A few Fall doll dresses from the archives…

I’ve had a busy day so you will just have to enjoy a slide show of some of my past Fall dresses for the dolls. I hope you don’t mind!

I think I’ll throw in this fun post too… It was from September 2019

You must have had a busy day, Jeanne–and a busy night last night, too, as I don’t think you replied to any of the comments.

Well, you started this post with two of my all-time favorite outfits! I love that blue on Kirsten (she really is a “blue” girl, isn’t she?!), and then that gorgeous pink and lilac outfit on Lian. Love Felicity’s yellow outfit, also. Of course, they’re all nice, but those are my favorites!

Oh, yes, I remember that “recipe” post! What fun!

I didn’t get any sewing done today–I practiced piano, went to B&N and the library, and after supper got the checkbook balanced and bills paid. But I don’t have much left to do on the top I started–maybe tomorrow?!

So glad you’re about done with the sitting room and then on to George’s office. Will you be painting in there also? Hope the caramel apples and weather turn out nicely for tonight. Have fun.
I was so happy to actually get a few photos of my Halloween kids. Didn’t think I’d make it with their outfits but did. Guess I’d better bag up some candy for possible trick or treaters tomorrow, although not sure the weather is going to cooperate.
Have a nice weekend everyone. 🙂

I forgot to comment on Jeanne’s lovely flash from the past. I think it is Cecile wearing that lovely brownish/beige dress with the black accents. That dress is lovely. 🙂

A feast for the eyes Jeanne! I love every one of those dresses but Addy’s harvest gold just pops and I love those little jackets. Felicity and Kirsten will always be my favorites no matter what they are wearing : ) Home improvement projects are really making progress.

Sally, I just want to add that it was well worth the trouble to get your dolls in some season appropriate duds! I am having an Alice moment this year – Addy can carry off that blue and white. Thank you for the comments about each photo. I am really enjoying doll photos because there are no actual dolls to see in my house. We are still struggling with which dolls will get to ride in the car and which dolls will have to endure the moving van. A recent conversation with a doll shop owner assured me that the dolls she packed for a recent move were just perfect upon arrival to a new location. There is some comfort there and it is only 6 hours away.

    Happy weekend to all,

    Debbie

Thank you very much, dear Debbie. I wrote a little note below to you in my comments about packing all the kids. Have a wonderful weekend; take some moments to enjoy yourself!

What a perfect Halloween present for us. Navi has never looked smaller or Felicity prettier than in her lace and red ribbon. It’s a beautiful set of pictures.

Halloween is usually quite cold here but today is bright with the sun making the last of the crabapple leaves look like stained glass and a rabbit breakfasting in the front yard.

    Happy Halloween to everyone.

  5. I love it when you show us your previous creations. All the models look so sweet in their colorful fall outfits. It’s fun to see the variety you made and some of the dolls not used for awhile. I see my outfit !!! Naturally one of my favorites!
Navi looks so cute in her outfit and it figures she would find a bag of treats! 😊🎃
Also, Sally, your outfits yesterday were fantastic. I really enjoyed seeing them. They were quite elaborate. The green witch outfit and Dorothy were my favorites. Thank you for sharing.
And Jeanne, thank you for sharing this fall collection despite your busy days. Enjoy the evening at the hayride event. Your painting and floors can wait for a little bit!
Everyone, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Dear Paula, thank you for your kind comments. They are pretty elaborate, yes, but fun, and I’m so glad you enjoyed them.
Have fun for Halloween; do you get any kids where you are?

    Hello,
I am SO sorry that I was MIA yesterday. A lot going on and then a surprise chance to get our boosters, so I just wasn’t up to it after that, plus a neighbor coming to dinner.
THEREFORE, this afternoon I will go back to yesterday and make replies. You were all so gracious.
Jeanne, happy hayride and caramel apples. Boy, I used to love those. The archived outfit pictures are always welcome, and there was a Felicity gown I don’t recall. Just as well.
Everyone, happy Halloween, and again, I will go back to yesterday later today. You’re all awesome!
One other thing, DEBBIE, my entire collection was packed by me, with professional materials and boxes, and came out to CO from NH just great. Hang in there. Hope the dolls aren’t bickering about who gets to ride in the car!

It is a sunny Saturday here and the leaves couldn’t be prettier. Chilly but a good day for a shopping trip with my BFF, lunch out and home to watch football.
Beautiful slide show and the pictures of Navi just made me laugh out loud. Not only cute but it gives you an idea of her tiny size. The other girls are the best but Navi was really funny🤗
Enjoy the Carmel apple fest…it will get you away from being a contractor for awhile. Hope it went well🎃🍎

  8. I have been thinking that you make the prettiest clothes for Addy, but it just occurred to me that It must be that I just really like the period dresses she always wears. And I love Addy’s sculpt, I think she’s the prettiest AM doll, so maybe it’s a little bit that, too.

You never need to apologize for showing slide shows of your wonderful creations as far as I’m concerned. I love them all but the plaid dress on Addy is always one of my favorites. And there are always some that were created before my time on the blog, so I totally enjoy the slide shows.

Another beautiful day here. Tomorrow evening Sean and family will be coming out for the Boo Bash. They checked into some other events but many had admission charges and they were burned last year on the one they went to. It wasn’t at all what was advertised. Ours here is from 5 – 8 pm but I imagine they will be here at 5 but leave about 7 because it is a school night. It should be fun and the weather is expected to be lovely and actually quite cool. Kind of like it was in PA when I used to go trick or treating.

Happy Halloween to all my sofa sisters. Enjoy!

Dear Jeanne, I am always up for a doll fashion show.

My favorite outfit was modeled by Navi. She’s a tiny doll but she has a big presence!
