Want to see what/who my hubby got me for Christmas!

But first, a few comments from past posts.
Dorothy ~ Yes, Jean and Bithar’s family has grown by one… there is Samuel, Deborah, Esther, Blessing, Grace and David. Oh, and one more thing for you… the year’s almost over, but that just means one thing to you… it’s one day closer to May! :o)
Charlotte ~ That bear for Bithar WAS a Boyd’s bear…and I’m a nut when it comes to games… at church I just might be known as the “Game Queen! and one more thing…I hope you and Ron stayed home for dinner!
Linda ~ I do plan to remember and make more coats next December and a little beyond!
Sylvia ~ So I am the Furrier of the Year? HA! :o)
Sally ~ I saw the Highlights magazines in the dentist office too…isn’t that funny how we remember something like that?
Elaine ~ I’m thrilled that your favorite Christmas present was the $$ and the assurance that you’ll be getting your new puppy this summer.
Joy ~ You just might see pictures of the coats… I asked the winners to send pictures of them on their dolls. I think a redo on the picture of Kathie’s clan would be fun to do now…
Paula ~ Good eye… yes, it was a Boyd’s bear… and I am truly enjoying making the coats for the dolls… there just aren’t enough hours in the day for me to make as many as I want! I was happy the girls were thrilled with the mini AG dolls… I had decided I wasn’t going to sew for them… I have enough little dolls to keep me busy!
Barbara ~ You were right too… it WAS a Boyd’s bear…I loved your idea of buying a puzzle and having it put together for you! That’s a great gift idea for someone who LOVES puzzles! I hope you get your Wren doll very soon. She truly is a wonderful doll… I hope you got my pictures too. Jean and Bithar are planning to stay here for now… in fact, they are looking for a bigger house! :o)
Susette ~ I’m so happy I enabled you to get your Wren Pistachio… I’m not sure I remembered that! How fun!
Marilyn ~ We are glad to know you are safe from the fires… what a scary thing to be close to. I zoomed in too, but didn’t quite understand where you lived… I’m just glad you are safe…maybe smoky smelling, but safe! :o)
Debbie ~ We did have a fun time with that game… and the neat thing was none of them had EVER been fishing before, so it was their first CATCH!
Alina ~ A very Happy New Year to you TOO!
Laura ~ Giving those little dolls away was so much fun. The girls played with them and I don’t think they put them down from the moment I gave them to them until they left!
Kathie ~ Thanks for the pictures… they were wonderful…and I’m like Joy, I’d have the kids do a retake now and see the difference… of course, you might have use a doll for Baby Jesus now… :o)
Ingrid ~ I haven’t looked to see if there were more coats on Ebay… I’ll have to check… I’m so sorry to hear you are still without taste or smell… how horrible… I’m going to check out the link you sent to the house you’ll be looking at…Sorry you didn’t get the snow you wanted for Christmas… maybe soon you’ll have some.

Okay, now to my post for today… Someone came in the mail today…

It was Frieda…

She’s a 14.5″ Ruby Red Fashion Friend doll…the same as Stella and Rozen and Sara…

…except she has pretty brown eyes and long dark brown hair.

She is pretty adorable and I think she’ll make a great model…

Her skin is a beautiful darker color and she’s supposed to be Native American. She has a long thick braid pulled over to one side and it must be practically to her ankles if it’s taken down. I think I’ll wait a while, but her hair does intrigue me…

She has on a Girl Power Tee and a white zip vinyl-like jacket. Her skirt is a tulle and very soft. She has striped tights and look at her boots…Silver boots! They are very cute!

She is very sweet and as much as I’d love to spend time getting to know her, my sister’s are here and I’m going to spend all my time with them… If I’m back on Monday, I’ll be here, but I just might take an extra day off to see what fun we can have!

Thanks everyone!
Happy 1st day of January to you all!
Blessings, Jeanne
