and decided the snake was going up the “stack” rather than into the drain, so he reversed the direction it rotated, and he did get it down far enough (which actually wasn’t far–we found out, after cutting into the drywall, that the pipe made an L bend to the right, rather than going straight down!) to do what was needed. We didn’t know at first, though, and talked about replacing a section of drain (which we still plan to do). He reattached things and ran some water into the p-trap…and ran some water….and ran some water…and asked, “how long did it take to back up?” and I said, “not long”. That’s when we realized, all of a sudden, that it was working again! Yay!!
We finished our 4th straight day (or maybe 5th?) of 90+ temps, with two more to go before it finally cools down. Seattle rarely gets this hot for more than a couple of days, so most of us don’t have A/C. We are wilting!!
Charlotte, so glad you have the drain working again and that you tried a different plumber. Don’t know how you managed especially with the heat you have been enjoying. Ha ha. Please try to keep cool. 🙂
So you’re finally warming up in Seattle. I know you wanted that but not quite so much I’m sure. At least it only lasts a few days. Here we have had 100 degrees or more most days since the beginning of June. That’s hotter than even we’re used to. But hot is hot. The other day it was 93 mid-afternoon and I would have sworn it was hotter. So glad you got your plumbing situation fixed without totally redoing your pipes. A plumbing clog is the worst since it involves everything you do.
HI Charlotte,
I think it was pretty obvious that Frieda was taking the doggy for a walk… you can read the whole story tonight… :o)
UGH!!! I know all too well about plumbing woes and glad yours are seemingly under control…at least for the time being.
Our temps have settled down a bit but the humidity has been terribly uncomfortable. Today it’s in the 80’s and the humidity is only 60%. What a welcome it is!
Thanks Charlotte,
Blessings, Jeanne
Jeanne, Frida looks so sweet in her outfit and adorable hat. The material looks like it’s really soft,
Since the little puppy ( where do you find these precious doggie figures, Jeanne?) has a bow around “his” neck, unless the puppy is a girl but her bow is to match Frida’s outfit. Frida is that type of girl to want a match like that. So…
It’s possible the puppy was a birthday gift to Frida from her parents. Frida loves animals and has asked her parents for a puppy for a long l o n g time.
Her parents reminded Frida how responsible she must be towards her new little charge. 1. Always make sure the puppy has fresh clean water and help with feeding the puppy. ( Mom and dad will help too.) 2. Take the puppy outside often to help her learn where the right place is to go potty. and the puppy will learn to signal in time. 3. Play with the puppy and take her for walks for exercise and adventure and bonding with her puppy. Remember Frida, she isn’t just a cute doggie, she’s part of our family now.
And the pictures show Frida out walking her puppy. I’m assuming there is a nice wooded area in Frida’s back yard or Frida’s family are at a park walking the puppy but they’re just not in the picture, 😉
HI Paula,
I guess dog walking was too easy to guess from my pictures… .but you’ll find out the rest of the story when you read my storyline in the listing. I will have it up this evening.
I like your story line too, Paula… and may have to refer back to it when I do the next doggy listing! :o)
Blessings, Jeanne
Though I’d check in before we head for grandson Skyy’s birthday party. His 12th. Hard to believe he’s that old already.
I love this adorable outfit. My Little Charming, Jade, has the one you made for the small dolls and she looks so cute in it. I’ll be sending some pictures soon of that and some other things I’ve made. The girls are anxious to show off their summer frocks.
Hubby got his new truck yesterday. A Honda Ridgeline. He is over the moon. He has been wanting that truck for years and finally was able to buy one. His other truck is a 2002 Dodge Dakota and it is still going strong. He’s giving that one to Jason. It’s actually newer than the used one he has that needs repairs. David wanted a black truck but could not find one exactly what he wanted so he settled on red as a second choice. Our VW Atlas is red also. They do clash a bit sitting side-by-side in the driveway., but they do look nice sitting on our new driveway. Okay, I promise to get off mentioning our new, wonderful, gorgeous driveway but it takes so long to get things around here it’s hard not to remain excited for awhile.
I can so understand getting excited over the truck and the driveway☺️. We have always had a pickup that was newer than whatever car we had. When we were first married I drove a 65 Ford manual transmission pickup to work and had to parallel park it on the street😉😳 and we didn’t have a paved driveway until we moved to town. It was heaven…a garage and a driveway! Mike’s now pickup is a 2000 but he probably only drives it 10 miles a week.it is his fav.☺️
So just enjoy the heck out of that truck and driveway!🤗
HI Barbara,
Yes, I’d love to see some pictures of your girls and Jade, in her batik summer set!
Congrats on your hubby’s new truck. My hubby would be in heaven too. HIs is a 1992 Ford F-150 and it’s beginning to show its age… but he treats it like his baby and it’s still going strong… well, almost strong… it has a few hiccups. :o)
Congrats on the new driveway too… that’s the way I felt about our new roof… :o)
Thanks Barbara,
Blessings, Jeanne
Congrats on the new Ridgeline. That is definitely going to be our next truck. Love all of the fun features. 🙂
I love your pictures with Freida’s puppy….so maybe the theme is “Taking the Puppy for a walk in the Woods?” It makes a darling story.
Glad you got the plumbing working Charlotte. We take our basics for granted until they stop😉
You found a good common sense plumber! That super hot weather is coming our way..it will be close to 100 every day next week ….it makes it hard for the tomatoes to set on so this will not help🥴
Happy Saturday everyone🥰
HI Kathie,
I think I made it too easy to guess about walking the door… but there is a little story that goes with it… you can read it when the listing comes up tonight…
I just looked and we are supposed to be in the 90’s next week… that’s better than the 100’s! Stay cool if you can!
Thanks Kathie,
Blessings, Jeanne
