A Boneka doll “SPECIAL” just for my readers!

Not everyone knows “everything” about “every” doll out there… and since I introduced Holly, my Monday’s Child, Boneka doll, a few of you had questions…

I found a wonderful blog post about the differences between the Monday’s Child, the Tuesdays’ Child and the Thursday’s Child dolls…Just click the link below…and learn all about them…

Boneka doll differences

Also, I went ahead and listed the dresses on Ebay Tuesday. It’s a 5 day auction and ends Sunday evening. I also listed them together as a sister set. It seems that whoever has one Boneka doll, usually has TWO Boneka dolls! (Funny how that happens isn’t it?)

You can see the auction by clicking the picture of the girls at the right side bar or you can click HERE.

Here are a few pictures of the girls together with their new hair ribbons and a new bow made for Noel. We found a pair of white shoes for Noel so she didn’t look like such a farm girl… (sorry the shoes aren’t included) They also picked out matching white puppies to go with their dresses!

Now, here’s the fun part just for my subscribers… I’m wanting to make a few more pieces for the girls so their outfits can be “expanded” shall we say… I think a decorated white hat, another hat for one of them and a couple of tops to go with the pantalettes can be done with the few tiny scraps left over. If you had FOUR dolls, you’d easily be able to dress them all in matching fabrics!

I didn’t say anything about the “extra” pieces on the auction… this is exclusively for ALL of you who read my blog!

Thanks everyone…
See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

The outfits turned out so cute, and I love the pictures!

Thanks, too, for the link to the post about the differences between the three styles of Boneka dolls.

Funny how you should mention how one usually has TWO Boneka dolls. I have two, a Tuesday’s child (Nyla–the UFDC Indonesian one from two years ago) and a Thursday’s child (Mona)…and just today ordered a THIRD one, a Monday’s child named Jasmin! (I have learned to Never say, this will probably be my “last” doll! LOL)

    1. Thank you Charlotte,
Oh dear…dolly fever has struck Charlotte…in the nicest way!! Congratulations!!
Did you buy one of the dolls shown on Facebook that were coming soon?
      Blessings, Jeanne

Yes, I did, Jeanne. I got Jasmin. she is a Monday’s Child, has two auburn ponytails (ringlets, it looks like) tied with pink bows, and wears a white pinafore over a pink print dress. Her wig is mohair.

  2. Oh, those pictures are just TOO CUTE, Jeanne! What more can I say? I love the pretty pink ribbons and perky fabric bow in their hair! They just look precious, and I sure do wish I had a Boneka doll! Well, maybe some day!

I also love the setting you put them in! Somehow it looks like they just stepped outside an early 1904 mansion! I bet those two darling dolls won’t be wearing those dresses for long!

Thank you so much for the link about differences of the Boneka dolls. I certainly learned a lot!

    1. Thanks Linda,
Maybe someday you’ll find a little Boneka doll for your very own! You’d be a great mom to one!!
I’m liking that new backdrop too…simple but it works…
      Thanks Linda
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. Nice explanation of the Boneka Days measurements. I haven’t really done much with those that live here, but it is nice that they can wear some Ann Estelle clothes and that they fit in with the Meadow Dumplings as well as Little Darlings.
The dresses are sweet and so nice of you to add in some extras for blog members.
I can’t remember, but do you have any Sylvia Natterer dolls? or Zwergnase? The Meadow big girl Ardyn who lives here can wear some Zwergnase sizes. 🙂

    1. Hi Joy,
If someone buys the set. But isn’t a subscriber to my blog, I’ll just use the pieces for something else…
I had that Sylvia Natterer doll but sold her…
My biggest dolls are the AG ones…
Did you get the tent finished?
      Blessings, Jeanne

Dear Jeanne, the girls look adorable. I bet one of the Sofa Sisters will snatch up the dresses with extras.

Thanks for posting the link to the Boneka site with the information about dolls. It’s a great reference.

    1. Thank you Dorothy,
I like having a group of ladies called the “Sofa Sisters” on my blog… i hope one of them wins this…I cut out the little tops last night…

      I liked that Boneks link too… :o)
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. That must be how it goes… one doll leads to another, one dog leads to another, and I know without a doubt that one cat leads to another!
The Boneka dolls look adorable in their sweet dresses with their sweet puppies. The pink print is so cheerful and I love the lace. You find the cutest little stuffies to include with your sets.
Looks like Charlotte’s going to need all these little pieces to dress her dolly trio. LOL.
It will be fun to read about the differences and then hope I just happen to find one at a yard sale from someone who doesn’t know who they are.

    1. Hi Laura,
Thanks so much for your kind comments.
Yes, you are so right about one thing leading to another…fabric is more of an issue with me than dolls are…but if dolls were the price of fabric…I’d be in big trouble!
You and Linda both need to find a doll like that… :o)
      Blessings, Jeanne

  6. The sisters set is adorable. Their little puppies are are even tinier than the Scruffies. I wonder if these dolls can share with Les Cheries? That’s the closest I have.

Yesterday I miss spelled my own name! Then my comment went into moderation. Off the see if it escaped comment jail. 😆

    1. Hi Julia,
I saw the different name, but guessed it was you…this comment made it through. Usually when someone new posts a comment, it goes to moderation so I can approve it. Guess the “new name” gotcha!
The Les Cheries in the sizes I’ve seen would be too big. But if there is a smaller one they might work…
      Thanks Julia
      Blessings. Jeanne
