My day was filled with things from the morning till now… (it’s 11:36 p.m.) so I’m reaching back to the archived posts and hopefully you’ll see something that you may have missed before. There’s nothing special about December 1st, but as Dorothy reminded us all, it’s only 3 weeks till Christmas! Yikes!

Bailey’s Christmas dress is finished
Well, I hope to have something fun to show you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne
That was a fun look at the past, Jeanne! I must not have been subscribing to the blog yet when you posted Kirsten’s dress, as I don’t remember reading about it, but I noticed I commented on all the others! That lovely velvet/lace confection still is about my favorite of everything. It was also fun to read about your “slumber party” at your mom’s new apartment!
I had a vascular study and an echocardiogram yesterday; no significant changes from last year, thank goodness!! Friday is Ron’s neurology appt.; hope we get some answers then!
Well, I see that there are eight bids now for your latest outfit. 🙂
Almost finished with the doll bedding. Might have time to make a dress for grand’s new doll too. We’ll see. Lots of other things seem to get in the way.
So are you thinking of going for the preorder for Meadow Nunnu, or however it is spelled, or were you able to nab one from those in stock? She’s a tiny one for sure. 🙂
What a fun Christmas post! Navi and Patsy have my favorites votes.
What a lovely trip down memory lane. I loved seeing some of the background for my favorite LD dress – the black velvet/white lace masterpiece. I really am going to have to make one for my Greer Adele. She would look so perfect in it. She still does not have anything of her very own.
So that’s how I got the absolutely lovely Christmas dress that my MA Lissy wears. She fits the 10″ Patsy and Dumpling clothes perfectly. I guess I didn’t bid on it because I sew, but I evidently snatched it up in a hurry when you offered it to those on your blog. It’s one of my favorite outfits and looks so lovely on Lissy.
Fun to see the old posts for a certain day. Also fun to say I was around for every single one. The bonnet on Kirsten’s Christmas dress is one of my favorites The Little Women trio of dresses are always lovely to see again. Rebecca’s is my favorite with those double puffed sleeves with the one on your blonde girl a close second.
Can’t wait for the fun tomorrow. i think there is possibly time for one more Christmas dress. and then voting for favorite dress of the year.
I drooled over Lian’s black velvet and lace dress when you made it, and I believe I was the 2nd highest bidder. I think it will always be my favorite, no matter how many dresses you make! 🙂
I’m trying to send you some photos of my new Ruby Red Jennifer, but they are slow loading. I even resized them, because at first they were humongous!! Hopefully they will eventually load and you will get them with no problem.
Oh, so glad your Jennifer is home. The one coming here is due tomorrow. 🙂
Since I’m in the Seattle area, mine will probably come last! Boo hoo!!
I can’t believe I’ve been watching the blog for all these years. Time flies. Everything is amazing! You have such a talent for design. I remember most of the dresses, especially the one for Kirsten with the handkerchief apron. All of them are little works of art!
Speaking of table settings, on the Art of the Table Facebook page there was a note from one of the ladies that her cousin was in charge of the decorations for the White House and has been for many years. The White House Christmas Special will be on HGTV on December 12th at 6 pm PST.
As I mentioned in the Comments at the time of this post, I had already found a dress like one of my favorites, the black velvet with lace skirt, for my granddaughter Riya for First Grade graduation. She’s 12 now and no more fancy little dresses anymore. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane.
My all time favorite is Liam in the black velvet top and lace skirt. Every one is lovely but still love the black and white the best🤗
It seems Christmas sneaks up on me every year but this year even more. Haven’t even wrapped one gift! YIKES😳
