This is just a quick reminder to let you know “Valentine Surprise,” the dusty rose furry coat, seen on my Ruby Red Fashion Friends doll, Freida, ends this evening. Remember, she isn’t included, but the coat, hat, slip, bralette, thigh highs and the leather boots are! I hope you’ll take a peek if interested.
You can click the picture at the right side bar or you can click HERE.
Thanks for looking,
Blessings, Jeanne
Hope you are feeling Much better by now, Jeanne! It looks like you have five bids on the set already! Woohoo!!
Well, Freida isn’t here yet. The tracking said Saturday, but…I think my address label had both street and PO box, and they were to deliver it to the PO. (I don’t know why they couldn’t bring it to the house–we’re only a half mile away!) Anyway, our PO is only manned just long enough on Saturdays to put mail in the boxes, probably around 8 in the morning, so if they didn’t get there at the right time, they’d have to wait. And tomorrow is Sunday. And the next day is a holiday.
Waaaah!!!! 😭
So it looks like their original estimate of Tuesday is going to be right, after all.
In reference to her name, in Swedish (I’m 100% Swedish, although 3rd generation American born), it’s spelled without an “i”–Freda. And the e is the long ee sound.
Susette, thank you for the compliment on the purses. I had such fun choosing fabrics! I must have about–okay, at Least!–9 or 10 bright-on-black prints, and quite a few batik fabrics, too, so I had lots of possibilities! I think one of my favorite things about a project like this is choosing the fabrics that work best together–or, as I call it, “sing”.
Good morning, sisters!
First, Jeanne, I hope you are making significant improvement with your health and that George (and Reuben) are fine. Did you get the snow? Oh, how we could use it here. Good luck tonight, too. Valentine Surprise is a knockout.
Anne, from ages ago, I enjoyed your stories of the birthday and seeing that cake with the red panda. SO impressive.
Charlotte, what wonderful OOAK bags you made! Eye catching and practical. Yes, a lot of fabric and a lot of layers. I was thrilled to see your picture of you on your FB comment on Jeanne’s coat set. So fun to have a face to go with your comments now. Hope your doll is with you Tuesday. Our mail system here in Salida has taken a real dive, very concerning.
Linda, always, always love your scenes. So many fun details to make us smile and admire. Thanks ever so much. BTW, that Kirsten outfit is one of my favorites, too.
Joy, don’t you have some pics to send Jeanne of doll duds you have completed recently? Congrats on your new kids. Hope they appreciate your extraordinary efforts to get them inside “safely “. Enjoyed that picture of the box armoire for doll clothes. It has been YEARS since I have been in a Micheal’s or Joanne’s….Salida is so far from any of those and I get a little green when all of you blithely talk of dropping into one of those. You’re all lucky ladies!
Everyone have a super day and if sick, get better. If not sick, stay well. Hope our leader is back on her saddle soon. ❤️
Dear Jeanne, I hope you are feeling better.
Can you believe we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day soon? Wasn’t it just New Years Day?
