Hi everyone,
I had a really busy day taking my hubby to Physical Therapy (he still can’t drive), finishing up those sequin heart felt pieces for the drama, Kristoffer came over and asked me to sew on a patch and embroider his name on a new shirt, plus several other things I HAD to take care of.
This won’t be a long post, but kind of exciting. I totally forgot I had more AG doll clothes to sell…when I remembered I had them, I was thrilled because there are some really nice pieces in here.
I didn’t have time to take individual pictures tonight, but will soon. I have to work at the Food Pantry Friday and before that, I have to deliver my sequin heart pieces.
There are a few pieces in here that aren’t American Girl, but really cute…and I just now remembered I have more outfits too. If I’m going to sell them, I might as well do them ALL at the same time!
You can zoom in on this picture and see the treasures here.
Here is the stack of things that aren’t AG.. at least I don’t think they are.
I decided to take out those pieces and show you the AG things.
Well, have fun looking at those.. I’ll keep digging for more!!
I’ll see you tomorrow…
Blessings, Jeanne
More goodies to look at!! I see several things for Kirsten, including her “meet” dress and apron. I have that, and the striped socks, of course. I’m wondering if that white garment just below her shoes is her nightgown, and the plaid one next to it is her bathrobe? If so, I might be interested in them (the nightgown and robe, I mean), as I have Kirsten but not a lot of her clothes. I got her winter set, and maybe something else, but most of her clothes are ones I made.
Now that black AG Place t-shirt is one I can tell you about, because I have it! It’s from the Chicago store, where we went in about 2000, on our driving trip. We went in late spring, and Ron kept reminding me to be looking for a nice piece of jewelry or something for our anniversary (May). When we finally got close to Chicago, he said, “You’re going to wait until we get to the American Girl store before you pick out your anniversary present, aren’t you?” 😁 Well, of course!! And that is how I got Felicity!! And an outfit, and some other things. We ended up having to have everything SHIPPED home because we wouldn’t have room in the car!! 😂🤣😂 Anyway, I bought a number of those little t-shirts for my doll friends at home (including my boss at the doll shop, and a couple of others) as well as one for AbbyRose, who was my only modern AG at that time. And…they had matching tote bags, both doll sized and people sized, so I have one of each of those, also.
I forgot to mention yesterday that I loved your picture of the girls enjoying a meal at the AG cafe. Great costumes.
Thank you, Barbara! I made AbbyRose’s; not sure where Marika got Annie’s.
WOW Jeanne! You just keep on finding AG stuff…that would be my dream couple of days! I continue to keep you husband George in my thoughts and prayers! I too have Kirsten! My grandma gave her to me shortly before she died. I have a knock off that looks just like her nightgown but I have always wanted her robe!
So Charlotte maybe we can agree on someone getting the nightgown and someone getting the robe?

Oh yes, I do recognize Kirsten’s things! Ys, Charlotte, that is Kirsten’s nightgown and robe! I already have that , pus of course, her meet outfit, since I bought the Anniversary Edition,a dn that is what she comes in.
Julies Meet is there too! The rest I do recognize as AG, since I have seen those all before, not necessarily having them, but they are true Ag.
At first I though that rd purse is Molly’s,but the snap is larger than her real one, but then again, they made so many, it still might be hers, or at least someone could use it for her if they don’t have the real deal.
Betsy is in heaven! Her sandals fit and she thinks she is so “cool” now!
We have dressed up for our Fourth of July celebtration, so will be sending picutres soon.
Sorry about the misspellings! My excuse, is my hubby wanted to get on the computer, so I was typing fast to finish it, and didn’t proofread! I really was a teacher, honest!😊
What a great bunch of goodies! Can’t wait to see them individually. You must have the greatest Good Will ever. I never find any thing concerning dolls or doll clothes and other doll items at their stores, although other people I know do. Guess I should visit more.
Linda, when I’m in a hurry, I make terrible mistakes. The do, dolls and for are my worse mistakes. Do becomes to, doll becomes folks, and for is always fir.
Sometimes “ always” becomes skeet’s – embarrassing and so irritating.
Yes, Paula! I never was a good typist, but adding that with iPads and computers that seem to have a mind of their own, is disastrous! Thank you for understanding!
I’d like to see Jeanne write a tiny doll sized book. “Jeanne’s Busy Day!” Wouldn’t that be sweet? I think that we would all need one for our dolly libraries. 🙂
Loved seeing the pile of AG items. Even I recognize some. I’ll have to take a look, but it seems like around here, we’re missing a few of the pieces Jeanne has shown.
I’ve already been to RubyRedToys.com this morning. Those new Fan Club editions are pretty cute. 🙂
I was looking on there yesterday as well. Gabriela is really sweet. It looks like they reused Northern Lights eyes for her. The fairy is cute as well and even though I’m not a fan of colored hair the dark green streaks seem to work in her case because they’re subtle..
Yes, I really like Gabriela too. But, I believe she is only available in the Czech Republic. They aren’t supposed to arrive there until August, so time will tell. Kelly, the fairy is sweet, and I like the cowboy kids as well. There should be some new kids out for Halloween too. Lots of decisions to make. 🙂
Dear Jeanne, more treasures for lucky 18-inch dolls to receive.
If any of our Sofa Sisters are from up North, I wish them a Happy Canada Day!
And, wow, we are already in July! The Summer is marching along quickly.
Sure can’t believe it’s July already. Today is my baby sister’s birthday. She is 64. I was 11 1/2 when she was born. Where does the time go….
Wow!! You seem to have AG things coming out of the woodwork. Most unrecognizable to me, but I’m still enjoying seeing all the pictures and comments.
I love the idea of flip flops for the Siblies. Sydney thinks that’s a great idea because she says I’m always sewing for her sibling Hanna and her friends and she feels left out. She’s still in her Easter dress but will be getting a bow shoulder dress soon (Kathy Anne Designs). She would probably love a pair of flip flops to go with that.
Today is American Girl shopping day with my granddaughter. Right now she is in the living room all by herself probably feeling very lonely because she is never alone. But I’ll make it up to her the rest of the day and I’m sure put a smile on her face.
Dear Barbara, I am sure that your granddaughter and you will have a lovely day shopping. Do let us know about your adventure!
NOW I see clothing I recognize! As other sofa sisters have already said, there’s Kirsten’s original meet dress, apron, stockings, boots, her housecoat, and nightgown. I also see Julie’s entire original meet outfit. Both of those outfits are her and my mom made my daughter’s Kirsten her nightgown.
Yes, Barbara, please do share your AGP day. Can’t wait to hear what your granddaughter chooses.
